We recently used Mountain Home Heat and Air to install a new unit. The price was very reasonable. The time turnaround was great as well. They had a very tight install for the new unit and the new duct work to be ran. They acted like it was nothing at all and got done in record time. Would recommend them at any time.

I can’t say that I’ve had a better experience with an HVAC contractor than I had with Mountain Home Heat and Air. From the professionalism received by their administrative staff, when I initially called, to the installation performed by Justin and Kurt. You’re never left guessing where they are in the process because their communication is excellent. They completed a complete gut and rebuild our our duct and installed a new heat and air system. They have great attention to detail and they made sure the project was thoroughly cleaned up once completed. I will be using them going forward for all of my annual services.

Doesnt return calls and wanted to replace my unit rather than fix it. Very slow about working on it and told me as soon as they seen the unit before ever opening it up he didnt like it. Ill use someone else next. He didnt fix it.

I am very disappointed in the way there employees act it is bad when a driver get out of his van and start swareing at a 75 year old man that did nothing wrong to the driver he said he pull out in front of him but did not he was mess up we had plenty of time to get on 5 Noth he was speeding up even say that he got in the dich but not all he did was honking loud and we were all reddy going well on 5 north very well but still honking loud his van was in the road the whole time he even got so mad pass us when car in the turning lane we stop before he hit someone in the trun lane and we drove down on 5 north to go home and got to were there working on the road he stop like everyone elsemiddle of the road on 5 north come running out of his van start yelling at a 75 year old man for nothing cussing him the whole time and to me I dont think that they need to let this guy even work or even drive he has a very serious problem and I have everything on photo of this so I do not recommend them to anybody if they got such a rude and rude and dangerous drivers out there they need to do background checks on these people

Mountain Home Heat and Air took really great care of my husband and I! We had to get our unit replaced, and they were out here in a matter of days getting us fix up! The owner, Kurt, was such a joy to work with. His staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be using them in the future! It is so nice to have a company we can trust.

Had 2 units installed on our home and while I cant speak of the amount of electric yet I can tell you that they do as well as any heat pump system that I have ever seen. Installed by the best. We are very happy with the choice we made at half the cost of a regular heat pump. One unit was an 18000 BTU and the other a 24000 BTU for the equivalent of a 3 1/2 ton system.

Highly recommend Mountain Home Heat and Air! We had a brand new install needed and Kurt and team were able to very quickly provide us with a very affordable quote and were super fast at installation and getting us up and running! What a great team and so friendly. Check them out!

Fantastic company and they did a great job replacing an old self-contained heat & AC system. They did the job on-time and only took a few hours. The owner, Kurt, even came back to install a programmable thermostat for me just because I asked for one after the install.

Ive had a home here for 50 years and have dealt with service techs from nearly every trade. This time I worked with Kurt from Mountain Home Heating and Cooling. My experience was what you hope for but rarely get these days in a service call. He was actually early, but called to ask if that would be o.k.! Because I wanted to know, he explained what hed be testing and what the results would be if the components were functioning or failing and what he suspected, so I was confident in the repair. He didnt pull any surprises on the bill or his assessment of my aging system. Professional and honest!

These guys came out to look at our heater and were very nice, respectful and knew what they were talking about. Our heater had quit and needed a new one. They set up a time that worked with our busy schedule, they were on time and did a great job, tested the unit and had us warm in no time. They left everything clean. We will definitely use them again!

