My wife and I needed new lap top. We had a old HP it was so slow. My son-in-law referred us 2 PC laptops. So we decided two visits the Murray location to see if they could help us. We got there and talk to an associate named Alex. All I can say it was a great experience and Alex was there to answer all our questions. And told us that they had a one year no interest so that we could pay monthly and you get a new computer which they had put together for us in two days. The computer works great we are so happy with it and especially the speed and a service we are getting from PC laptops. Keep it up you guys you do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good computer.
This is a pretty good place for computer repair, maintenance, and build. Though pricey, they do give you lifetime basic maintenance and clean-up, which in my opinion is great! However, the staff can be a little remote. When I dropped my desktop off for annual care, they pretty much just asked my information from across the room and said, okay, well call when its ready. So a little standoff-ish. Though times are scary, a friendly word wouldve made the experience that much better 😉
PC Laptops sells great desktops and laptops. Their service has always been exactly what I needed. Its just nice to let someone else worry about any issues that might develop in the regular course of using your computer. Id recommend PC Laptops to anyone who wants something that just works the way you expect it to.
This was my first experience with PC Laptops. All of my previous desktop computers were custom made by another company no longer in business. Devin guided me through the decision making process and arranged for the build. They transferred all my data and most of it worked. They are a little pricey but it should be worth it in the long run. Time will tell.
Bryce provided friendly service in helping me determine if the data on my laptop was recoverable. Without going into details, we discussed some of the roadblocks and possible solutions to recovering the data which resulted in success. Thank you!
Do not waste your time or money here. They overcharge you, and I cannot ask a simple question without them trying to sell me something. They overprice EVERYTHING.I tried to give them another chance by calling in and asking if they have any CPUs and they said they only had the newer models, but I needed an older one because my motherboard is older, and they told me I needed a new motherboard. Which is NOT true at all, but nice try lmao. 🖕🏻All the good reviews here are people who don’t know anything about computers and I feel SO bad for them!!
Love the staff are wearing masks. I genuinely appreciate PC Laptops concern for public health and safety. This makes me feel safe. Hopefully, PC Laptops will continue their mask policy after Utah prematurely lifts the mandate in April.Regarding service... Jason (Mgr/Tech) quickly and professionally resolved the cooling fan error I was receiving on my HP Spectre laptop at a fair cost.I highly recommend this location and strongly consider going back in the future.
My 4 yr old laptop was acting like it need a real boost. After seeing TV ads for PC Laptops I thought Id give it a try. I was sold what I thought was a mighty pricey laptop but realizing I was paying for way more than 4 years of service, I was ok with it. The staff was personable enough so that when a problem with what turned out to be a software driver problem, they were patient with me coming back several times to get that solved. I am happy that I chose the Murray store to make my purchase.

I went in and told them what I wanted. They were very honest and gave me exactly what i needed. They didnt try to sell me more than what i needed, which i appreciate! I also had a problem with my audio interface and the company of that product couldnt figure out what was wrong. I took my computer in and they figured it out! Thanks so much! Great company!
Awful service. We bought 2 laptops for over $3500 total and both of them are failing after 2 1/2 years. This is about the same as the HPs or Dells that we have had in the past at about one third the price. I have had mine in for several repairs and the last time, they had left my speakers disconnected and I lost access to my D drive. No Good!!
Great if you want to buy or build a pc they will make it to your specs and have a life time warranty. They also are great with a free virus scan and they do anti-virus stuff as well. I enjoy then and the friendly staff that will help if you dont know computers.

