Told me it would be a 2 hour wait (which i was fine with) and it ended up being less than an hour! Great work and gave me a discount as well.
Went to Jiffy Lube to have my Emissions checked and On The Spot registration renewal. The team there was so friendly, so fast and had great personalities and interaction. They made a process I dread each year (Registration renewal) so easy. I will definitely go back to them in the future.
As a woman with extensive mechanical experience, I brace myself when I get my car serviced. Jiffy Lube has been the only place that can I take my car without be bombarded with unnecessary services (one place presented a dirty air filter that did not belong to my car). I spent twice what I was planning to which I am comfortable with because Mark showed me my filters, and informed what my car needed. I just purchased a used vehicle. Clearly, the dealers mechanic was remiss in looking the car over. I appreciate being able to drive in, get services and drive out knowing that my transportation is well maintained and road worthy without being over charged.
I have always had the best service at the Murray location on 4949 south State Street. I have taken my car to the actual dealership for my car and they did horrible. I have went to other Jiffy Lubes and have had good service but this location seems to have better customer service and listen to you and your concerns as the customer.
I was told I needed a serpentine belt and if I didnt get one I would end up being stranded. After I asked to take the part home once replaced he then said he no longer had the part. He would not assist in ordering one or anything. He said he could no longer help. I still ended up leaving with a $371.00 bill. Jiffy lube in Murray and state street not the place to go. How can you cause fear of breaking down and then no longer even want to discuss how to solve it? Unless it was a scam. There are even more questions on the service that was done that day. 😳

170$ for an oil change they apparently never did.Oil light came on less than 500 miles after I paid them.Went to big o down the street, cost 46 dollars.Car is running better immediately. Oh, and they didn’t put a new filter in!Good job guys.
I came in recently for an oil change and asked if something in my car was leaking because I had seen something dripping from my car. Mike asked if I’d been running my ac and I said yes since it’s been extremely hot. He said that condensation can form on the ac when it’s hot outside and drip and that no, nothing was leaking on my car. Two days later my car stopped working while it was down pouring on the freeway with my two little children with me. Lo and behold, there was no oil in my car. Turns out, Jiffy Lube had punctured a hole in my oil filter and instead of replacing it when they did my oil change, they put it back on with the hole in it! And then when I called said they had informed me of the oil leak when I left. They are a bunch of liars here. I’d like to keep my car so I won’t be bringing it back.
The service and products are great. Thats why I keep going back. I requested an oil change and emissions test, but they probably checked everything else as well. I just wish something could be done to improve waiting time. There were only two vehicles in the bay when I arrived, but it seemed like an inordinate amount of time before they got around to servicing my car.
I rarely write Google reviews, but I was so impressed and grateful for their service this morning that I wanted to give kudos. Im too embarrassed by my automotive ignorance to give the full details, but, basically, I was concerned about a warning light on my dash, so I brought it in. It was quickly diagnosed and remedied at no charge. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the gentleman who helped me (didnt get his name) - - he went out of his way to explain the situation and answer my questions. Im shamefully ignorant about all things automotive so I appreciate someone willing to take extra time like this and for experiences like this that build trust.

The staff is really awesome they did a great job they just checked and all I have was my fluids checked and tires but she went far and beyond and try to fix my washer fluid sprayer but she told me where I could get it they were really good and knowledgeable about things and they do so much more than change oil so if you ever need a place to go jiffy lube is great

I don’t always come to jiffy lube to get an oil change I usually do it myself because it’s cheaper. But today I’m in a hurry so I decided why not only $30 more. I’ve had my oil changed there recently enough to know it was about $80-$90 but they get finished and now my bill is $150?? Yeah I get prices go up a little over time but $60+ more in 4 months?!?!? How in the HELL does it jump that much? You can say I’m never getting my oil change there again!

They checked my brakes and I was worried that theyd lie and say they needed to be changed. They told the truth though, and told me exactly how the brakes were. It was refreshingly honest.
They were fast, efficient and honest. Even tho I didnt get the best news from them their professionalism and customer service skills made my paying the bill completely irrelevant which usually wouldnt be the case.
Went in for a oil change. Guy told me my wiper blades were worn. Paid $50 for premium replacement. Drove away and noticed the wiper blades were dirty...turns out the guy never even put them on. Definitely felt like a scam to me. Won’t go back to these guys!
The team in the Murray store is professional friendly adept very dedicated to their jobs. The manager there always upsells me but its usually four things that I really really do need. So Im willing to pay. I drive from downtown Salt Lake City to go to this Jiffy Lube specifically.
If I could give a 0 🌟 I would have. Website says they charge 25 for emissions, got charged 39. Im very very displeased with your very misleading website. I will never be going here again. Fix your prices to match website or fix your website to match your prices.

