Ive lived at Stillwater for the better part of 5 years and I just love living here. The office staff and the maintenance people are just on top of it. You constantly see maintenance people out and about and staying busy. They hustle, and its nice to see that. I also want to give a special shout out to the Community Director Veronica who walked me through a very difficult period when I was having trouble paying my rent. She kept me on track and got me on a payment plan that was realistic and fair at the same time. She also went above and beyond in helping me complete an application for rental assistance which made a huge difference in helping me get back on track. So thank you to Veronica and also thank you to Trenna at the office for her extremely friendly service and always being available to answer my questions.
One of the best places Ive rented from. Weve lived here for almost half a year and weve had no problems. The management is always polite and every time weve had a matinence request theyve been fast and have solved our problems. For the price its amazing compared to other places around That charge similar prices. My only issue is a lot of people are scummy and dont pick up their dogs poop so certain areas smell like such but thats the issue with the people, not the complex themselves
Moving is always so draining, but change of scenery is good. Although we werent able to see the apartment before we moved in-they were still working on it. We were told we were getting an updated unit but all they did was paint over, cleaned everything, does have some really cool blinds. Also the 2nd bedroom was a lot smaller than we thought. Theres no storage. But it is a much better place than where we used to live. The major downfall is that rent is so high so its going to be a big struggle.
Had a maintenance issue after hours on a Friday night. The maintenance worker on call showed up within 30 minutes and fixed the issue in quick and efficient manner.. He followed up as he said he would and was kind and professional at all times.
I am so incredibly impressed with the staff at Stillwater apartments. This is my second time living in this complex because of the stellar customer service I have received. I needed a place to move to move to and a quick turn around time, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of. I also love the maintenance staff who is prompt in taking care of all my maintenance requests. I cant say enough good things about the Maintenance supervisor Damir and his team, as well as all the office staff Veronica the manager, Trena, Jackie and Easton whove all been incredibly helpful.
The maintenance team was professional and friendly. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. I was kept up to date on their progress as well as slight setbacks that occurred due to weather changes. They were also respectful about not leaving any messes behind. They’re really a great team!
So far it’s been such a great experience! Quiet pet friendly community. The one bedroom is a great size, clean and newer updates. Trena has been working with me through the entire process and has made my move in so pleasant and easy!I’m looking forward to living here for a long time.Thank you Stillwater for helping me feel at home🙂Kathy
Awesome service! Maintenance was called for a leaky sink. Arrived quickly and with enthusiasm. Even acknowledged everyone in the room and was respectful to say hello ti my kids and not ignore them.
My maintenance experience was excellent. He came in assessed the situation got right on it and got it fixed. I really appreciate that it was fast convenient and he was very polite. Thank you so much
UPDATE: After calling multiple times, I was contacted via email. I never left my email on the voicemail message, so Im assuming they used the email I had on file when I was a resident. In this email I was informed that a final bill had been sent to me via the same email, back in 2020, but the email bounced back. I dont see how this could be possible as there was clearly no issue contacting me via email instead of calling me back as I had asked. Regardless, it seems email is the only way Stillwater will communicate because I never received a phone call about this bill and I never recieved the bill via mail.I am extremely frustrated that it took a year for them to inform me that I would not be receiving ANY of my refundable deposit back and that I OWE more money. This an absolutely horrible way to run a business and terrible way to treat a resident.I reccomend AVOIDING this complex at all costs.-----‐--------Staff and management are friendly but impossible to get ahold of. They never return phone calls. Maintenance requests were a nightmare to make. We had water pouring out of our ceiling fan in the bathroom (from the upstairs bathroom) and no one would fix it or even take a look until the next day. This happened several times. When we moved in the apartment smelled like it had been smoked in and appliances were not up to date. I moved out in August of 2020 and still have not received my deposit back. I have called multiple times and still have not received a call back. The lease stated our deposit would be partially refundable and we were told that, again, the day we moved out. I expect better from a professional management company. Dont waste your money. The units are not worth the price they are listed at.
The maintenance was quick to get the issue taken care of.
On 7/1 a known resident who was cooking meth in his apartment and had a whole drug ring going with other residents set his unit on fire. Leaving everyone else in the building homeless. Management has done nothing to be helpful during such a stressful and traumatic experience. They refuse to answer calls, they never return calls. I have lost multiple apartments due to the fact these people are unwilling to work and return calls. So Im still homeless all thanks to them. Ive lived there for shy of 6 years and each year that a new management company bought out the previous owners, it declined in safety and knowledgeable and competent staff. Stay away. Go live at a place where the background checks are legitimate and the community is safe and reputable.