Recently purchased a desk computer system from Wyatt at the Murray store. A few days after I was having issues with the resolution. My old computer was 13 years old, was very slow and was having some display issues. I decided it was time for a new computer and came to PC Laptops on a friends suggestion. I was able to build a machine that matched my needs and also built a computer for my friend (it was his birthday) that meets his needs. The upgrades from our old machines is incredible. The machines are extremely fast, very quiet and the display is now gorgeous. I was very happy with the friendliness and professional service I received. I would like to say thank you to Wyatt, Ben and Jason for all they did for me and a very special thank you to Devin who answered all my questions and concerns and made sure I was taken care of. The next time I might need a new computer I will definitely come back to PC Laptops and hopefully the whole group that worked with me this time. I have seen ads on TV for years from PC Laptops, and through those years, have gone through a few computers - average lifespan about four years each. I decided to investigate PC Laptops further. They are as they say; you will buy your computer, and over time, they will upgrade you. Your initial cost is more than a traditional device, but thats because a lifetime of service is built into that pricing, and its not that bad. Most support is free, some is not, but I am satisfied my computing needs are in good hands, now and in the future. I have already received a few proactive calls from the company regarding proper maintenance for my device. It is all state of the art and will remain so as technology advances, part of the PC Laptop service. I made a good decision. I recommend PC Laptops.
Dont let your older parents or other elders go to this computer store....especially not by themselves......these people try and sell an 85 year old women a $2000 computer instead of fixing a simple problem if cleaning and reloading software..... and then dont fix it and claim the hard drive now has an issue after they said they fixed it 2 days before and then try to get them to buy the $2000 computer because theirs is now broken...... And charge her $300 and dont refund any money for not fixing anything......These people are thieves....dont let your elders get taken advantage of at this store.
I am very impressed with the service I received by Alex. Alex was able to transfer all my files from my older computers with no problems. All the employees I delt with were very friendly and helpful. I was very surprised at how fast PC Laptops had my new computer ready, Dropped the old ones off Saturday and picked up the new one Monday. I will defintely recommend PC Laptops to other people and purchase another computer from them.

I needed something that would work well with my Masters program. I really wasnt sure what that was. I described my needs, and a few upgrades were recommended. Went in to see what their prices are since Im considering getting a desktop after only having a laptop for a few years. Ive built a couple of my own computers in the past but figured Id see if the price is comparable here. They were very friendly and ready to help, no problem with customer service. They quoted me about $3100 - seemed high but whatever. When I went home to check the price of these parts online the total came out to $1600. So essentially Id be paying $1500 for them to build this thing and their continued service. I knew Id be paying more here, but that seemed kind of crazy. Not worth it for someone that knows about hardware, but maybe worth it for someone who wants their continued service. Anyway, I wont be purchasing anything here but I can see the appeal.
Great service! We had bought an internal hard drive for my son’s computer at a box store. They didn’t have the SATA cable which it needed. The clerk recommended PC Laptops, so went to the store across the street. The clerk there found a cable and just gave it to us. That is good old fashioned customer service.

Called before I went In to see if they can fix my laptop told them that It is a touch screen also I went in to talk face to face so they better understand my situation as I don’t like to waste my time or another persons time. I took 3 extra precautions to make sure they could be able to fix it as I live in Tooele I couldn’t just make a quick stop in.They told me they could fix it literally told me to order a new screen and battery online ( which I did that day) drop my laptop off they said it would take a day. A day passes I have to call them and ask what’s the eta on the laptop ( oh I’m sorry we couldn’t fix it because we didn’t have a special tool) they didn’t reach out to me at all for any updates Or problems like they said they would then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to a repair shop and then said he didn’t even know of repair shops. literally no help at all just a bunch Of kids hanging out trying to get money out of people. Tried to sell me a 2,000 set up in the middle of me trying to fix my computer( desktop like bro I didn’t come in for a desktop you know that) ( or them lying about being able to fix it) I think you would definitely know if you had a special tool isn’t electronics a special profession anyways. A simple problem and they acted in a way that was completely not helpful like they didn’t even care about helping 😂😅 worst service I ever had to this date 5/18/21 will never be returning and also advocating for anyone else to not go there they’re not looking to help anyone they’re looking to hit their number of selling computers. They even called and said we will fix your battery free of charge I’m so sorry. Lmao I got there and (they said we just left it as is) at that point I didn’t care took my things and left y’all need new staffing frfr and maybe some color in there as well. I had startup issues with my existing HP laptop. Initially asked for service/repair but they quickly recognized that this unit was unserviceable. Discussed the options with little pressure to buy. Just sound advice based on my personal usages which unit might bode well. Decided to purchase a new unit. It was a wise choice as my new unit performs like a champ! Took my new pc into these guys for a issue i was having. My cpu was running to hot and eventually crashed my computer. These guys fixed it fast and affordable, not only did it save me some money it saved me a ton of time and headache!