So I called Mountain Home Heat & Air and was interested in a mini-split unit. Justin came out and took a look at what I was wanting to do and sized me correctly and didnt try any sales pitch. Very honest & upfront. So i pull the trigger on this thing and Justin called me when the unit came in and asked if they could install it the next day. They showed up a little bit earlier than they said but thats a good thing! A few hours later the unit was installed very well where the line set comes into the building is very clean and looks very nice & professional. Kurt gave my tenant training on how to use her remote and cleaned up after they was done. My tenant said they were very polite and very professional. We are both very happy and satisfied with their service. Will be doing business with these guys again! A+ all the way around

I just purchased a new home and I knew that the package unit needed an inspection. Kurt and crew arrived at the my house eager to help. Kurt completed an inspection and advised me of the concerns he had. I asked if he could show me the issues and he took the extra time to pull the unit apart and point out the concerns he had. He was very professional and yet understanding. I have no background in HVAC and yet he helped me understand the concerns. It didnt take long and his concerns became mine. The old unit was at its life expectancy. Kurt explained my options and within the week he had a new unit at the house and installed. I had a water leak somewhere around my kitchen soaking the decking into my crawl space. I called a local plumbing company. They sent out a tech that stayed on site for over about an hour. The plumber left saying the water on kitchen floor was from my HVAC system in my crawl space. He also stated there was no leaks in my plumbing system. He said I should call an HVAC guy to fix my HVAC system do to condensation. Water was still dripping in the crawl space and floor was wet to touch when he left. The plumbing company still charged me for a service call of 1.5 hrs.I called Mountain Home Heat and Air the next morning. The appointment was scheduled for 1 pm. They called me back 45 mins later saying they had an opening come up and Kurt himself showed up 15 mins later. He was able to find and isolate the water leak under my sink within 30 minutes. By the time he left, the water drip in the crawlspace stopped. He went above and beyond his scope of work. It is so hard to find a person like him these days. I will never use another HVAC company. The best Customer Service I have seen in a long time. Kurt Lawrence is awesome!

We were gone for a week and came home to a hot house. Called them at 7:30 am and they were out to the house by 9:00 am and fixed the problem. That is what you call good service. We have used this company before and they are always prompt, friendly and professional.

Have had this company work on my old out dated system and they have always been able to keep it running, now that it can no longer be repaired they will be installing a new system for me. Always had great service and quick to get problem resolved.

Nearly ran me off the road today, yes I pulled out in front of him, but I had plenty of space and sped up to keep up with traffic. He proceeded to speed around me in the other lane and forced me to slow down and let him in front of me to keep him from hitting my vehicle. It was very petty, dangerous and makes the business look bad. Why would anyone want to hire someone so reckless to work on their home or business?

I cant say enough good about this company and the young man that came and helped me....(Service/Sales tech Justin). I have been without air for almost a month, had several companies out here weeks ago and all they could do is try and sell me a new unit. I reached out to the company today with my hot, sad story and within the hour, the service truck pulled in my drive. Within minutes this young, WONDERFUL, man told me it is on and running. I about fell out of my chair as I had no idea of how I was going to replace my unit, as told by all the companies before. Long story short.......there was no power going to it; the breaker had tripped out on the electric pole panel; because wires inside were not properly tied back away from heat wich had melted through the insulation on them and was causing it to short and THROW THE BREAKER!!!!!!!!! I had been LIED to by everyone trying to take advantage of me except this young man and this company. I had estimates from $5200.oo to $9500. What a Blessing to have my air back on in the September Arkansas heat and a Blessing to have gotten TRUTHFUL, HONEST, CUSTOMER SERVICE.

These guys are amazing our ac/heat unit went out we called them they got to it as fast as they could we had to replace our unit and they did a fast and great job also after the a/c was on for a few hours my son went in his room and there was water leaking from his ceiling fan and my husband went in attic to see what was going on he couldnt see so we called them back after just leaving and they was right back in about 30 mins and fixed the problem and nothing was ruined such great people very happy with our serice thank you Mountain home Heat and Air 😁

Justin was great. He came and explained everything to my husband as to what needed to be done which was to seal the ducts, fix some holes and a few other things. We then scheduled an appointment to have this all done, a week before the appointment I came home and smelled a musty/moldy scent and called to let them know in case they needed to bring something additional when they did our service. Justin came the next day to do the service (a week early) so we did not have to deal with the smell. He made sure everything was fixed, sealed and in proper working order.This is a very professional company and very customer friendly! We will be using them indefinitely!