Absolutely worse apartment complex I have lived in. The management tries to nickel and dime you with every “fee” they can but refuse to help you out with any issues you bring to them. Multiple issues with our apartment bldg but every time we try to get them to fix them they do nothing yet come up with false reasons to fine us. The parking here is horrible, the neighbors are extremely unfriendly and the area is sketchy at best. Do not live here!!
I requested a new toilet seat as mine had broken and it was left for me as I asked but had no hardware to attach.
Thank you for being prompt at replacing lock . Maintenance crew did excellent work !
Requesting for a bedroom door to be installed since it was missing when we originally moved in and it’s been a month today and still no bedroom door!!!! This is seriously ridiculous!!!
This is my first time moving out on my own and the girl that helped me out was so kind and made everything super easy and understandable. i didnt worry much about anything. so exciting!
My husband and I moved into Stillwater in July and we have been loving it! So fun to walk our dog and meet other people and pets. The duck pond is fun and the pool is great!I LOVE the amount of windows the apartments have and the in unit washer and dryer are great!
The maintenance at still water is run by two gentlemen who break their back day by day to make sure your needs are fixed in time. We had an issue with our furnace and they did everything in their power to fix it ordering to new bases, let’s etc. To later figure out it was an issue with a fuse. It took them 5 days to fix it and it’s summer not something you’d need, but it was something we noticed needed to be fixed. They are respectful and focus on the task. I’ve seen other maintenance workers at previous locations and they really don’t compare. Still water keeps it 100.
I love the service of our maintenance guy. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask for his name but he was very professional and willing to help in solving our issues.
It was old Air Conditioner, it been up and down till replace new thing in there and finally replace filter and much better and it was fast to set it up during I was working and they left a note to let me know it work as well and it pretty cooler now, thank you for come in and fix it ASAP. I appericate it!
We just moved in and so far we love it! Trenna was amazing and she was so helpful with everything. The only issue we have had is that maintenance takes along time. We did a maintenance request but when two weeks passed and we didn’t hear anything so we had to go to the office and talk to them in person.
Went to look at these apartments yesterday I was very impressed with the grounds being well kept. Did a tour of one of the apartments. The girl was very helpful. Gave me all information I needed and how there apartment works with trying to an apartment there. Apartment was very clean. Carpet smelled fresh and just cleaned by there carpet company. 👍 These apartment do keep up on damages and repairs and it really shows how much they do so. Very open washer and dryer with upper storeage. Deep closets witcher was very nice. Wish bedroom window was bit bigger than it is. While look at apartment. its seemed very quiet. No excessive dogs barking. Actally I didnt hear dogs at all while I there. Very relied to hear and pieceful it was there. I walking out of the complex its very quiet. Enjoyed how residents like the maintenance guys and seem happy to see them. Great interaction between residents and maintenance people. I like how management knows residents pets names. When walking out of the tour of Apt I looking at ran into a cat and the girl in management knew the nice cats name. She did a really good job on the tour. It looks like very good place to live. they keep up on carpet cleaning and damages. Very high reviews and overall reviews look very high. It seems residents enjoy living here.
The bird nest was removed from my dryer vent, but the birds just came back and started rebuilding the nest. There needs to be some sort of cover on the vent to prevent the birds from getting in.
Maintenance was very quick to fix my issue with my toilet
Love the quite location. My view is breath taking. Whenever Ive gone to the office to pick up packages or if Ive called asking questions the staff have always been so kind and helpful.
I love living here but it does come with alot of stuff that happens mainly at night
Jackie and Tadd were great! I needed to move in a bind and they made it happen! Rent is reasonable and they are all so nice. I like my neighbors, too.
