First off great service. The workers are kind and helpful!Had a front strut done by them. Had me in and out within a few hours. Vehicle is driving smooth now. Will recommend to anyone.

They did an amazing job with my car (Subaru) after several places refused to even look at it. The employees take classes to stay informed and walked me through the diagnostic steps and what all they would be doing. Very professional and timely, they do it all, and I really appreciate that they do right by the customers. Will definitely be back!

Tell ya what, I will never bring my car to any other shop then Marks Transmission. Great service and the guys there really know what they are doing. I brought my car to a ford dealership and they couldn’t tell me what was wrong but I brought it to Marks and he was able to see the main issue within an hours worth of work. If you need anything done to your vehicles 100% hands down best repair facility I’ve come in contact with.

I was so confused on what was going on with my SUV. It would stall at red lights/stop signs and while in the idle position. When I shift into reverse, I had to quickly step on the gas so my SUV would not turn off. Well, Mark’s Transmission took care of this issue in the most friendliest way! They listened to my concerns and provided great feedback. But what really had me sold was the fact that they stayed pass their closing time to ensure that the repairs were complete so I can receive my SUV the same day! Now this is what I call going above and beyond for the customer!!! Five stars!!!

So, the transmission finally went out on my Blazer, there was only one place I could trust with the experience and knowledge to do the job right. I have known Mark and his family for over 35 years, went to school with them and they have been working on transmission since they were still in diaper, I had never needed to use them before, but now when it came time to seek thier service, I made the right choice, my car was down for minimal time and Tracie (Marks wife/Front office enforcer) kept me informed and updated all the way which put my mind to ease. The job was done in a timely manner at a reasonable price and with the skills and craftsmanship that only Mark can provide.Highly recommend, because just like Allstate Youre in Good Hands

Its just too bad- the reviews were so hopeful...I called to get a general idea of the pricing for some work needing to be done on my car today. I thought I had the wrong number, as the call was answered, but was muffled, and the other end of the line was mumbled. I made sure I had called the right place, and asked about the general service rate. The lady that answered the phone was completely offputting and rude. And who are you to ask about our prices? she snidely asked. I stated that I was just looking to get an idea of their labor rate so I would know how much I was looking at setting aside. She quickly told me $120 an hour and hung up. This price was far more than the other few shops I had called and gotten a FRIENDLY answer from. I suspect it was only to get me off the phone and back to having a miserable life. Even if they HAD given me a reasonable rate, I wouldnt want to take my car in just to be treated so poorly.

This guy had my car for 2 months trying to find a parasitic electrical draw that was draining my battery every couple of days. Picked up my car today and asked the cost. Mark told me no charge because he couldnt find the cause of the drain. I said I had to pay him for his time, he said he didnt fix it so no charge.This is called Integrity and pride in workmanship, qualities that used to be the norm but now are the exception. We were 250 miles from home,camping with a pop up. Noticed a transmission cooler line leak on the car Since our camp site was about 30 miles from Muskegon,started calling some auto repair facilities.The first couple could not look at for 3-4 days. One said since its a trans issue,give Marks a call. The lady,who I found out was the owners wife,said to bring it down,and theyd see what they could do. Upon arrival,had a tech look at it with in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later had an estimate,and had located the part at one of their sources,about 15 minutes away. While the tech moved another vehicle of the lift to get ours in,the lady ran for parts. Tech had the part pulled as she came back with the new line assembly.Only about an 1 1/2 hour of down time,and the work was done for a fair price. As someone who runs a large trucking company maintenance shop, I appreciated the customer service,and the fair and honest pricing. While I was waiting,I walked over to the corner Walgreens,and the lady there said the were wonderful to deal with as well . I cannot say enough about how thankful I am for these guys. Even tipped the tech with the only cash I had on me. If you need repair in Muskegon,this is an outstanding place.

Got my Jeep back and running great. Great service and advise. Will be bring my drive train work here again.