We took our 2019 Chevy Trailboss here. Two days later, leaking. We called them, they didn’t act concerned at all. Took it to another Jiiffy Lube, they couldn’t find the leak but it was 2 quarts low. The leak got worse. Three weeks later, the dealership was able to diagnose. They left the old ring gasket in and it welded to the new one they put in. We called again, spoke to manager again. Again, not concerned. Our engine almost blew in a $60k truck because of incompetence and they seemed entirely unbothered. Be cautious, if you care about your vehicle, bringing it here.
Went for a oil change and emission test after 2 hours wait time in Toyota dealership. Wish I waited 2 hours as it took about an hour as well even though only 1 more car was being attended to. Felt pressured to upsell ($90+ oil change, not even full synthetic) on oil change, engine flush, battery (1 year old). I was hoping they would change same oil type as before but felt trapped to use $92 oil change as no other cheap options were available. Card machine was not working was told to get cash from near bank. I asked what is my total. I was shown total of $130. I came back from bank, and was told $140 by different person. I paid $140 for oil change and emission (sticker too) even after $20 coupon on oil change and $6 coupon on emission!!! ($33 emission, $10 sticker and $97 on oil change???). This is on me! Never going back!
Came here to get my emissions done because I just bought a new vehicle and it just happened to be across the street from the hotel Im staying at very fast service got me in and out within about 12 to 15 minutes definitely going to use this location again!

Forgot to fill my power steering fluid. When I came in a few days later they tried to say my hose was leaking. And said I was a customer trying to get something for free. I didnt even want my money back I just wanted them to fill it and admit they made an oops

Poor customer service, The store was not ready at 8am to do an oil change even though their sign shows they open at 8am. They asked us to wait 15 min while they had a meeting. If they dont plan to be ready to change oil during store hours then they need change their store hours. We noticed the staff outside smoking and not fully dressed for work.The manager was rude and yelled an apology in a disrespectful manner while his staff member was on the phone recording as if she assumed something was about to go down. All we wanted was an oil change to be done on time, not when they felt like being done with there morning smoke and finish getting dressed and have a meeting. They behaved so poorly and unprofessionally. They spoke to us as if we were a bother for them. I would never go there again. We went down the road to a different Jiffy Lube at 3300 s 9 west where we were welcomed and helped right away. Their staff was so nice and helpful we will be going to 3300 S 9 west from here on out they were very professional and had perfect customer service.
I went in two days ago for a basic oil change and rock chip repair. The tech, who was also the manager, insisted that I needed to have $1,000 worth of work performed on my car...which is a lot for a Subaru Outback that’s only three years old. I said yes to some of the repairs, but when I tried to say no to others (a new battery, for example), the tech pressured me into it, saying that my car was most likely going to break down and leave me stranded if I didn’t replace the battery ASAP. Feeling uncomfortable and stuck, I paid for it all. Now, two days later, my air bag light is on. I called the shop to ask about it, finding the timeline to be a little funny (since they’d just worked on my car two days prior and made no mention of an airbag issue). I spoke to the same tech/manager, who claimed it couldn’t have possibly been related to the services they performed. Fine. It is what it is. But, since I had him on the phone, I told him how I felt frustrated, overcharged and taken advantage of two days prior. He condescendingly told me that I “was a big girl” and “should learn how to say no.” Even though I’d told him “no” just the other day! He then had the audacity to backtrack and tell me how he respects women and treats every customer equally. But, if the tech/manager truly respected women, he would’ve listened to my concerns and not told me to be a “big girl” and learn how to say “no.” True respect would’ve been to accept my initial “no” and move on. He apologized, but it was more of a “sorry you feel that way” apology, not a genuine “how can we make this right” or “how can we do better next time” apology. The airbag isn’t even why I’m upset—I’m appalled by the tech’s sexist remarks and the fact that I was pressured to buy a battery I didn’t want—after I’d said no.Update: I spoke to a gentleman at the Jiffy Lube’s corporate office. He expressed genuine concern and stated that he will personally visit this Jiffy Lube location to offer training/guidance to this tech/manager. While I am still dissatisfied with how I was treated at this particular location, I do feel that Jiffy Lube corporate did their best to make this situation right.
OMG they checked my differentials and transfer case, and topped them off for free. Yes free. As in no charge. Amazing and the staff was great. Showed me everything that was at issue and very nice. And FYI they were all low and 1 was leaking good too. So like a couple qts. Great service guys.
Great group of staff. They all got along really well. You can tell they make a great team. Always joking around with each other but the job is getting done. Had a little bit of a wait but they only have two bays so it is understandable. I bet they wish they could have more bays as well as I am sure the customer basis wishes the same but with that said a great experience.

