Martys shop is by far the best mechanic shop anywhere 50 miles around Murfreesboro. I go there for all my automotive needs. Brice and Marty always take care of whatever needs done for a fair price.

Having car issues is never fun but landing in the hands of these awesome guys was such a blessing! My precious genesis was in real trouble last week and within 2 days I was back on the road, reasonable prices for parts and labor. Also very thorough and honest. My car broke down on the highway they are located on. They were so sweet and very respectful. I was scared, on the verge of tears, and shaking. The nice gentleman told me it was ok and to not worry. He told me to sit in the air conditioning and it will take a little. They kept me updated on timing and what was going on. Very much recommend them and the shop. Amazing place.

Tried to charge 1000 just for cam solenoids and 1 hub bearing. Ordered parts was 140 for both and solenoids was a 10min fix only 2 bolts smh. Very shady.

Best price on tires I have found. They do great work for a reasonable price.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that Martys Automotive has an F rating with the BBB. Beware! This is not an honest business. Martys charged me $205 for a Denso O2 Sensor (S1-B1). The $205 did not include labor. You can buy the exact same sensor at the parts store or Amazon.com for $84. They also installed parts (at a 30% markup) that I did not authorize and would not take back.

Best kept secret just outside Murfreesboro. Reliable straight-shooting honest mechanics — not joking, these guys are good. They’ve got all of my future business for all our autos. They won’t up-sale you things you don’t need, nor fix things that aren’t broken. When you get your auto back, it will have been fixed. Very highly recommended. Solid 5 stars.

Corey is bad a$$. He’s very thorough, professional, fair and very helpful. He’s worked on my car 3 times (because my car is very old and I refuse to give it up) and he has written me down a list on what needs to be fixed next so when I can just bring it in and he’ll be able to fix it right up. I’m super thankful to have met him and the crew. They can fix any and everything. Please bring your car to them you won’t regret it.

Be prepared to be swindled if you go to this establishment. I went to replace timing chain guides on my wife’s Ford Explorer, was informed by Jim I needed a new engine, after a long swatch with no luck, we decided to cut our losses and buy another vehicle. I went to pick up my car and engine they pulled out only to be told they threw my engine away!! This makes it very hard to sell since I have no engine for a core and all the upper end components are gone. Marty’s offered a engine from a different vehicle as a resolution; but again, does not help our cause..I NEVER TOLD THEM TO THROW AWAY MY ENGINE!! I NEVER AGREED TO THAT!! They still had the audacity to charge me FULL PRICE for just the labor..now I have a vehicle without an engine..no engine for a core..and $600 less in my pocket..beware of this place..my advice..keep driving Dow the road from this rip off joint

I went in thinking I needed an alignment and they caught a much bigger issue! They were able to squeeze me in for an unplanned repair. And were upfront with timeline and pricing.

I highly recommend them. My son was traveling to Indiana from Georgia and the differential blew in his truck. We were not with him but we searched on the internet for a good wrecker service by reading the reviews. My husband found Barretts Garage & Wrecker service and we decided to go with them. After they came to get his truck Jonathan took it to Martys Automotive to begin the repair. My husband spoke to Jimbo who took care of us and his truck. Do I think they overcharged us... I dont think so, they knew we were basically stuck and could probably have overcharged us but they didnt. They were nice, thorough and had his truck done as quick as they could. They did a great job! Thank you Jimbo for taking care of us and our sons truck. We appreciate it very much!!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. VERY SHADY. Took my car in to have the water pump replaced and came home with a blown engine. Charged me 1100 dollars for the water pump and was told the engine would be another 2500. Engine was not blown when I took it there. Very bad experience.

I dont know what work the other reviewers had done, but we bought tires from these people on 2 different occasions. And the 1st time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But now know they are SHADY. Anybody that know me know Im small business owner supporter 1000%. Because I own one myself. These people quoted $40 per tire over the phone instead of the $20 per thier sign outside was advertising, He said I had 22 inch wheels is why the pice is different & if I paid with cash he would do $160. I said cool lets do it. Got the tires on my truck and the owner said that will be $320 @ checkout. Whoa! I said you quoted me $160. We went back and forth he said I remember that conversation give me the $160. Two weeks later I call for another tire quote on my wifes little VW Beetle, I asked do you have 205/50/16? And how much for two used tires. The guys said $20 a piece as the sign outside says and $42 cash for both. I say mounted & balance? Oh yeah just come by well take care of you. I send my wife by. Tell her how much they should be.. They put the tires on and same as last time tell it will be $92.00 dollars. She says take the tires off and she will just go some where else. Per my wife the guys says it will cost the same amount or just about for us to take the tires off? Lol... Yeah the Memphis side of me wanted to go by and talk this out with them.. After calling them and the guy lying over the phone to me. My wife thought if would be better for all parties involved if I just wrote a review instead going by.. This VERY BAD business fellas your word & service is all a business has!!!

I have used this shop twice lately. My F150 started running rough. Stopped by ORileys and they said a coil pack was bad. I purchased and replaced it myself. This did not fix my problem. Stopped by Marty’s and Jim just listened to my engine and said when coul pack goes bad usually fawls the spark plug. Put a spark plug in. Runs great.2nd Trip-F150 air conditioning problem. Had been told by Qualty Auto that I needed compressor. I knew for sure this was not the case. Jim diagnosed and repaired my air for just over $100.00.
