My Apple iMac computer recently crashed and was unable to boot. I brought it to LaptopMD and they helped me through the whole process so I could save all of my applications and files and transfer them onto a new refurbished computer that I found and bought to replace it.Mike helped me through numerous phone calls on what the best plan of action would be and to make sure that my new refurbished iMac would be compatible.LaptopMD transferred all of my files and applications onto my new computer and it works exactly the same as my old (now crashed computer). This was extremely important to me as I run higher end music programs and applications (some of which are difficult to reinstall because of software updates and different operating systems through the years).I was shocked that I didn’t have to reinstall any programs or applications myself. They get five stars for NOT fixing my Chromebook. I took it in because the charging port wasn’t working, expecting I would need a new part. Instead of charging me $100 for a repair, they showed me a secondary charging port that I did not know about. Very honest company.

It took about 2 weeks for them to repair my laptop. They diagnosed my computer with a battery problem, which I agree. But after replacing it, they did not return my old battery and my computer still does not work. It took even more days only for them to say I have to buy another computer. They said theyll call me for an update, but not once did I get a phone call! Even more waiting.....A complete waste of my time, and not once did they update me and I had to call them myself. Ill be taking my computer elsewhere because apparently logicboards are beyond repairable, but a quick google search shows that it is. Dont go here and go to actual professionals.

I had no idea they worked on cell phones here also. Its the second time Ive bought my phone in and its cheaper and faster then going directly to Verizon. I also see the difference in the customer service here . Everyone is really nice, polite and helpful . They also know what they are talking about . They serviced my iPhone 6S earlier this year. The job was done in about an hour and the price was extremely reasonable. Without this repair I would have needed to replace my phone. Glad I gave them a try and recommend it to friends.

Hard to give a true rating because they did not ultimately fix my computer. So 3 stars just based on what I did experience.. I dropped my Apple Laptop because it just stopped working at the 1 year mark. They said they would look at it and get back to me. 3 days later, they say its the power supply $400 to fix and give then 2 to 3 days. 3 weeks later I get a call, its not just power but motherboard add another $200. At that point I just took the loss. Seems like they are very nice there and very busy. Always something going on when you go in the store. Anyway, I would go back to them for sure, but never to Apple.

Over 6 weeks wait just to be told it was unrepairable. No updates the entire time unless I called. Pretty frustrating and felt like the repair guy was in once per week. However they don’t charge if its unrepairable so 3 stars since that’s a good policy.

From the initial phone call to the repair, I had a great experience with MIke at Laptop MD when I recently needed the glass of my iPhone 8 fixed. It was the 3rd place I tried to find in the area, and was the first to actually be answered by a human being, a kind one at that. Instead of needing to make an appointment days away, Mike was able to take my phone in that day and had it fixed in about what felt like less than a half hour. I hopefully wont need there services again any time soon but would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. :)

Needed to get my Iphone X screen replaced. This place offered it for a fair price. ($300 if you get it replaced by apple) Upon getting my iphone screen replaced the first time it started malfunctioning. Luckily enough this place offers a 30 day warranty and in case you dont have a receipt they have everyone in there computers for proof. Just tell them your name and they can see when you were last there. I go back get my screen replaced for the 2nd time and now it is in perfect working condition. Highly recommend this place and I usually never write reviews but this deserves it.

Had a great experience with Laptop MD on Rt 24 South today! I cracked my iPhone screen 😫and needed a quick, reasonably priced fix. For the iPhone 7 it was $79 (Staples $130), Best Buy ($150)! For $10 extra I also had a screen protector put on. Mike was super nice and professional- and the whole process including cleaning the dust off my phone and phone case -20 minutes. I will definitely go back - as per Mike they do diagnostics for free and also accept items to recycle.

We have taken our iMac there a few times. They are very responsive and helpful and also very reasonable. They recognized it was our hard drive and replaced it and when that went bust they replaced it. They definitely know Apple products!

These folks told me that an issue I had restoring QuickBooks was not repairable by them and put the ball in my court. Found another provider who fixed it completely in about 3 hours. Also, I had to continually call (after being told they would call me when computer was ready) to hear oh yeah, its ready. Some customer service, eh?

The hinge on my laptop broke and the screen was about to completely snap off so I had to get it replaced. First I brought it to best buy and they said it would take over 4 weeks to repair it and wouldnt even give me a solid price. I took my laptop here and it was fixed in exactly a week and only cost $200 which is about what I expected and well worth it. The employees were so kind and extremely helpful and tolerant of all my phone calls asking when it would be done haha couldnt recommend this place enough.

Friendly staff but ultimately, did not fix my computer. My Lenovo ran super slow paid 200. Still super slow.Edit: A week after getting back my laptop, LaptopMD called to check on my laptop. I explained that my laptop was still slow. They offered to check it again, but I had already exchanged it for a new one. They refunded me in full. After some research I learned my laptop had overall bad reviews for being slow which could probably only be fixed with some hardware upgrades. I wish while diagnosing they had explained my laptop would still be slow, but I am grateful for the refund.

Update:After the review I was contacted by the regional manager. He asked me more about my situation and got back to me with a solution. The issue he said was that my logic board was so damaged that they could not figure out how many GB of RAM it originally had. I took my laptop in to get fixed and just got it back yesterday. Works great and now has the original 8gb of RAM.I emailed them twice months ago with no reply. The motherboard was replaced and my original computer ram was 8GB. The replacement was 4GB. I did not figure this out until months later when I did not have enough RAM to use video editor software. They have done work before for me and it was okay, but this was not okay. Very UNPROFESSIONAL to do this and not replace it with the same amount of RAM.