I love it here so much. The neighborhood is so lovely and quiet other than ducks quacking. The grocery store across the street is perfect. The main office has the sweetest people who are always willing to answer questions and help out. When I moved in my stove wasnt working and I put in a work order online. They came by and checked it out within the hour! The neighborhood is very dog friendly with relaxing areas to walk. Each apartment feels very private but also like a home with large windows with a view! ♡Feels like HOME♡
I think the staff is great. Super friendly but when it comes to maintenance and the contracts they create with other companies and fees are not ok. I wanted to bring my own washer dryer so I did not have to rent theirs and they said I could not do that. Then I get to my apartment and my dryer will not work. They send 2 maintenance people out over a weeks time still nothing. Then I am told it was a 3rd party company that they lease them through so they could do nothing... even though I pay them for the rental and somehow they can schedule them still. How does that work? They are another company but u can schedule them???I am told that because of covid I have to wait a month but might get credit for the dryer. If you are like me I get once a week to do laundry or if I use a ton a clothes and cant get to it I do it once a month. Im busy and have a lot of clothes plus a roommate who has a ton. So why would I pay for a washer when I have to run to a laundromat to dry them. I dont like mildew smell and I dont want to drive all day back and forth to do laundry. Id rather either pay for the units to work, use my own which do work, or go to a laundromat and just get it all done. It makes no sense to me to do a load then run it down to my car to a place to dry them then back. I asked them for anumber i call because this was not ok. They gave me a number that was disconnected I called 3 numbers. When I called back all they said was u have to speak with ANDY.... who is this illusive person and why cant these issues be resolved lol. Sorry that was a rant but since I choose to do my laundry... wash and dry them.... get it all done, and not spend 2 days in the process, I should be able to do that. Id say just let me bring my nice W/D here and let me use that cause it works. I could buy a brand new w/d, the same brand, model and everything for the same price charged to rent them. Plus I could take them with me lol.. I like my front loaders which these are not but still could not bring them. Also the promotion they offered for signing a lease here has not happened. I was told Monday after we signed. It never happened and all they can say is that this is new... or they havent seen this before. Another response is that it will happen after 30 days. It never said that in the promotion. Also the trash is not sufficient. People go to the closest place and because we are near a street the dont put them near that to keep appearances. So for 96 units near the club house we have 2 green dumpsters. Even if you throw out only one bag a week. It will more than fill up those things. 2 days after they emptied it... it eas filled and the ground was filled so we took our stuff to families to throw away... I dont mean to rant and again the staff members are super kind and energetic.
These are really nice Apartments they do have a pool which is a huge bonus they have tons of parking so guests can always find a place they have good views and the grounds are kept up very well plus there are dots that wander around and its so much fun plus they allow pets
I lived here for one year, the carpet was mangled by move-in date and the screens for the windows were missing. Now they are charging us close to $500 for things they never provided. Unwilling to help rectify the issue. If you are moving in, make sure you record every minute detail.
I had the best experience with this property. The entire staff worked with me for MONTHS helping me with whatever they could to get me into an apartment. I would come in sometimes twice a day to talk to the property manager and he went above and beyond his job to do whatever it took to help me. And I love it here, it’s safe and clean and well kept. thank you to tadd for doing all you could for me and not rolling your eyes every time I came in with a new issue! You guys are the best!
We love the staff, neighbors and location. It is a pet friendly community and close to shopping, food and public transportation with plenty of open spaces near by. We have loved getting to know our neighbors during the pandemic and we’ve found projects we(neighbors) can all do together.
Ive finished my full year of living at Stillwater. I have never recommended an apartment complex so much to so many people. They are amazing! If youre new to moving out I HIGHLY suggest these! Theyre super affordable & even though you get what you pay for, its a NICE get what you pay for. Beautiful accent walls & good appliances. Maintenance & staff are incredibly helpful, understanding & better yet.. HUMAN. They dont treat you like a piggy bank. There are only small things that could be worked on but not enough to affect 5 stars. I will miss these apartments but Im so glad we picked Stillwater!
I love this community because of the neighborly quality of it. Whenever you out, everyone says hello and smiles. I have no fears of allowing my kids out to play in this community. Even though it is convenient to so much, the property provides place for kids to be away from the main roads. I love the animal friendliness! The staff has always been extremely helpful.
Great office staff that really work hard to make moving in a easy as possible. The maintenance is very, very quick to fix any issues and are great at making sure everything is ok. We have only been there for a few weeks now, but we have been very happy with the complex and staff. So far one of the best apartments we have lived.Edit: After living here for a few months the office staff are great at making sure the residents are happy. We have been really impressed with the maintenance team. The maintenance guys respond and fix any problem very fast and they are very professional. Any issues we have had have been fixed with in a few days. The property assistant manager is very nice and really takes care of the residents, for example we have our AC broke down, he had it fixed the next day and it has been great ever since. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good apartment to live in.
Get around this place! I have been living here for 2 years and it was a bad experience. Heres what awaits you if you live here: - 2 years of life with cockroaches and ants and PestControl cannot help. Dog droppings are everywhere, there is a lot of smell from it, dogs walk without leashes and muzzles. Last year I was offered to renew the contract for the next year and the price was $ 70 higher, we refused. Then we checked our apartment on the website and saw that it was $ 150 cheaper than the office manager sent us. This year they also want to deceive us. THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE! Last year my childrens bedroom was shot with a gun from a neighboring apartment and 2 walls were shot!
