Yesterday a sheriffs officer told me the salvation army would help with shelter, food, finding a job, and a bus wavier. Walked into the local salvation army and ask and was told didnt have any shelters, didnt know of anybody that does bus vouchers and was asked to leave cause they was going on break......smh.

They love helping people in the community. They collect money for the Angel trees at Christmas time. There is a food pantry for those in need.

I love this place the people are ALWAYS friendly. For the family on a budget there is something for EVERYONE.

Salvation army on Independence Street in Muskogee Oklahoma helps with food and utilities and sometimes on rent so and if you have kids 13 and under they help with the Christmas presents for the angel tree that you have to check early in November 4th at sign up for October Thanksgiving give outs

Salvation Army is a wonderful place. They care and try to help any and everyone.
