I have been battling weight all my life. Growing up I was never encouraged to exercise.Almost two years ago I started on a journey of taking better care of myself. Three days a week I get up in the AM and head to Fitness 19.I am not a in shape person and at first I was very nervous about hitting the gym. I have never once felt uncomfortable. Every employee has been amazing. I feel so welcomed there and it makes me WANT to go to the gym.The gym is small, but never really crowded (at least when I go). There is plenty of cleaning spray bottles available. If I am on the bike I can typically find one of the TVs that has something interesting to watch.So why the 4 stars? Well I have really short legs & my PT person has told me to stay off the ellipticals because of the stride length. He recommended I use the Arc Trainer. There is only one and lately its being used so I always have to have a plan B and that is disappointing because the machine is AMAZING!$10 - $20 per month this gym is an incredible value, I cant recommend it enough.Now that we know that obesity is a big factor in COVID illness its so important to get our bodies moving more. If you are battling the weight like me, just take that first step and come to this gym. I started doing 15 minutes of slow walking on the treadmill and now I am working my way up to running 5 - 10 minutes at at time...my goal is to run the MLT 5K...You can do this, take the leap and make Fitness 19 your gym.

Love this gym. Its so clean and has great AC too. Equipment is in great condition and I rarely see anything out of order. Neat showers and locker rooms. Friendly staff!

This gym is so clean. I have been and worked at plenty of gyms and hands down this is the cleanest. There is always someone making sure everything is wiped down. The machines are spaced out perfectly so you’re not hovering over someone. I’m new to the area and I don’t regret becoming a member at FITNESS 19.

Local gym that badly needs better management. Go there and understand that you will be hard sold into a contract, and if you want out you will have to jump though some hoops. Some of the trainers are great, but they aren’t supported well enough so they don’t stay long and turnover is high.

Had a membership to this place for over two years, but had to cancel because I moved. Great gym, friendly staff and plenty of equipment. Prices are completely fair compared to other gyms. This is certainly a locals gym with good management!

Reasonable, no frills gym prior to COVID. Unfortunately in the Covid19 era patrons are not wearing masks and congregating in non family groups. Buyer beware, when you try and cancel you have to give 30-60 days notice, you will be charged for an extra month.

Signed up for a membership when COVID restrictions had lightened up and looked forward to coming here since it was smaller than other gyms and the front staff was friendly - however, I was horrified by the lack of COVID protocols being enforced. Coincidentally a week after, the Governor issued that non-essential businesses close at the end of November and this gym showed me how much they prioritized profit over the safety of members. I drive by this gym every day and there are always folks inside.On top of that, they havent suspended monthly billing despite the fact that they.. should not even be open. I wish I could go in to end my membership but who knows what Id get from the lack of social distancing or mask wearing here?

Small(er) but VERY well equipped gym. Everything I personally need and them some for significantly lower price than other gym franchises.

This gym is conveniently located by my home, it is small and has enough equipment to work out. However, when you want to cancel it is a huge hassle, and with recent COVID restrictions should not be open. Patrons/Members are not wearing their masks while working out and not socially distancing.Another thing to take into account is how difficult they make it to cancel the membership. One of the biggest frustrations along with the lack of not following the COVID restrictions.

Best Policy I Look for Is Honesty!Getting charge for a membership that I never agreed upon or signed contract for To Me thats Not the best Policy! Spoke with one of their representatives the deal given to me over the Phone was $29.00 that was their special for Labor day weekend, Gave Him my Cc information to secure Their Special But was not supposed to charge Till we meet in person and Go over contract! It did not happen the way it was Planned, Yet instead of charging $29.00 He Charged Me $44.00 the same day without a written contract, I called the very next day to cancel Membership that I did not agreed on made me go to Location to signed a canceled slip just to wait for 30 to 60 day before getting refund for something I did not agreed To! Just thought I would share My experience with Fitness 19! Best Policy is to Be HONEST!!!Best 💚💙

Fitness 19 is incredibly cheap. The all access gym membership is something crazy like $15 a month. I forgot what it was exactly because I canceled my membership a bit ago. If you pay $20 a month instead of $15 a month, you get unlimited access for yourself, plus unlimited guest passes also.They have 1 full size squat rack, 1 half size squat rack & 1 smith machine. They also have a dead lift platform and the dumbbells go up to 100lbs. Theres a bunch of treadmills and the steppers as well.Theres an agility area in the back, but theres no locker rooms. Theres a changing room and a bathroom and a babysitting area if you bring your kids as well.

