As of August 2021, 18|8 is the only haircutter in the Morristown area that offers full, comprehensive COVID protection for patrons and staff. Everyone in the place wears a mask, and thats what I wanted. This was my first visit, and my stylist, Lissette, was delightful. Skilled, warm, professional and fun. My hair looks great, like it hasnt since before the pandemic. I am sure to return, and I will ask for Lissette in the future.

I have never been to a nice mens salon before, so I was not sure what to expect but the experience was great! I chose 18/8 because Im getting married in a couple months and wanted to try them out to see if I would use them before my wedding. I worked with Lissette who understood my situation and gave a great haircut! I will definitely be going back to them before my wedding to make sure I look my best!

I took my 12 year old son to this mens salon. Unfortunately, he recieved a very bad hair cut. I decided to call the salon and ask if they can correct his hair cut. The owner called me right back apologizeing. She recommended Gina who gave my son an excellent haircut. She has been cutting his hair ever since. She has very good technique and knows exactly what my son likes. I would recommend Gina to anyone.

This was my first time here; Flo made sure I was more than comfortable, gave me fantastic advice on my hair how to better keep it styled. Great conversation with Flo and I will be back! I finally found someone to trust with my hair!

As the mother of a 10 year boy who takes him to this men salon, I am very pleased with the service. This was the 2nd time I’ve taken my son there because he was very pleased with his haircut done by his stylist, Lisette, at the first visit. She is very nurturing to him. She talks to him, asks him his thoughts on what he would like his hair to look like and cuts his hair very nicely. She treats him like a little man which I like. It’s a great establishment and I love that I can schedule his appointment at anytime on their app.

Each of the three stylists Ive been to were terrific. They take their time and make sure you are happy with your cut. The shampoo and got towel are a nice touch.

My first haircut since March and my first time at 18/8. The service was excellent from the reception to my stylist Vanessa, who listened to my explanation of the style I was looking for and delivered it. A professional salon and superior to your average barbers. Regarding COVID-19, they are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of both customers and staff. Overall a very relaxing experience and Im extremely pleased with the quality and look of my cut from Vanessa, most importantly my wife gave it the thumbs up.

Im a Morristown native but knew 18/8 from living on the west coast for five years. When I came back to New Jersey to work remotely, I was excited to see these guys in town. Perfect place for my post-quarantine haircut. It had been a solid three months since I last saw a barber, but Lissette did an amazing job. Couldnt have been happier. I now have the best looking hair at all my Zoom meetings.

A step above your typical barber shop, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a wonderful staff that made me feel welcomed. I was greeted with Jennifer who was my stylist, she has some awesome reviews, so I had to see what the hype was about. I was not surprised by the great hair cut I received because I could tell that she really knew what she was doing.. finished off with a hot towel wrap and I completely felt like a new person..188 is my new favorite place to go and get cleaned up and I’ll be making my next appointment soon

Super easy online booking. Great service selection. Elegant design & calming atmosphere. I need more style than a barber can provide without going to the mall and being in display for all to see as you get a cut. I was easily able to park, grab lunch at fun spot and then pop in for a cut all before parking meter expired. Maybe replace the soda with a Corona and Ill find a way to give this 6 stars.

Great ambience, has retro- restoration store look, all in good taste. Staff is quite professional and very accommodating. Asks you if need anything to drink before you even sit down. Jennifer is a great hair-care expert. Fast and very precise! Excellent to talk to as well. She is quite considerate and listens to your preferences. Not only did Jenny provide one of the best cuts Ive had in a while, she also made my son comfortable, relaxed and happy throughout his cut as well. They take very good care of you here and the salon is very comfortable. Great reception, excellent waiting area with tv, magazines, coffee, and comfortable seating. Really nice. My haircut here is top quality and I always feel like I look really pro after leaving here.The location is super convenient in the downtown Manhattan Wall Street Area.

