This was my first time ever getting a rug cleaned and after doing some research I found Wells Rug with great reviews so I decided to go there. After waiting 2 weeks for the rug to get cleaned (totally fine), I came home to unravel a crusty white, stained (dried up detergent) rug. It appeared that they missed a step and totally didnt rinse the rug after washing and they just let it dry. I called the place and they happily asked me to come in to fix the problem. I was impressed with their willingness to correct the issue. I was excited to bring home the rug the second time around but to my surprise my rug now had plenty of faint yellow stains on it. The rug is ivory and silver, so very noticeable. I didnt bother calling this time as I just dont want the rug to be further ruined. While the crusty detergent is gone, I now have a yellow stained rug on one side. Not the greatest experience but giving 3 stars for accepting the rug to get it fixed the first time.

I just received back my area rug from Wells Rug Service. From start to finish I knew I found the right company. They were knowledgeable, on time, priced well and so professional... all they wanted was for me to be happy! Eric was great!

Would have given them a zero if I could. Cleaned my rug and ruined it. When I had them come out to look at it. They basically said I was lying and told me I had to prove to them the rug was ruined by them. Ask them how I would do that. The rug was clearly damaged it was stretched and the rug that had multiple patterns and colors was turned into a simple brown rug. I asked what they were going. To good about it and they said nothing. We clean thousands of rugs and you ruined rug is not going to change that. Don’t use them and if you do take pictures of your rug before you do. Absolutely horrible experience ruined an 8000 dollar rug and could not care less

Amazing service, amazing work and pricing is very very fair!needed an area rug cut down, I could not find anyone to do the work -was told about Wells so happy to have found them ! In 1 week my carpet was cut, the edge was refinished and it was cleaned! They are wonderful!

Took in 6 well-used rugs including several hand-knotted pieces. Ab Fab! They were returned more beautiful than the day they were born! The kitchen rug was so clean you could eat off it! Our 95lb puppy can do no harm -- as long as we have Wells Rug Service! Been extremely satisfied for over a decade and a dozen rugs!

I would highly recommend Wells Rug for cleaning of area rugs.....I had a heritage handmade wool rag rug and old dhurri rug cleaned and they came out as good as new. I did have an issue with the binding service I received for each rug due to lack of explanation about what and how the process of binding would effect the rugs.....make sure you ask questions.

We just had a large antique rug cleaned by Wells and a pad made for it. The combined price was nearly $1,000, which seemed like a premium price. Although in the past they seemed to do a good job, this time the fringe came back damaged. They claimed that they noted the damage before they started cleaning the rug, but they didnt contact us to ask if we wanted it repaired (which they did on the last antique rug we had cleaned). They agreed to fix the damage, but when it was delivered I noted that the new fringe was a different color than the existing fringe. The delivery person started arguing about the damage and that we should be happy that it was done for free. He accused us of dropping off a damaged rug, notwithstanding that we had a photograph of the exact area in question taken days before dropping the carpet off with them that showed the fringe intact. The delivery person was the most disrespectful delivery person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We will not be entrusting any rugs, valuable or otherwise, to this company in the future.

Rug completely destroyed from moths. Sent it to get cleaned and a few weeks later we noticed holes and moth larvae, most likely from an infected truck or facility. Company took no responsibility.