I brought my gaming pc in because a fan made a grinding noise upon booting it up.I dropped it off on a Saturday and they said Id get a call by Tuesday. Tuesday comes and goes, no call. I call them back the next day to check in, and they say theyll call me that afternoon. They did not.The following saturday, I call them and they say my computer is ready. They said they booted it up a few times and found no issues and cleaned my pc, so they didnt charge me.I boot my PC up, and my fan immediately makes a grinding noise. I went into my system to check the bootup history, and they only booted it up a couple times an hour before I came to pick up.

I went to LaptopMD as a last ditch effort to fix my iPhone after apple was going to have me ship it in to them for a minimum of 400$ repair fee. Turns out it was just a defective screen. Told me 50 dollars to fix the day before then told me 130 dollars when I got there. Same scope of work. The man told me it was a different person I spoke to but he had a distinct accent the the same on the phone the day before. I hadnt mentioned that he told me it was 50 dollars the day before until after he told me it was 130. Than he just looked at me with a blank stare and became very nervous.

I’ve been in twice recently, three weeks ago to have my Mac worked on and viruses removed. Then again today to have the cracked screen on my iPhone screen replaced. As usual, both times Laptop MD was a pleasure to deal with, helpful, did the repairs properly and quickly and is fairly priced.This part of my life is SO much simpler since I started going to Laptop MD!

I had a very good experience today with LaptopMD. Michael was very helpful, responded to me quickly, and fixed my son’s phones for a fair price. Upon picking up the phones, I stood outside because of two customers being helped inside and according to the sign on the door if two customers were inside they preferred for you not to enter out of precaution of COVID-19. I was then disappointed & uncomfortable when the gentleman working (not Michael) was not wearing a mask. Maybe he normally does and forgot, however, I would have felt better if he was wearing a mask like customers entering his workplace were expected to do. On a good note, the phones seem to be working.👍

I got an iPhone 8 screen replacement from here. The quality of this screen is horrible! The screen is barely responsive, which results in poor typing and swiping. 3D touch does not even work either! I do not recommend getting a screen placement here!

Typically cheaper than getting it repaired through the retailer. Theyll always be honest with you as well and if its more cost effective to get a new product theyll let you know.

I have used this facility several times (business and personal) over the past 2-3 years, always with very satisfactory results. They are quick, honest and their repair work holds up. I have not always be satisfied with others I have tried in the area but these guys are very good and very reasonable. They can handle PCs, Macs, Laptops, smaller devices. I recommend them to all my business contacts, family and friends.

I called to see if I could get my phone screen changed on my iPhone 11 . I was told it would get done while I wait come by, no appointment.. I waited 30 minutes outside, I go for my phone. Then he asked me to wait another15-20 minutes. Then he I was told to wait another 15-20. I realize he had put other customers before me. Prob cause I asked if it was done to many times. After spending a hour and 150 dollars I got my phone back. The screen times out and the touch function stops working though the screen I still lit. It’s is often unresponsive while on plus I don’t think he did a great job. It was a 10 minute rush job. I felt like I was rushing him but in reality I was just expecting it to be only 20 minutes. It’s my fault I thought it was something I could do on my lunch break. I had a better experience in Oakland the last time I did a phone screen. Just some FYI He’s busy enough he doesn’t need additional business

Brought my laptop in the morning by noon they called to let me know what was wrong with it and the price to fix it. Then a few hours later I received a call that it was fixed and could pick it up, and by the way the laptop is running better than it was when it was new ! I will definitely be back if any of my electronic devices ever stop working again.

Last week I had my Windows Laptop issues where the screen would pixelate randomly. Tom did a thorough check and checked all connections and a detailed test and assured me that there is nothing wrong, perhaps just some loose connections that he tightened.I have been there before for iPhone and Mac, and they are prompt and honest and I highly recommend anyone.

I brought in my Dell laptop since it hadnt been functioning at all since I last ran an update. Laptop MD+ gave me a same day free estimate and then was able to fix it in about a day. I thought the price was fair and the service was very friendly. My laptop now seems brand new! I would definitely go there again if I had any computer or phone problem in the future.

Ive broken plenty of phones in my day, and over the years my mother would take them here for screen repairs. When my latest phone screen broke, I took it in myself. He did not have the screen for my Google Pixel XL, which didnt surprise me since its a couple years old. The gentleman said when I was there he ordered it, and I paid $80 in advance. When I called next day, he said the screen had just been ordered that day, so it wasnt received yet. I was confused because he had said it was ordered when I was there, but maybe it was a miscommunication and he meant it had just shipped. When I paid $160 in total, I dont find it unreasonable to expect next day shipping, but it took three days to receive it. My friend went ahead and brought it in to be repaired while I was working that day, and its worked perfectly since.One star lost for the slow shipping despite the price. Also, the service leaves much to be desired. To put it nicely, the gentleman who assisted was blunt, monotone, and quick to end conversation. Perhaps thats some peoples cup of tea, but when in a customer service field, I do not appreciate that sort of approach.But hey, the job was done, and done well. Thats all you really ask for.

This was my first experience with Laptop MD. My old Toshibas power connection broke off, and took part of the case with it. I started to make repair myself, looked on-line and saw how far into the components I would have to go, how may screws etc and decided to give Laptop MD a shot. They gave me an estimate right away, had it finished the next day. Everything as they said. Thank goodness I did not try do the repair myself.