Stillwater gets 5 stars! NEVER in my life have I felt so peaceful when I come home. There is absolutely no noise and the residents are friendly and considerate. I sleep well knowing Im living in a safe place and I feel grateful that the office staff are so willing to address any concerns.
Such a fantastic place to live! Very pet friendly and the staff are extremely friendly here! The office is very friendly and all about doing awesome fun things like right now Im at the taco Tuesday night!!!:)
Great place to live, friendly staff and neighbors. It’s quiet and secluded. Close to shopping. The staff is accommodating and helpful. We’re glad to chose this for our home.
All of my problems were attended to on the spot.People are friendly and Im glad that I was able to move here.very welcoming.
Amazing community, manager and staff are great and very responsive. Maintenance staff is amazing as well! Always doing fun events for the community, and you can tell they really care.
I highly recommend these apartments. They are a reasonable price for the nice area they are in not to mention that they have some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen from an apartment complex. The staff care about the tenants and go above and beyond to help out! I had an unfortunate experience after moving here to Utah and Stillwater managed to provide an apartment on short notice and have since done an amazing job following up and helping do any maintenance needed. If you want something good in a nice area that isn’t overpriced with awesome staff, definitely consider these guys.
I love living here. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The maintenance staff is friendly always say hi and smile when I see them. The location is great, almost everything you need is in walking distance and everything else is just a short drive away.
I used to live here it looks like its the same. Its kept up well.
Lived here 5 years. Maintenence is fast. Management is decent to work with. (My wife knows more bout that)They try hard to make it a nice place to live.
The apartments and community are nice, however trying to get ahold of anyone at the office through email or telephone is a pain. On different occasions I have sent emails or tried to call in and left messages with no response. I understand with such a large community there is a lot to do and things can get busy, but I have made multiple attempts for different reasons over the time that we have lived here and expected some response. Unless I go into the office I can’t get ahold of anyone.
I am very impressed with these apartments. They are very responsive when I submit maintenance requests and are very friendly. There was a mess up on my move in date but they acknowledged their mistake and made a correction. I love the location, how the apartment looks, and the landscaping. They actually maintain and try to improve the property. I feel very comfortable and safe here.Right now my only recommendation is to have someone go around at night when the lights turn on and mark which ones have burned out so they can be replaced.
UPDATE: They just towed my car and refuse to help me. Run far away from this place. The management refuses to fix air conditioning. It has been over 80 degrees in my apartment for well over three weeks at this point and every time I inquire about the issue, they always have someone scheduled to come fix it on Monday, never giving me a date and never fixing anything. The management still has yet to schedule exterminators despite them telling me in-person that they would be coming to spray for ants and bedbugs over a week ago, again promising that it will happen on Monday.I have been paying for a covered parking spot for well over a year and a half at this point. I came into the lot the other night, coming home after an long and exhausting trip to find someone else parked in my spot. I spoke with management the day after and now the spot listed on my lease magically doesnt exist, and someone has been given my spot. This is after being told _in writing_ that I would retain my spot when they gave out stickers for assigned spots. My new spot is two times further from my unit than the previous one.Dont rent here. For a place that charges a baseline of over $1000/Mo, they dont act like it and sure as hell dont treat you like it.
Maintenance is great, friendly staff
We have lived here for 10 months now and I’ll admit the start was pretty rough, but only lasted a short time. They are very accommodating when needed. The staff is polite and they really care. Beautiful inside and out, close to shopping and freeway. Great location!
Love the location. Close to everything. Management is very nice. Pool is a nice amenity. Grounds are well maintained.
Ive had several experiences with this community and all have been positive. I will soon be a resident of Stillwater and am very excited to have interaction with the awesome leasing and management staff. My application process and notification was quick and pleasant. The community is very well kept, and Im excited to see how my pet respond to the ducks on-site.More reviews to come!!
They are really nice and the apartment is really big, and it has enough space for my whole family. I just love it here!
Love the location! Glad we could move in so quickly. So far so good! Only giving 4 stars because upon move in, there were a few broken things in our apartment that could have been easily fixed before we moved in. Also, the layout of our apartment is very interesting. Other than that, we love it!
Staff is friendly, maintenance is good when the office staff guide then the request. Most times you have to go in several times to get it done. The apartments are very small and lack storage especially for the price. Parking is limited. The lease states you are allowed 2 vehicles, but not enforced.