So the old slow computer got something on it that terribly slowed it down. Since it was over 5 years old I took that chance to buy a new computer. I wanted an SSD drive for speed and since I live away from the Wasatch Front, I wanted a good guarantee that when the normal problems occurred, I would have someone to fix the problem. It cost a little more than what was at the box stores, but I have more peace of mind and plan on using this computer for 10 more years. They were, of course, very friendly and helpful.
No matter which branch of this company I go into the employees are always ready to help ready to accommodate me ready to listen to the issues that I have and then make a determination if they can help me or not but I never go away from the place feeling like I didnt receive Superior service, even if I didnt buy anything they did their best to accomplish and fulfill the needs that I went into the store with. The gentleman who owns the company has been on television for years; his commercials are very unique and I have to be honest a little bit to the point of being overbearing and annoying but thats what sells and thats what the customers remember so I have no problem with this gentleman and the stores and the staff and even though they couldnt help me with what I needed today I will still go back. Theyre all very knowledgeable, they know what theyre talking about and they have super guarantees super lifetime warranties on the products that they sell. Theyre out of my budget, theyre a little bit pricey for new stuff, and where Im on a fixed, retirement social-security income, I never cant afford them but maybe one day when I win the lottery Ill go back in and Ill buy the store. 😁

Guy cant be bothered to provide an estimate for how long it will take to diagnose a laptop that isnt charging. Just interrupted me to repeat Bring it in and well take a look at it. If you call an autobody shop, theyd give you an estimate on how long it takes to look at it, and even give you a couple scenarios of what could be wrong and how long it would take. Must be nice to have so much business that you can be rude to your customers.
Stopped in here after being treated horribly at the big box store across the street. Jason looked at the computer, worked his magic and BAM I can get into my laptop again. Jason is the best, all the guys in there were so friendly. I’m definitely going to be back to see these guys.
Would leave zero if possible. My grandma bought a computer from this pc laptops on the 12. it was shipped to her house on the 16th. out the door it was close to $1400. Very overpriced and when she realized this, we went to take it back, they denied giving us the return, no paper work was signed, we still have the original paperwork. I called the murray store and they said they have a 2 week return policy. Well this store did not want to do that, and only gave us $700 back. the computer itself could be built for less than $700 right, I get software is not reundable but really. $1400 for the computer, and about $200 in software. highly dissatisfied.This was also a USED REFURB PCi7 67004GB RAM256GB SSDand a GT 710, literally worth $40

My old laptop was broken beyond repair. I went to PC Laptops to get a reliable laptop to use at home. Shortly after I got the new laptop we went into COVID lock down. I have been so happy with the performance of the new computer to keep in touch with the outside world and to work from home until my work procured a laptop for me. No pressure to buy and easy interest free financing. Im very happy with the experience and the computer.

I had a work project to install an M.2 SSD into a desktop computer. The M2x3.5 screw was not included with the SSD or desktop. Rachel gave me the screw at no charge and it secured the drive as expected. Very happy for her help and quick service!
I have been a PC Laptops costumer for more than five years. But I am never back there again.They over price everything from service to parts. I recently went there to seek simple help with windows 10 installation on my PC which PC laptop put together BTW. Over the phone I was told that, it will be free and I was asked my desktop in the store. I went in with my heavy hardware and the sales man tells me it will cost me $150. I explained him that this PC was built here. He pulled my account on the system and still denied the service I was promised.I would have been fine with reasonable price but $150 for windows installation, oh I already had the key. I wasnt even asking for the new key.I called CompuTech located on 3338 S 300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. they got fixed for $45.I recommend you call other local place and price match. You will be surprised how cheaper and reliable other local places are.Wyatt, the store manager called me about he review. He seemed to care about what i had to say. He even offered to pay for cost of this repair even though was done in different store.I think it would make sense to charge costumers less for windows installation if they have their own key. If not, $150 is a fair price for a service.I will update my review again once I hear about the price change. Thanks

Its was a great place. I needed my entire display on my phone replaced and it only took an hour and a half. Only cost me $287 I called 2 other stores and they would have charged me $350. I highly recommend this place.

