Excellent customer service, from both the call-in center and our technician Jim! Prompt service, was able to fit us in earlier than originally scheduled. Problem with our fridge was fixed quickly, at a very fair price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Matt was quick to diagnose the issue (refrigerator was not cooling). The problem was with evaporator fan. He replaced it immediately and was meticulous in cleaning up and doing the job right. I felt that he was quite knowledgeable based on the pace at which he was doing things (not rushed by any means).The company was also accommodating as I had to reschedule couple of times. Quality work and good value for money.

Could not recommend any higher! I had a 25 year old built-in fridge that quit. Despite a potential loss of $1-2000 for them on a repair, they spent a ton of time explaining why I was best served not to go with obsoleted replacement coils they had spent a ton of energy trying to find at my insistence, and rather buy new (forgoing their services).All 3 guys I spoke with had decades of experience with the confidence to tell me what they did know and the humility to tell me what they didnt.These incredible trust-building qualities are so rare! THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES IVE EVER DEALT WITH!! THEY ARE RUDE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE CRIMINALS!! ON 8/19/20 THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY ICE MAKER. ON 9/8/20 THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO REPLACE THE PART AND I PAID $306. I TOTAL I PAID $365. THE ICE MAKER STILL DID NOT WORK AFTER THE REPAIR AND CONTINUED TO MAKE A LOUD NOISE THOUGHOUT THE DAY. I CALLED THEM TO CAME BACK OUT TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. ON 9/17/20 THEY CAME BACK TO MY HOUSE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WAS TOLD THAT THE PART WAS BAD AND THEY NEEDED TO ORDER ANOTHER NEW PART. ON 9/29/20 THEY CAME BACK TO MY HOUSE HAS CHANGED THE PART AGAIN. IT STARTED MAKING SOME ICE BUT NOT IT NO LONGER MAKES ICE AND I HAVE AN ERROR CODE er 15 THAT WAS NEVER THERE THEY TOUCHED MY REFIGERATOR!!! I CALLED THE COMPANY TODAY 10/1/20. A MAN ANSWERED THE PHONE BUT NEVER GAVE ME HIS NAME. WHEN I TOLD HIM WHAT WAS GOING ON HE STARTED YELLING AT ME AFTER I TOLD HIM THAT IF THEY CANT FIX THE PROBLEM THE NEXT TIME THEY COME OUT I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! Not sure why they get such high ratings because they seem incompetent. We called them a month ago (maybe more) when we realized our dishwasher was not draining properly. They came out a few days later and charged us for the “repair,” which basically was to clean it out. We realized a couple of weeks later that they had not fixed the problem. We called them back out again and the technician seemed a little stumped, but he thought we needed a new part that he said would arrive more than a week ago. We questioned their expertise and they blamed it on our (higher end) dishwasher. Funny, because we never had problems getting it repaired by others services before and this is our second from this brand. When we didn’t hear from them, we called and were told it would be another few days. We are still waiting to hear from them. Meanwhile, not having a working dishwasher for a family of 5 for about a month has been extremely burdensome, to say the least.

Amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an appliance repaired. My LG dryer broke and they were able to come out within an hour to fix it. Although it ended up being several different issues and a few more days, Jim and Alex worked tirelessly to investigate the issue and were able to fix it! If you want courteous, professional, honest, and reasonably priced repairmen then call Jim and his team!

Weve used Absolute Appliance Repair for our home and rental buildings on numerous occasions - Jim has fixed our washing machine (agitator wasnt moving), a fridge ice maker, he was even able to take apart the door on our double oven to remove the drip marks between the sealed glass. The service is great and Jim is a dependable guy. He has become a staple in the Palatine area for appliance repair. Cant say enough!

I have used A Absolute twice now for my commercial dryer in a rental property. Everyone there is friendly and professional. The first job was replacing a faulty timer. The repairman came back several times to check and readjust the timer until it was working perfectly! The next job was during the holidays, and we had to order parts. They made every effort tho get my machine up and running as fast as possible! These guys are great!!

Rip off. They charged $59.95 for service call, which is not bad. Then, the stove igniter replacement costed me $180 for a 10 min job. Before scheduling the appointment, I called them asking how much do they charge for replacing the stove igniter, she didnt want to provide the quote on the phone, but upon insisting, the girl said it may be about $75. This is a complete ripoff. Not going to hire again.

Bob came out and found that my ovens control board needed replacing (on an oven that no longer is made) The board was sent out with an estimated turn around time of 2 weeks. Bob was back at my home in one week...earlier than anticipated. I will continue to use A Absolute Appliance Repair Mundelein for all my appliance needs.