Love the ducks and friendly neighbors!Edit: I do NOT recomend living here anymore. The property manager thinks its cool to make fun of his residents on social media. This is not appropriate or professional in my eyes! I am highly disappointed. Also issues DO NOT get fixed here, just made fun of. So unless you like that kind of treatment. Find a different apartment complex.Edit #2: I have sent an email 7 days ago with no response. Is this how the company works as a whole? Nothing gets done anywhere?
He and my husband recently went in to view apartments and our experience was great We cant wait to move in August. The staff was friendly and the location is perfect. Only thing is the staff is hard to get a hold of via phone:)
The management here sucks. I applied and started to get everything set up to move in but on the expiration date of the application I tried contacting the management and they neither called me back or emailed me back the information I needed to finish my application. We left voicemail and multiple emails but none were answered. We ended up looking at the reviews and are glad we ended up not moving into the complex. I would not recommend.
I have lived here for almost a month and this complex is my absolute favorite (out of all the ones I have been at previously.) The rental process was very quick and the ladies in the front office are incredibly kind and very helpful. The front porches are large and private which makes my apartment feel very homey, secluded and personal. There is a charming duck pond that I enjoy very much as well. The apartment itself is a little older with the furnishings, but for me that isnt a problem. When I initally got the apartment, it was very clean and there were no problems in that regard. Aside from that, there have been some minor inconveniences. There is a lot of dog poop from people not picking up after their pets. I stepped in a pile while I was walking in the grass. Secondly, the outlets in the apartments are sub par and most things I plug into them fall out of the socket easily. In addition, the parking lots arent lit very at night either. Lastly, the shower faucet is very tempremental to say the least. It is difficult for me to adjust the water to the temperature I like so I spend about six or seven minutes standing in the bathroom trying to figure out how to make it work. (one inch to the left is scalding hold, one inch to the right is arctic ocean cold....and well, you get the point. ) But, despite this I really like it here. The area is great and the prices are decentm if not cheap for the area.
It really isnt that bad of a place to live at from what I have seen but I am writing this more so for my friend. He lives there currently and has had his car broken into while parking in the garage area. I know he has brought it up to mgmt multiple times but no response or no sign of action which is quite disappointing. I saw the complex is pretty adamant about responding to these so maybe they will do something. Seeing the apartments have a perk of living there but it being a place where you are guaranteed to be broken into with no action done is quite disappointing. Hope this gains some tread for it.
My husband and I have NOT enjoyed our time at Stillwater Apartments. The lack of communication and professionalism from the staff is appalling. And anytime we went in to talk to them we got nothing but snarky attitudes. They turned off our water with zero notice ahead of time 7 different times and it would remain off for hours at a time, the maintenance team only seamed to break things more than fix them, the parking situation is a joke, and they can’t seem to manage out of control tenants. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone and can’t wait to move.
The changes they have made in management have made a world of difference. They are kind, helpful, and the way they have been helping the community here during the pandemic is admirable. I was so frustrated that I couldnt wait to leave at one point. After the changes that they have made over the last little while I am happy here again and appreciate the great work they have done to uplift the residents here. I am fortunate that I am still working and able to work from home, but watching the care and help that they are offering others here and the way they are handling things now is awesome to watch. Great job to the office team!
Not great but not bad. Rent price is fair. Maintenance sucks big time, but this is the case at most apartments.
We moved in today and love it so far. Everyone is so nice
Its a good community, Ive lived here for 2 years going on 3 while I am saving up before moving to a house. Its a good group and I dont smoke or get into trouble with my neighbors, and live among plenty of people like that as well. I moved in when I owned a dog and it was a good fit, but I dont have our puppy with me anymore, but Im fine with dogs and being around dog people. We need good people in our neighborhood who take responsibility for thier property to keep this community strong, so if youre considering moving in, and want that type of environment for yourself or your growing family, this is an affordable option. I hope you will find you like it too.
Enjoyed most of my experience, clean and staff are friendly. Various layouts available and experienced, 2brm and 2 bath seems to give more livable space. Allows pets including large dogs. Close to various stores, restraunts, schools ect.
The employees are very nice and helpful...but if the jacuzzi worked it would be better.
I have seen this apartment online and went to the office to know more about it. I met with a happy lady who welcomed me with smile and explained to me all i needed to know about the apartment. Then i decided to apply and my application didnt take so long, which was something i needed. Then the process was very smooth, since the lady was helping me had more experience to help costumers and also good communication. Now i live this complex almost 2 months and i put service requests for couple times and they showed up almost on time. The only concern i have about this complex is the dogs and its wastes, which creates bad smell or uncomfortable for some people.