Took my laptop to have it repaired since it was having performance issues. got a call two days later saying my laptop was completely dead and there was nothing they could do as it wouldnt turn on. Took it home, plugged it in and it fired right up. Much dead. Much wow.(post written from said dead laptop)
The staff knew what they were doing and selling. They were friendly and knowledgeable. And they built me a custom system without too much fuss. My only complaint is they dont use any previous gen parts and the price was quite a bit higher than I would like in the end. The theory is that the lifetime parts and service guarantees should more than make up for the cost. We will see.
I wont take my computer anywhere else! The folks at PC Laptops are awesome, my computer went out because of my motherboard and they swapped it out, walked me through everything that I needed to replace it and really helped me out. The people here are top notch and I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.
My 75 year old mom was just in your store. She had just been a victim of a scam which crashed her computer. She was told that her computer was to old for updates and that she needed a new computer. This I have no problem with but what I am concerned about was that she was told that you could build her a new computer for $2500. I really feel that you were trying to take advantage of her. Thankfully so did she so she left and was able to get a great new computer for her needs at Best Buy for $ 300. Two years ago I had a great experience with PC Laptops which is why I referred her to you. A mistake I will not make again!
This past weekend I took my name brand laptop into your Murray store to see if it could be fixed it. This was the 3rd laptop I had purchased in the last 5 years. First, I was told it could probably be fixed but they would have to send it back to the manufacturer. I then asked if they took laptops like mine on trade-in? He referred me to Steve, what a blessing. Steve listened to my concerns, asked me about my needs in a computer and he went into action. I told him I could not afford a new PC laptop. I am 76 and we live on a fixed income. I am also handicapped and depend on my laptop to keep in touch with my kids and for entertainment. Steve was able to come up with several options and I am now the proud owner of a PC Laptop. I am so grateful to Steve as when I have gone into other stores most salesmen will look at me and figure, heres a crippled old lady who doesnt even know what she wants, so they either ignore me or give me a quick brush off. Little do they know but I am a retired RN who worked until 2 yrs. ago. To me PC Laptops is the best around and Ill tell anyone.
My mother, also early 70s, had a similar experience to Peggy Jeromes mother. My mother needed a new piece of hardware, but she was told her computer was too old to support new parts (why PC Laptops couldnt just get an old, compatible part, I dont know). She was told to have a new computer built for $2100, and I feel you were taking advantage of her. She feels that way, too. She also literally has no money and is currently worried about losing her home. Unfortunately, she agreed because she felt there was no other options, and shes relied on PC Laptops for so many years and trusted you. What she needs right now is a computer that can run basic stuff such as Microsoft Office and access the internet.On a side note but also a poor service experience, when we called to talk about the situation right after she told me about her purchase (I am the executor of my parents estate and work to manage their finances when I have prior knowledge), the person we spoke with was not the sales professional who sold her the computer, but he definitely could have been more reasonable. Heres how that conversation went: My mom introduces herself and states she bought a computer that morning. The person who answered the phone immediately stated I know nothing about that! Well, we knew that, and he didnt offer to assist or find the person who was involved. He didnt even know at that moment that my mother called to inquire about canceling the purchase. I work in the customer service industry, and sure my company is different than one such as yours, but it would not go well if a customer service or even sales professional at my work was to respond and proceed in such an obstinate manner. Eventually, we were able to reach the person we intended to ask for, but it was a struggle.

He was showing us the benefit of buying from PC Laptops versus another brand from either the internet or from a box store. Ive had those other computers and they dont have the longevity that PC computers have. You cant beat the warranty that PC has on their products. They use upper end components in their computers. I would never go anywhere else for my desktop computers.

I needed help changing a battery in my mac air laptop. I had the battery but couldnt get the screws out of the case. I called PC laptops in Murray, Utah. Mike Jaremko answered and told me to come right over. I did and 15 minutes later, Mike and Wyatt had my new battery installed! I couldnt believe that there was no charge since I have other PC laptops computers!!! Great service, thanks!!!