Mark and his crew were so professional and great! I only go to this jiffy lube! I had brought my car in to get my filters changed and an oil change to find out that I had a squirrel family nestled in my carbon AC filter. Mark and his crew went up and beyond to get the baby squirrels out safely and got my car to tip top shape. I could not have done it without them!!! I’m happy knowing the baby squirrels are safe and out of my car.

It seems there is a constant turnover of management at this location. Today what is not a good day. I went in for a registration sticker and I did not need a test just the sticker. I was told to park and wait in my vehicle for 5 to 10 minutes, they would come get me. After 25 minutes of sitting there with no one coming back out to talk to me I just left and drove up to the location on 9th East and 5600 South where they took care of me and got me in and out within 10 minutes. Stay away from here.

Switched to this Murray location from a different location recently and very happy I did. This location was very thorough going over services I could opt to have with no pressure. I had several services done that I knew needed to be done, and they did them quickly and professionally. I had a coupon that saved me a good percent off the total work done. If you have been disappointed with another location, I recommend the Murray location on 4949 So. State.
They had very poor customer service. Their staff was unprofessional and smelt very strongly of smoke. They were very slow with their services and never seem to be open as advertised. Dont bother coming in early because they never seem to be open on time. I do not recommend them to anyone.

This is the worst Jiffy Lube location ever!!! They don’t even deserve 1 star. I have had 3 different horrible encounters with this location in particular. The 1st experience I had needed an oil change on a vehicle. My dad had gone in with my vehicle the day before for the veterans day oil change since he was a veteran and we had been using my vehicle a lot at the time. When he had gotten there they were closing up early and gave him a card that was dated and signed by the manager saying come in tomorrow, show this card & we will do the free oil change then. The next day I brought the same vehicle, I brought the card and had my dad on the phone because he had to work. they refused to do it until the same guy who had given the card was there. we waited another day. I came back with the same vehicle, same card, my dad on the phone, & the guy who had given the card 2 days prior was there but they said no. I left & when my dad was done with work for the day went over and talked about keeping promises they finally kept their word and did the oil change. I brushed it off thinking it was just a bad couple of days.The 2nd experience could not be a coincidence. I went back to get another oil change a couple of months later. I got there asked for an oil change and was taken to the waiting area. I sat there for an hour waiting for a simple oil change to be done and I was the 2nd customer there, there was no one else there and there are two bays. When they finally brought me up to pay for the services they tried to sell me a windshield repair when there were absolutely no cracks or chips in my windshield. They also tried to sell me a new air filter and told me that a squirrel or mouse has been living near the filter in my car. I had the filter changed a few weeks prior and there was no mention of any animal living in my car from the person who had changed it prior or after this whole experience. They were even advertising a $60 oil change but when everything was done i realized they had charged me $112.79. They advertise a complimentary vacuuming of the floor and wash of the exterior windows but they didn’t do that at all. They didn’t even put up the sticker of when the next oil change is even though I specifically asked for it.And the 3rd and final time they got any business from me was only because no one else was open near me at the moment and I urgently needed an oil change for a different vehicle. And everything that happened during my 2nd experience happened again except the price was a little bit cheaper but not by much.

NEVER going to this location again! Went in for a simple oil change and I was bombarded with a ridiculous sales pitch of everything else that they can do on the car. By the time the pushy guy was finished talking, cost was upwards of $300+. I didnt fall for it but dang it was so uncomfortable being pressured like that!Targeted Im sure because Im a female. Steer clear of this location and pick a jiffy lube thats honest.
My boyfriend brought my older car there to have the oil changed and registration done. He was quoted $90 for the oilchange. The guy who rang him up over charged us. We ended up paying $170 for an oil change. The only paperwork he got was of the registration papers. When I checked my bank statement it was charged the extra money for the oil change. Dont go to this jiffy lube unless you want to be taken advantage of and ripped off. Its cheaper to go to a dealer than being ripped off from this place!

Decided to swing in for a quick oil change since it was close. 90 dollars for a oil change that Ive been able to get at other shops for 50. Couldnt say no because they had already drained the oil out of my car before they told me the price
My cars oil light came on going down freeway. I had changed the oil the day before and got the filter on wrong. Made it to Jiffy Lube. They replaced the oil and filter. Mark was great didnt charge me. I will definitely go back. Thanks Mark You made this senior citizens day!