We have been here for 5 years. In those 5 years we have seen a lot change. We havent had many problems, we pay our rent on time, we obey the (though they are ridiculous) balcony rules. We mind our business. When we do have issues Taylor is on it and gets its fixed. It did take longer then I would have liked to get a new oven. It took them 2+ weeks and my husband had to eventually call them to finally get one! I hate the ducks & pigeons. They poop everywhere and lets not forget they are filled with nastiness! 😲 The parking area in front of building 6 is OUT OF CONTROL! Pot holes entering it have caused damage, its not ok that I can see the underground parking through the holes! Get some cement ready mix or what ever its called, fill the pot holes that I have tripped in, other neighbors have tripped in. The landscapers and worthless, why arent half of these trees cut down? They are touching power lines, causing the cement to bubble. Its not safe. Those pet owners that do not pick up there pets waste 😡 Stepping in it is no fun! Not to mention disgusting! What happened to breed restrictions? I dont mean to complain, however I just wish that sense we are paying so much I wish that some amenities were added or if we resign, our payment STAYS the same stop raising it if we stay!!!
This place isnt great, but it isnt terrible.Things that I like: the outdoor storage closet on the balcony, how quiet it is, its December and I still havent had to turn on my heat because my one bedroom seems to stay warm for whatever reason (its probably because Im on the third floor), I like that there is an area for my full size washer and dryer,Stuff that I dont like: At night, the parking lot is reaaaallllllly dark. Its almost as if there is no light in the parking lot at all. Ive almost been hit by cars while taking out the trash a couple of times and Ive almost hit a person.EVERYTHING needs to be updated. The appliances are just old. The shower creaks when you stand in it. It needs to be painted, unless you like the combination of yellowish and brown.I travel a lot for work and often times Ill come home after being gone for a while and it just smells musky. I dont know what the smell is, but I think its just old apartment smell.I like living here, Ive been able to make it my own space. Its more than enough room for one but as soon as my lease is up Ill be moving.
They look nice but the reviews are scary.
Update: when we moved in we noticed our drip pans for the stove were incorrect and made the burners sit at an angle. We have submitted 4 different requests (some in person, some through the app) to have them replaced. They just had someone fix them over a month past when we first asked about it. They brought DIRTY (probably used) drip pans in to replace them! Our theory is they took them from the apartment above us where we know someone just moved out.Just had my car towed from my ASSIGNED parking spot. Had to pay $80 for them to not haul it off. This place is a joke. I don’t know why they even get our vehicle information if they are going to let tow companies come in whenever they want to make a quick buck.
Ive really enjoyed living here. The management is generally, very positive and maintenance is responsive and always provides quality repairs. The spaces and floorplans are great and reasonably priced for the area.
Not worth the price, the hot tub has been broken for a year, and maintenance takes forever to respond to requests. Most people don’t pick up after their dogs and they spray the rocks on the parking area but not around the apartments so they drive the bugs into the apartments.
I have been here for almost 2 years and its not bad my only complaint is some people dont care to clean up after their pets.
I have lived in this apartment 3 months now, and I dont think its as bad as people make it seem. We have yet to have anything stolen and although the people seem to mostly be low income its not any worse than any other place weve lived. I like the landscaping outside, its nice to walk around and take my daughter out to play. I dont like that there are people smoking outside 24-7, since I have a young daughter and am pregnant myself. Its not too loud outside like some people say. The worst we ever hear is dogs barking. The management/maintainance is one of the worst parts. Whenever we have a problem we usually need to go to the office in person 3-4 times and talk to them about it before its resolved. Besides being inconvenient they have never charged us or given us any fees. Well see what happens when we move out. I am hoping they wont try to raise our rent on us.
Raised rent but nothing changed. A house would be nicer and better value.
Great place my daughter lives at
My husband and I have lived here for almost 4 years. Living here at Stillwater has been a very positive experience. We love living among other pet friendly people. As long as you communicate with management they will work with you and well sometimes they just cant, not their fault.Management has never treated us disrespectful or came across as uncaring. Keep up the good work and thank you for making us feel welcome every day we come home.
