They are always amazing. Mai usually does my pedicure, and she is always so nice. If I want something added or needs to be communicated I just type a message on my phone and she is glad to help make the experience the best she can. Julio usually does my nails, and the hospitality and professionalism are perfect. They remember your past conversation, and remember you even after a long pandemic! I dont go anywhere else for my nail (finger and toe!) needs.

Here from out of town and was in need of service. Hot nails was close and had an opening for both my sister and myself. Not listening to my Neice advice ( she said there’s 1 person that works there has horrible service). I booked an appointment anyway and she was right. I needed a manicure and pedicure. The lady did not buff(remove dead skin) from my feet. After she finished my nails there’s was still dirt underneath my finger nails plus she did not polish them all the way to the end. I let the feet go because they weren’t bad but not my nails. The owner correct the nails issue however she did lie and said that they never buff the feet. Another employee stayed they do. Never going there again.

Always love my nails here....they are soooo nice and you can ask for some beautiful designs. Lai is AMAZING! They will work with you to make sure you leave happy and love your nails too!

I have tried quite a few salons in Lake and Mchenry counties and this is the best. Quick, efficient, if you want quiet theyre quiet, if you want chatty they will be chatty. Staff is personable and gentle. They arent rough on your hands. Also owner knows Im a server and use my hands all day so she always does a little extra time on the hand message they do at the end .

Only giving this establishment one star because Julio is actually really nice and REASONABLE. The owner of the salon is a total wretch! I came in today for my first time ever, hoping it would be good because my roommate said she had a good experience. The owner (small asian woman) did my acrylic nails and they did NOT look good. I had her fix them a couple times before adding the polish, and they looked fine. She puts the polish on and the nails were extremely thick and lumpy. I told her I why I didnt like them, asked them to be removed and that I just wanted no chip and she starts to BERATE ME and yell at me telling me that shes going to call the cops, saying that I think Im going to get away without paying? (In front of other customers, I might add.) When I never said that? She continues to threaten me and forces me to pay, has Julio start removing them and then yells at him not to give me the no-chip because shes not going to deal with people like me. I have never felt so insulted or threatened in a NAIL SALON and I have certainly never been yelled at by anyone in one either. I have been getting my nails done for YEARS. I filed a police report against the merchant because this behavior and treatment of customers is UNACCEPTABLE.

Ill start by saying Kelly is great and did a phenomenal job on my no chip manicure and pedicures for 4 visits in a row! I was super excited to find a place that does such a great job a few minutes from home. Unfortunately on my last visit I had a few nails chip 4 days after my manicure. The owner told me to come first thing in the morning to get them fixed so I did. They were already busy and I could tell she was flustered. She was extremely rude and short with me, seemingly irritated that I was having them fixed.. I tried to explain that Kelly was great and its probably just the nail polish. She quickly scolded me for blaming the polish, it was a very strange experience. She spent literally 4 minutes sloppily painting the broken nails and then didnt say a word to me and left to start on another client so I assumed I was done and left. So unprofessional to be rude to a repeat client because they are coming to have a service fixed. I will not be back.

Great salon! Family business. Everyone was lovely. Julio did a great job with my nails- recommended a great color that I was looking for. They do dip which is hard to find around here. My nails are in perfect shape 3 weeks out. Will be going back for sure!

Amazing!!! I’ve been coming here since Nails Now switched ownership and I’m never disappointed! Staff is super friendly, they help me choose between the 10 colors I usually have in mind (bc I’m super indecisive) and they always get it right. Owner is rude and disrespectful.

I was looking for a new place to get my nails done so I walked in and someone asked what I needed. I said I need a gel fill and then was told rudely that they were booked for the day. No one asked if they could schedule an appointment at a later time..no thank you..in fact no one even looked up to acknowledge me. Certainly not a place I would ever consider in the future.

Went in on a Sunday late afternoon needed a fill and no chip polish. They were great. The nicest people you would ever meet. Love my nails, they did an excellent job. Im from Arizona and now I have a place to get mynails done when Im visiting!

