I have had to use them twice and made my appointment....only to WAIT in line while they waited on other people who did NOT have appointments! Just what I needed, an extra 45 mins of wait time only to leave my new lap top for 3 days and not to have my issues resolved.Why make an appointment?

They did a great job of delivering our refrigerator ON TIME and without damaging our home. They clearly described how to set up the fridge and what to watch for as it began cooling. Their professionalism FAR exceeded our actual movers!I highly recommend them for appliance delivery.

I have noticed that no one ever responds to these negative posts which is unfortunate.I have been given the runarounds of confusion on Geek Squad Protection. At first I was told that I have Protection, until 2025. Then get told that my Protection expired a few weeks ago. Keep in mind that there has been on going issues with my Dryer since I have had it. Which each time a repair is needed, they continue to waste time on getting the Dryer fixed which seems to take a lot of effort. The Representatives kept giving me conflicting information been going on for a week now. Would be nice to talk with Corporate or Management to get this problem rectified. Hopefully, I will get a response and help from Best Buy. Probably not though.

Horrible experience. No one that works there knows whats going on, they dont keep up with important notes for services, and they dont communicate with one another or with outside manufacturing companies with which they do business.All I needed was a data back up to be done, and then my laptop keyboard to be fixed. I was told the back up would be done and then the laptop would be shipped to the manufacturer to be fixed as it was still under warranty and that it would take two weeks. A week and half later I called to check in on things because I hadnt received any notifications or updates as they had said I would. The guy I spoke to on Wednesday said he didn’t have any notes on if the data back up was completed before it was shipped, as I had requested so I would have access to my work while they had my computer. He said because there were no notes and the external hard drive was gone, he could only assume it was shipped with the laptop, which, according to him, had already been shipped back from the manufacturer. He said I could expect to come get it that evening or the following day. I didn’t hear anything after that, so I called Saturday morning. I was told that my computer had not been shipped back and they didn’t know why the guy on Wednesday told me it had been. I was also told that their notes indicated that the manufacturer had requested to speak to me several days ago but no one had notified me. Attempted to call the manufacturer, but they were closed on the weekends. Finally spoke to someone on Monday who told me that in the two weeks they had had my computer, nothing had been done because the name on the ticket (mine) didn’t match the name on the account (my brother’s). When I went down to the store to see what could be done, I was treated very rudely by the manager on duty who admitted he had no idea what was going on because there were no notes anywhere, despite the many different people I had spoken to over the past two weeks. He said he could create an account for me then send another request in which would take another two weeks, so a total of four weeks without my laptop for a simple keyboard issue. He stormed off into the back after saying he needed to gather more information, but I had no idea if I was supposed to wait or if I could leave, and he hadn’t even told me his name so I couldn’t call after him.I’m extremely frustrated with my first experience with the geek squad and I hope to never use them again. I wanted to cancel everything and receive my money (for the data back up that wasn’t done) and laptop back, but was told if I did so the manufacturer could refuse to return my laptop. I don’t understand how they can threaten people with that, when I own my laptop outright and don’t owe any payments since it was covered under warranty.

Today I was treated in a racist way for being of Latin appearance, this happened with the technicians on duty in the area of ​​technical service by appointments, they made me wait half an hour in a line in which I was the only one, then when they I counted my problem and showed them my case number did not even verify my appointment or my appointment data they just left me waiting there to tell me that they did not have a solution and that it should be apple who answered me, the funny thing is that apple sent me to This store is supposedly certified and qualified to give me a solution, which they refused, and when I went to look for security people and asked to speak with the store manager, the service employees were seen making fun of my frustration when asking For a solution, they made fun of my English that is not 100% fluent and in my own face. The worst experience lived in a store.

Very rude customer service and unable to fix broken phone screen after an ON PHONE confirmation was made. Drove an hour to this place and let the customer service know that only to find out on arrival that they didn’t have the right supplies. Will not be going again.

When I bought my new PC, they asked if I wanted to have my files moved over from my old PC. I said yes; since I had a bunch of movies and software I wanted to keep. About a week, and $100 later, they only moved over some temporary files, and some txt files. I go back, and confront them that they didnt move my files. They respond; saying that they cant move over (pictures, music, video, and programs) since they might be copyrighted, and proceed to ignore me till I leave. Basically I paid a $100 for absolutely nothing.

Im having a car audio install done today with notifications being sent to my email along the way updating me. I get there, the tech didnt even know I was on the schedule for today. I was charged a crazy number for the wiring and install, I THOUGHT!! The tech called back to inform me what Ive already paid was for installation of one amp and some wiring but they would need an additional $250 to complete the service. I would advise that whoever rings your services up that person be present on the day of the install to cut down on some confusion. They are confused about whats going on and too busy trying to sale you a bunch of stuff that you could save money purchasing on Amazon. I must say Nick the installer was very knowledgeable and a true professional throughout this entire ordeal.

Im glad some people have luck with Geek Squad in the Best Buy store in the Boro.....Well I have nothing good to say about these folks simply because I have Geek Squad coverage on my phones and the Manager of Geek Squad basically called me and my wife liars....so with that being said Ill never buy anything else from that store and its a shame I had to even give them one star....!!!!

I am very disappointed in the geek squad service that I purchased on my washer/dryer. Called them for a repair three different times and each time, when the technician call right before coming over, all three of them said that they were the delivery guy and not the repair guy. They all asked that I called back to reschedule with a repair person, until my warranty went. Anyone who might be thinking about getting the geek squat plan, please don’t, waist of money.