Weve been living here for about 4 months now, and we can comfortably say its been a good experience. I would recommend for anyone living in south salt lake/murrayTHE GOOD:Location: Excellent. About 5 minutes from both I-15, I-215, and the TRAX station. My wife drives to the U (about 20 minutes) and I take TRAX to UVU and its worked suprisingly well. Theres plenty of restaurants and a Maceys right across the way. Wheeler farms and Murray Park also within 3 minutes. I love feeling so close to everything.Staff: Also good. They have been very friendly and helpful since day 1. Straight shooters. No unexpected charges. Patient and willing to answer questions. Remembered us.Maintenance: We had a porch light go out, sent in a request, and I believe it was fixed within the next two days. Points for them.Price: Really good considering the quality of the apartment we have. We are paying a little over $900/mo for a one bedroom but it is leagues above what we had in provo. Plus a nice little deck area! While shopping around other places in the area they had the same quality rooms going for over $1000/mo. Still would like to be paying less but in this crazy Utah market we feel we got a great deal.Parking: Though a lot will complain about this, weve never had a problem. It is an extra $10/mo for a covered parking spot, and it happens to be that MOST of the convenient spots around the complex are covered. However, we have never had a problem getting an uncovered spot, though at times we needed to walk a bit to get home (just like two minutes). If you dont care to walk a bit, youll be just fine.THE NOT SO GOODJust two incidents:1. When attempting to finalize the contract. We could not get a hold of the office. We tried a few e-mails and calling every day for about a week and a half and (Its been awhile so I could be off) I think we got only two calls back during that time period. They were friendly when responding but man, it was a struggle to get a hold of them.I think there is only 3 office staff for 500+ residents, so I am going to assume they are just really busy. Hopefully they can get more help. I would just recommend if you need something to just visit the office physically. We were always helped relatively quickly when we did so.2. Weve had a sorta sketchy incidents involving a resident shouting profanities at another, though not violent it could have gotten to that point. Also havent seen this resident since so maybe they were evicted. Yay.Having said this, I can say I feel relatively safe around the complex. My wife and I have taken a few walks in the daylight and its been totally fine. I see lots of women walking their dogs at night so I imagine its not too bad. Cars have been fine. Its just incidents like these that just remind me to stay smart. Just dont be careless and youll be fine.Overall, great place, especially for us students. 4.5 stars. Would recommend.
Parking is a nightmare. If you have a garage spot you might want to rethink, no cameras in the garage invites people to break into your car. If they put cameras in the garage the parking problem would probably not be so bad. Also, our apartment came with cockroaches, so yeah, dont know why they charge pest control fees...
I love living here. Staff and maintenance are great and so are the neighbors
I dont know where to start with this place. First The entire complex is filthy, the garbage is constantly overflowing and isnt picked up for days after it should be. There are ducks everywhere and they defecate all over, stray cats run on clean cars and dog feces arent cleaned up. The duck pond is rarely working so the water gets filthy and stagnates. My second complaint would be my dishwasher. i have personally run vinegar and jet-dry through it and it still wouldnt clean my dishes. I then went to the front office and asked for maintenance to come check, after 3 days they came in and ran vinegar through it so it should be fine. When it still didnt clean dishes i asked if they could try again or replace the dishwasher the maintenance team left a note saying the dishwasher was replaced last year and should be in working order. I am about to finish my lease and have lived here for 2.5 years and the dishwasher still doesnt work.My third complaint would be the water. I have to soak my shower head in CLR every month or so to have good water flow and even then the water makes me feel dry.Lastly its the front office. They never answer their phones and i mean ever. I work the entire time they are open and when they dont answer it is impossible to get anything fixed, not that it would get fixed if they did answer. All in all, I would never recommend this complex to anyone. the rent on a 2 bedroom is almost 1000 dollars a month for this hell hole and thats before they decided to change the colors of the outside of some buildings and are now charging around 100 dollars more a month. Do not rent from here...... ever.
Stay in shelter -homely
Im very disappointed in the way milestone management has managed this property. Ive sent multiple pictures to office staff in regards to the many lights that arent working. Finally, myBoyfriend and I took it upon ourselves to replace some of the lights near our vehicles (vehicles have been broken into here, so it is a valid concern) also, there is an abandoned store behind us that was once a sports authority, making it even darker. Whenever we have a maintenance concern, it usually takes at least two calls, two emails, a visit to the office and sometimes weeks to have our concerns addressed. We recently had a wasp nest beneath our stairs, two emails, a phone call and a trip to the office later, the maintenance staff informed us they were out of wasp spray, and sprayed them with ant and roach spray. Needless to say, it wasnt very effective. We are constantly having to run up and down our stairs to avoid being stung, so we bought our own spray and took care of it. Ive also complained about the spiders (one of the monthly fees is pest control) theyve never once entered our apartment when Ive complained. So we bought our own pest spray, and spray inside and out. The air filters they put in, do not fit the AC unit properly, leaving a large gap.. So we also purchase that ourselves. Management is very frustrating, and maybe its a lack of staff, pay, or a combination of all. I will say, they did replace our dishwasher with a new one. That was nice. But it took several calls, and complaints before it was executed. Also, watch out for the overflowing garbage, and dirty mattresses that random people leave by the trash cans. I cant say this comes from residents, because Ive seen random people drop off truck loads of garbage that dont live there. I wont even walk my dogs near the garbage cans anymore, because I dont want anything tracked into my apartment. Maybe milestone should add more trash cans, and some signs? Maybe security cameras? Definitely more lights though. But they should make it a little harder for people to leave mattresses lying around. Theres a different mattress in the garbage can at least once a week. If homes werent so ridiculously priced, wed own a home by now, unfortunately this is what we can afford. Its just unfortunate that we have to do everything ourselves. And than the rent will still go up.
