Our company was looking for a creative, do it all under one roof, knock our socks off video production company. One that could act as our creative video department, since our internal capabilities were struggling to even get projects out the door. Demand was growing at a pace we couldnt keep up with. It was a mess. We needed a company with international location production experience, local studios, and financial backbone, as our procurement folks had a long list of requirements of their own. We needed commercial TV cinematic quality, quick turnaround, and amazing results on limited budgets. Basically, we needed excellence, and we needed it now.We sent out an RFP and received replies from 20 production companies. And we whittled it down to just four, all of whom wed done business with previously. We asked them to show us examples of their work. They were all quite good. But the Transvideo folks had already produced (17) of our top (20) performing launch, overview and marketing videos. And they did all (17) at a cost less than the combined cost of the three videos they didnt do. Our procurement folks just looked at us with this youve got to be kidding expression on their faces. We all agreed and selected Transvideo Studios as our main video production vendor.That was five years ago and we are still using Transvideo today. Sometimes they are pretty booked up, so plan early. Most of the videos theyve done for us were in the $20k-$60k+ range. But they just did a quick interview for us on one of their soundstages, with a few hours notice, for like $600. Our CEO feels comfortable there. He told us the parking was easy, so thats that. They do no advertising that I can see. It seems to all be word of mouth. I noticed only one other review on Google Places (btw, I think they produced the Google places launch video too), so I hope this helps introduce them.