The people are very nice and they have a wide range of colors, but pricing is very unreasonable for a job that wasn’t done well. I gave them a second try for acrylic nails and the lady doesn’t know how to shape. I asked for coffin and got ovals instead. I had to reshape them myself. It ended up costing $45 for one nail polish color and the bad coffin shape. They also took my moms card without permission after she placed it on the table she was assigned so, she wouldn’t mess up her nails, to charge us. For her mani&pedi it cost her $40 and it started chipping the next day. I understand the virus going around they had to up their prices, but they aren’t set up to their quality of work.

Amazing service, the sweetest owners, quality results, great price. What more can you want? Hot Nails is wonderful and my go-to place for nails and waxing. I love Cindy to death!!!

I have never gotten my nails done worse than this! I’m so angry I wasted $47 at this place. I asked for long coffin nails don’t know what I got but it’s short and round with a flat top. She flew through them and didn’t even cut them or make sure they were even. My hands have never looked more awful and as soon as I left I got them removed and spent another effing 60$. Save your money do not step foot in here.

No stars is what this place deserves! Nails started lifting the day after my daughter got them done! Paid 40 and owner had the audacity to tell my daughter well, at least you enjoyed them for a few days

Did a very sloppy job on my gel nails. There was gel on my skin around my nails for days and parts that had big glops of nails underneath nail. Shop was very run down and not very clean looking. Also had no nail color samples to look at to pick out polish. Hatd to see nail color on gel polish bottles. Very disappointing and wont go back.

The owner here is always so caring! I am a forever customer here, they do my nails perfect every time, and majority of the time I ask for crazy colors and designs!

The staff was very nice, However the level of service was terrible ! They overbook themselves and rush through nails .I get my nails done all the time and this was by far The Worst service I have ever recieved ! Not only did the fake nails look sloppy and grown out after being done, but they all fell off within a week !! Fell off ! I have never had this happen to me before !My toes look like they have ripples on them and the candle pedicure is a rip off . I didnt get the extra massage that i paid for or the warming lotion!They were so busy they swapped between people, i had 3 different people work on me because only one person knew how to do the entire service while others did bits and piecesI am extremely dissappointed and Definitely would not recommend and will never go back .

My first time coming here because I was looking for a new nail place close to home.Walked in first time and ask for a simple no chip fill with 2 different color and the owner was very rude and said she cant do that only basic stuff and if i dont like it she dont want me to get mad at her.I was so confused because it was basic 101 nail polish not design..a silver base with pink french tip .Doesnt take a rocket science to do that.She didnt seem like she wanted to help me because maybe I was new.But I should of known better becuase it was dead when we went in.Very rude owner.

My daughter got a pedicure and everything was great. I got a full set and it was terrible. She left a bunch of acrilic under my nails the nail polish was poorly done. Very disappointed.

My regular manicure was glossy and perfect and lasted 9 days before chipping on the edges

I just got went there yesterday to get my nails done. The people there are beautiful inside out, and I love my nails!

Payed $50.00 + 10.00 tip(because she was nice) for gel no chip nails and started coming off a day after.....I went on sunday for a full Gel Set.it might of been rush hour because the lady that did my nails looked like she was on a hurry. i think she was the owner because she had the bluetooth on to answer all the calls.before she starts doing my nails she pulls out acrylic without asking if i wanted gel or acrylic so i point it out & nicely gets gel out and starts doing my nails. nails looked nice but one nail came off monday afternoon after washing dishes. So i say okay is just one nail no big deal i can just go back and get it fix.tuesday morning another one and wednesday another 2 . so i decided to stop by today(thursday) & i said i came 3 days ago and my nails are coming off. she then said you just woke up and they fell off and laughed..then she said can you come back later im a lil busy. i was going to go back but i thought if she is going to use the same material no thank you. so decided to take them all off and i was surprise how easy they came off within a minute i was able to take the rest off. Definitely not going back !!!