The neighbors and I have had several things stolen. The apartment staff could care less, they dont have any kind of security cameras for these apartments, so its a please come and steal what you want type of place. They have a security guard that is just there for show. while we get robed. This place is sickening. The staff is so RUDE. No manners what so ever. Do not move here.
The place is great but the parking is so bad that I dont want to leave at night because if I do I will have to park on the other side of the apartments. And if you park in the wrong spot you get towed.
I am going on my 8th year here and it the police ate here almost every other night it is to be a good place to live the last year or so it has been going down hill it takes for ever to get a hold of the office for everything that you need
I am here for 15 months now and at first I liked in here, until I started noticing the problems. We are always stepping in duck or dog poop. They dont clean the stairs or hallways, it is full of spider webs, pigeons poop and feathers. The pigeons took over the place, they will make a nest on your balcony and lay eggs, and poop all over. The appliances are way too old, the refrigerator in my apartment had mold all over it when I first moved in and I spent hours cleaning it. The dishwasher is a piece of sh** and often I have to rewash my dishes. They painted the cabinets with an horrible brown color that is already peeling. My neighbor had her bike stolen, and another one had her truck broken into twice. It is too dark at night and no matter how many times you ask them to change the lights, they won`t do it, or theyll say that they dont have the ladder to do it. If you have 2 cars it is a nightmare to find a spot for your second one that is less then 40 feet from your building. The pool is never open, and when it is, you may find a chunk of hair swimming with you. they shut down the water for maintenance without notice and they take forever to turn it back on, and it happens way too often. The dumpsters are always way too full and people have to put their trash on the ground. I had trouble with one noisy neighbor for over a year, and complaining with the office didnt change anything, thankfully this neighbor moved out. Also, the apartment gets too cold during winter and I have to keep the heather on 25/7.I am here yet only because I am trapped with my contract.
I have lived here since July and let me say its not worth it, look elsewhere. We had our sidewalk in front of our apartment flooded by sprinklers everyday, the ducks loved it but it was unusable for over a month, I put in work order after work order and no results til I emailed the company that owns the place, then they give you a crappy worn down terrible apartment the cupboards are painted and have holes in them, the countertops are literally breaking, theres still swampy areas in front of the apartment, its all not worth the money. Then they call you and warn you they are going to charge you a fee for so called documentation that your not cleaning up after your service dog even though your walking to get a bag at the dog station which has no bags the majority of the time. The garbage are over flowing all the time looks like the hood literally. You diffently cant get maintenance to fix anything and the office just tells your in line, been 3 weeks without a dishwasher. And you can expect to see maintenance people sitting in a golf cart playing on their phones majority of the day. I have a friend that literally saw them sitting in the same place for over an hour on their phones. I lived in apartments a long time and this one takes the cake. Least at the other places maintenance actually fixed things within a week. So dont expect much from this place, i cant wait to move. Id give them zero stars if it were an option.
Excellent place to live! I love the atmosphere and the management is awesome! There are some undesirable quirks, but all in all its a great place to live.
Moving parking spaces after been here yrs.And they dont do the work orders promptly
Thanks to the Management team there at Stillwater they make looking for your home much more pleasant.
Horrible place. Water heater went out within one month of living. Maintenance knocked over and broke our t.v. and the management basically called us liars. Theres extra fees on the bill that were not expected and there will be extra fees when you move out. Do not move into here unless it is your only choice. Look at other apartments. They do not want to keep you here expect your rent to go up at the end of your lease.
This is a great place to live. Thank you to all the staff.
A fordable, convineient, location wise and excellent service maintenance. Very friendly employees who go out their way to help to cater to your needs.

Not the worst place to live. But not the best either. Just be careful as you select.