WOULD NOT RECOMMENDNOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.i went into this shop at the beginning of February or around that time, i had a tech look at it and wanted an oil change and to get the car registered, upon them looking at the car they began to tell me i have tons of problems with my car and that i needed a new battery when i said no i got one a year a go the the tech said well when you get stranded somewhere that your problem not mine. he then proceeded to tell me that my car would not pass because my car threw all these codes, it wasnt throwing codes before he then told me his SISTER OWNED A SHOP AND HE COULD GET ME AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT AWAY WITH HER HMMMM not sketchy at all. maybe not all the people here are bad but the tech with a brown eye and blue eye definitely is. he said i could only come back to this jiffy lube as well to get my car registered and i could not proceed to do that anywhere else, i have been to another shop they took care of me and the car passed crazy! Dont go here 2/10 would recommend
Very satisfied with the service I received. Came in to get my AC checked out and recharged. They did that and it works wonderfully now. Mark, the manager was a pleasure and even knocked a bit off of my bill, filled my tires, and filled my windshield washer fluid, and fixed a small chip on my windshield which they set up for my insurance to cover. He/they went above and beyond and were also very personable and polite. My husband and I were very pleased, we will be back.

My girlfriend took her car to these guys for an oil change. She said the whole time, multiple guys were asking for her age and harrassing her. On top of that they proceeded to make her pay $112 for a simple oil change. I knew that wasnt right so I look at the receipt. They charged her $92 alone on oil. Mark the cashier took complete advantage of the fact that she was a girl that had no idea what she was doing. I took the same car in a month or so prior and paid $65 for an oil change. Dont go to this location.

Though I mostly started off coming to Jiffy Lube for convenience, oftentimes theyll take care of me for free or for very cheap. Of course other times it feels like its more expensive than it should be. But sometimes thats just car ownership before you.
It took over 2 hours to have my emissions test with a oil change. Not only that but they did three cars that came after me before they touched mine. Don’t come here if you want a quick experience.
Never go here, they up charged me nearly 80 dollars and charged me for a service I told them not to do and then surprised me with a 200 dollar bill for an oil change that should have been 70 dollars. The worker there was extremely rude about it as well and was very condescending to me and a few of the other customers while I was there

I received good service and the vehicle runs well. However, I felt that the team lead tried to push more and more services. I was tired and travelling. I felt that he was taking advantage of that.
Wife went in for an oil change. They said she needed new air filters. I personally changed a week before she went there. Then charged her 70$ to sanitize Her car. 280$ later. Thanks.

Steer clear!! This place is a rip off! We bought a groupon for a jiffy lube oil change and they said they couldn’t take it. Then they charged us $80 to do the oil change. Four guys working there and it still took an hour. They are running a terrible business and I would recommend going anywhere else.

I use the service often, which is in general pretty good. Fast and clean, if there are few cars around. They occasionally try to sell me stuff, but they are not pushy.Better to call in advance and make sure that the wait line is short, which is usually the case.Edit:Used to be good. Used the service for more than 5 yrs.But started to cheat: Air filters need replacement. (I just replaced them recently). Tire rotation needed. (I have a life-time rotation service and just rotated recently.) Need to use synthetic oil (NO). Need to replace oil 3000 miles. Need... Told them no, no, no, no. Kept on selling and cheating.Then, the manager came out and affirmed that I needed to replace oil in 3,000 miles.BAD business practice.My last time here!
These guys are under new management and are great! Dont go off of past reviews, those people have left. They worked quick, made us aware of anything we should look at on our car, were not pushy, and were more than willing to give us some discounts. Having worked at grease monkey in the past, I know how these shops run, and these guys were great! Would definitely come back.
Tire air pressure was low. They got my truck in and out under ten minutes. I didnt even have to get out of my truck. Very happy with the service.
I was extremely hesitant to come to a Jiffy Lube having had an extremely negative experience at a different location, but its the closest location to me house so I tried it. They were very fast and friendly. They changed my oil and fixed my rock chips and didnt try to get me to do anything extra. Definitely much better experience than the last Jiffy Lube I went to.

The only oil change I was told to get was 69.99. They tried to sell me everything they had which was way overpriced they told me things that were not true I am an ase-certified mechanic I do not think the gentleman to counter was very honest

Beware of this location! TWICE, not just once, TWICE they have changed my Daughters oil, and when she leaves her service engine light come on. BOTH times, they have left the Engine Coolant line disconnected, and then tell her when she goes back, that shell have to wait (upwards of an hour) and they will charge her to diagnose!!!! When they had just finished changing the oil and it was their mistake. Treated her like she was a stupid girl and one person was down right rude!!!!!! She took it to another location, and they fixed it right away and NO CHARGE!!!! Seems like they need to do some training at this location!!!! I will never go there!!!!!!!!
Was the only one there at 8:15 am. Two employees working. They take me to the lobby and then they both take a cigarette break really!!! Went out to ask if there were going to pull my car in. The one employee said no....needles to say I left. I always wondered why there almost always have no customers. Will be getting ahold of the owner of the franchise