PC Laptops is by far the best place to go for phone repair. I cracked the screen on my iPhone 7, and needed it fixed ASAP because I need my phone for work and I really cant go without it. I stopped by a few other places first but they all needed to order the part, which would take several days to a couple weeks to arrive. Obviously, I could could not do this. Finally, when I thought all hope was lost, I thought about that time when I got my computer from the PC Laptops store in West Jordan and how helpful they were. I figured maybe they knew where I could go and could point me in the right direction. I stopped by the Murray store and found out that since my last visit they actually started doing phone repairs! Not only that, but they actually keep parts in stock for the more common phones. It took them about 15 minutes to do the repair and I had my phone back good as new! I cant tell you how awesome this was for me, as I came go without my phone. PC Laptops really does live by their motto. They love their customers and are always willing to go the extra mile to make you happy!

This first time they cleaned my computer up and this time I bought a new laptop computer from them because I needed a new one. I have full trust in them. I wont go anywhere else. We took our computer in to PC Laptops in Murray to be totally redone. Steve hooked it up to a monitor and showed me the risk of our computer crashing based on the rate it was operating. He showed us what they could do to fix it and included in the price is lifetime service. I appreciated being able to see how our computer was running rather than just leaving it. Extremely honest. These guys are AMAZING! I had an old outdated charger that i couldnt find a replacement for. I saw PCLaptops across the street from a big electronics dept store i was just leaving. When i walked in i was greeted immediately and got quick service. Best part: they had the charger i needed AND they gave it to me for free! Makes me want to buy my next computer with them! Amazing peeps!

I was missing a screw from my motherboard which was stopping me from installing an SSD in my desktop. Called these guys and they said they could help me out. They were very friendly and had nothing to gain from helping me. They handed me the correct screw for FREE and I was in and out of there in less than 2 minutes. Wish I could do more than write a positive Google review. Great experience.
Still really unsure. Why dont you have any base prices or any pricing of any kind that I can find online? Am I just looking in the wrong spots on your websites? What about Chat features... You are a high tech company, how about a chat option to ask questions? I will update my rating as I go through the process of talking with you folks. Prices?
These guys were and are great! I came in at 6 and needed a new laptop. So they helped me find the right one for what I needed and started setting it up so that I could pick it up that night! That night right before they closed I was able to come in and pick it up, keep in mind I came in originally at 6 and they close at 8. Such great quick, knowledgeable, and nice service. I have recommended them to friends and family already. Thanks guys!
Michael is the man! I called with a few questions regarding A, B & C, and he answered questions about D, E & F along the way..., questions I didnt even know I had. He knew his stuff and was happy to share it, even if I werent a paying customer in the end. Thanks Michael! See folks! They really DO love us!
We were so pleased with the service we got from the Murray store that we purchased another laptop two days later. Matt and the guys were very helpful in deciding which laptop would best fit our needs. I will return if I need another computer
Ive had an absolutely unnecessarily difficult time trying to get a new battery for my laptop I purchased from PC Laptops.A few years ago when it first died, I took my laptop in, asked for a clean up and a new battery at the Sandy location. They said theyd handle it. About 4 days later I went to pick it up and they hadnt done anything with it! They said theyd need me to pay for the battery first and thatd itd take a few weeks to arrive. I get that, but why not communicate that to begin with?? I took it home unhappy and have just kept it plugged in.Ive been trying again and this time around has been even worse. I called ahead in Mid August and asked the guy on the phone what Id need to bring with me. He said that if it was one of their laptops theyd be able to look up which battery. I then go into the Murray location, where they proceed to tell me that they actually do need info from my battery. Great. Then they say, oh we can order the battery and you can pay when you pick it up, contradicting my prior experience.So I go home, send an email to the Sales Manager Mike Jaremko with all the info and.......still have yet to hear back after almost two months and two more emails sent.So they have good laptops and are good at fixing them, but man, none of the locations seem to be on the same page, they dont seem to really get the nuances of customer service in my opinion. Definitely going to be a one and done customer of theirs.
