Highly recommend this gym to anyone that enjoys working out. There is a variety of group exercise classes and the gym has a large selection of exercise equipment. Facility is spacious, very clean and has ample parking ..Staff at CF Fitness Edge are all friendly and available to help when needed ..

Come get a sick pump and not have to worry about getting tetanus from the barbells or weights. They’ve got protein shakes, a pool, hot tub, and sauna for all of your recovery needs.

Awesome community uplifting friendly staff ive been going for two years and I dont think Id ever change gyms at least while Im here update I changed gyms but that is because they stopped letting my gf in cause of COVID-19 on the guest pass but I loved this gym I just wanted to try other places definitely go here if your in the Carolina Forrest area Id even drive further to get here so

Nice club has most of what I need. Clean, bright, nice employees plus its 4 minutes from home so no 501 Traffic to deal with if you are in the Carolina Forrest.Has a pool. Also, although I dont use them they have quite a few group classes that seem to be popular .They offer a free three day pass to try it out. Just be aware it is three consecutive days, not three visits. I mention this because I work out every other day so only got to try it out two days. Luckily, that was enough to make me switch. Try Fitness edge. You have three days with nothing to lose.

I purchased a family plan on Monday then later went to add a family member Thursday nights i was told they couldn’t keep the plan going because of gym rules but was told to leave without an apology of any sort. I was told by the “manager” to have a good night and that if i did or didn’t wanna Renew my membership he didn’t care and told me i had to leave like I’m some kind of dog i wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy a place where they don’t care to humiliate you for them being wrong.

Great gym no matter your age, gender, size or exercise level. Staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Has a mobile app that tracks workouts. Can earn points for extra items like apparel, specific fitness classes, ect. Has a POOL, Jacuzzi and a sauna which are all very clean. Awesome place!

My favorite gym in the Grand Strand! So many options for classes, different locations, pool, sauna, jacuzzi... you won’t ever get bored, will only get fit! ❣️

I would like to append my previous review, They had a great deal for Christmas time where you could get 5 visits for 5 dollars. I like the slew of things they have so I went for it. They did offer me a membership each time I used my punch card and gave me a great deal. While my rate is now 44.95 monthly it is now cheaper than the YMCA and close to my work.

Hands down the best gym in the area. From the equipment to their staff, Fitness Edge is in a league of their own. Very professional and makes you feel welcomed every time you come.

This place is terrible. Its Is overly expensive for the how old and horrendous the equipment actually is. They have a function fitness room however if you do actually use it, they yell at you for too much noisy. Its on the second floor and even if you do box jumps it apparently is too much for the room under it. Everything is flawed by design here. The people that work their are arrogant and not helpful. Customer service goes a long way. Instead of being helpful they create a atmosphere of walking of egg shells. Their membership costs are terrible be design. I wouldnt waste your time or money on this place. Its ridiculously small and the equipment is terrible. All the bars are rusted. I would give negative stars or zero.

You never realize how good you have until you move away! It is very clean and lots of friendly, beautiful people. If you think it is expensive try the gym here in California with unattractive people and no one is friendly and they are on y device working as they workworkout! There are so many people here it’s overcrowded at almost every gym at all hours which means very dirty. I went from 2008-2014 to this gym so I have no pics but if I find Any I’ll update! :)

The entire gym is dirty. The floors, showers, pool, sauna, walls, pictures, equipment, water fountains and sinks are visibly dirty. Just visit and walk through. You’ll see. The people are nice though.

I joined Fitness Edge 3 years ago when they had their $4 signup special over Fourth of July. I wasnt too familiar with a lot of the machines in the gym so I started getting into classes. I took everything from CrossFit to Spin to Yoga. Having some instruction and meeting the staff and other members while participating in the classes helped me to achieve my fitness goals. I now feel confident in my workout routines if I want to use the free weights and the machines on the main floor. The staff and a lot of the members feel like family to me.I have to move to Raleigh for work in the Fall and Fitness Edge is one of the things I will miss most about Myrtle Beach :(

Owner Mike will not speak to his members unless your young pretty girl. Hits on my daughter so she quit. Been there many years and he never spoke to me or my husband. We have business with hundreds of customers and i speak to them all because im thankful for them Kelly manger ignores you if you ask for protein shake to be made. I hear members complaining she rolls her eyes at them when ask to make a shake. Trainers are great. Everyone there is nice but i dont wish to give my money to someone who doesnt respect women and members. Thank goodness for planet fitness

The staff is always nice, especially Mindy, Kelly and Adam but the place is filthy. They need a professional cleaning crew in at least once or twice a week. The staff trying to keep that place clean is ridiculous.

Originally joined to do Crossfit - through no fault of Fitness Edge I stopped going. I knew I had a contract to adhere to, so I paid for the whole year, and when I went in to cancel they said I was too close to the draft date so I had to pay for one more month. No problem, I knew I should have come earlier in the month, so I paid that month. I then saw the next month that they drafted another months fee out of my account, even though I had cancelled and had signed paperwork saying so. I called, and the first guy told me 1-2 weeks to get the money back into my account, and he also told me that my account didnt say it was cancelled, due to someone having to approve it that never did. I called a few days later to check into the status, and the woman told me it would be 7 - 10 days til I got the money back, and that it said it wasnt cancelled, was I sure I cancelled? I said yes, I have the paperwork. Here it is 2 weeks and a day later, and no refund. Called a THIRD time, and they once again asked if I cancelled. I had to give my credit card number for them to refund the money, which was a new development. I had my bank put a block on the automatic withdrawal so they are not allowed to take any more money, should they try to take it again. I do not think they did it maliciously, they are simply unorganized. Same reason they took a payment twice from me when I switched bank accounts.As far as the gym facilities go, the crossfit was good when I went, they have a lot of cardio and weight machines, and they have SOME classes. Would wish for more classes at night, many are during the morning, and the yoga classes are for very beginning or injured students so its not a very good workout.