Good neighborhood gym with everything most would need. They could do with three or four more pieces of traditional equipment but overall great facility. Staff is really nice and wants you to feel welcomed. Decent power setup with a basic platform and two cages.

Great experience and on going; ever since I first signed up, great environment, always clean. The dynamic is perfect for anyone whos looking to get into the gym and grind out the work youre looking to get done, equipment stays functioning and all the employees are super welcoming. Id recommend this gym to anyone and everyone looking for a new gym!

Has most everything youll need, just giving a low rating due to many patrons walking around without any face coverings and not following distancing rules. Hard to enforce when only one person is working and not caring. Wish they would enforce guidelines a little better. Looking at alternatives if they dont start.

This gym is amazing, affordable, I like the music and people who work there. Its clean and not too overcrowded. I like to do the laundry the next door, so its very convenient for me. I have maintained my weight instead of losing but thats ok. 😂. Im working on that. I would recommend anyone to come this gym.

I have been a member at Fitness 19 for about a month now and I absolutely love it there! The staff is friendly, and energy is great! I always feel very welcomed when I arrive. They have very good rates for membership as well as personal trainers. The gym is very clean and there are many machines and workout tools to choose from. My trainer Liz is fabulous! She gives me a variety of workouts and is excellent at making sure my form is perfect. I’m already reaching my fitness goals; thanks to her on her sophisticated workouts.

My mom told me to base my opinion on how my kids feel about the places we go, so when the 4 year old has a tantrum about leaving after being there for 2 hours you know its a good place. No real judgement feelings from others and not super busy at that time of night either

Great price I paid 22$ for 2 months..its got enough weights to get great workouts! The guy who works there Vernam is very helpful he helped me when my lock broke to my locker...the urinal was broken the entire 2 months tho and I never saw it fixed at all so only giving 4 stars ..its the best price for a gym in the area for sure

Didnt message me a single time while they were charging me, I had moved and forgot about it thinking theyd stop charging me after 6 months of not going, that was my fault. I tried to call and cancel, they made me go down to the location in order for them to stop charging me, then had me sign something saying Ill pay for another month in order to cancel my membership, standard practice but its BS. So I didnt pay and so they added a $10 late fee to the original charge and now theyve been harassing me, calling me every other day during their work hours leaving messages and emailing me every day, I blocked their number so they started calling me from different phone numbers. I do not recommend this place, Ive been to other gyms and they had few strings attached. Staff wasnt friendly even when I was going either and there were few machines, would give 0 out of 5 if I could.

Both the recreational and the team programs have coaches that are very knowledgable and exceedingly encouraging. Their facility is GREAT too.

An excellent small gym with good trainers and equipment. Be aware there is no locker room, lockers are available on the gym floor. Come dressed to work out.

Fitness 19 is a very well run, clean helpful and encouraging environment. The staff is top notch, knowledgeable and engaging.

A gym for someone that wants to work out and doesnt need a dayspa. Free weights are plentiful machines are well organized. Clean and friendly with a helpful knowledgeable low preasure training staff.

I highly recommend this gym, no one else will be able to match the quality of staff, affortibility and feel this gym gives you. Evan, Rochelle, Jaykob, Brady, Drew, Mason and Chason are excellent staff, the community they have at Fitness 19 in Mountlake Terrace is great! Keeping it personable and always especially welcoming!! Highly recommended!!

Cardio equipment is always down. They only have 4 upright bikes and at least 2 are always broken.

I cancelled my membership a while ago when the place started going downhill..no more staff at front desk, and never saw anyone cleaning the machines like I did when I first joined.I stopped going over time and ended my membership, but they continued to charge after and I had to have my bank start rejecting all their charges.Why am I writing this review so late? Because my wife ended her membership mid last year and we just noticed that they started charging us again last month. At this point I dont think I can give them the excuse of lazy bookkeeping or an honest mistake, and after seeing all the other reviews reporting the same thing it seems they do it on purpose. Thats just bad/shady business.

Joined on a special 19 dollars a month, i paid first and last month. Charged 46 dollars a month and i had to pay an extra month and dues for January even though i gave a 30 day notice ripped off