Coming back home for the holidays i was looking to try a new barber shop. Eighteen Eight: Fine Men’s Salon was exactly what I was looking for. A high end experience worth every dollar. The haircut was sharp, the staff was full of great people, and they really pay attention to the fine details. While waiting, food and beverages are available and nothing is better than the warm towel presented at the end of a haircut. Truly fantastic experience!

I visited 18/8 for the first time this week. Being new to town, I was looking for a new shop to get my hair cut and after reviewing the many local options settled on 18/8 due to proximity, focus on men’s hair, and overall reviews.I made an appointment online with Dan. The reservation system and online tools were excellent and made it very easy. The shop is very nice and comfortable and my appointment began right on time. Dan was very easy to work with, asked questions about what I was looking for, and delivered a very nice haircut. He took his time and along the way was a good conversationalist.Overall, a very positive experience and I will be a return customer.

This was first visit and it wont be my last. The place is super clean. The receptionist check me in and let me know my stylist was on her way. My appointment was for 10AM and the stylist (Jennifer) arrived at 10AM and took my to the back to get a gown and took me to her station. I purchased an executive shave and cut. The whole experience was relaxing, Jennifer communication was excellent and we made sure we were on the same page. I am very satisfied with the service and already booked my next appointment

Very nice Salon! 18/8 has set a standard! It’s nice to see all salons very similar. That being said I had a good experience. Tina was very pleasant, however the scalp medics treatment was not he same as other salons. At my previous 18/8, a couple of hot towels with a relaxing massage after each towel. I almost would fall asleep. Here, there were no towels used but rather a palm comb that was not as relaxing for me.

My first hair-cut at this establishment was very pleasant. A quiet environment with just the right amenities (free WiFi available of course while you wait). No fuss, no mess. Just a professional hair-cut by a friendly hair stylist. Mine was Jennifer. I would definitely go back.

This was my first hair cut in 18 months and my first trip to 18/8. Upon my arrival, the host was very nice and welcoming offering me a beverage while I waited. My stylist was Jennifer and she was extremely pleasant and personable to work with. Not knowing exactly what I was looking for, I shared a few ideas and photos of what I was thinking and Jennifer perfectly executed the look. While there the atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxing (not stuffy and uptight). I will certainly be revisiting 18/8 on a more regular basis for maintenance & upkeep.

Staff was very pleasing and attentive. Before they get to cutting they ask about hair type, style and haircut preferences...The whole works before they get to business! My boyfriend was very pleased with his hairstylist, she listened to every concern about his hair, how he would like things done, and she did a very neat job with his style. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! Awesome job.

Great experience. Ask for Jen, she gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had. Front desk is really helpful as well, I had a discount at a branch that had closed but they were able to transfer the discount over quickly and hassle free. Cant recommend enough.

I’ve tried easily a dozen or more hair salons that claim to do men’s hair cuts. It’s shocking that even in the pricier salons men will be given the worst stylist in the place. I have had huge clumps of hair neglected during a hair cut. Then when I have requested a recut of the offending area I am met with arrogance. I had one well known hair salon charge me a $30 gratuity for a $35 hair cut. Really?18-8 is a breath of fresh air in a market of virtual ineptitude. My stylist was Flo, like the hurricane. She knew exactly what I needed to look best and them accomplished same. This hair cut is worth every penny including what you will pay to park your car. (Park in the garage in the back-very easy walk)

This was my second visit. Nice looking place. Clean. Friendly staff. But I didn’t like what happened to my beard. I just wanted shaping but it was trimmed so short I just ended up coming home and shaving what was left off to start over again when it grow back. Very disappointed. Won’t be coming back, and now I’m a bit gun shy about ever letting anyone do work to my beard. Bummer.

Recently visited 18/8 Mens Salon in Morristown for the first time. Great experience. From the moment I arrived to the time I left, the staff was friendly and professional. My stylist Joanna was wonderful, explaining various options and approaches to the cut and style. The best haircut and style I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone.

Used to be broke, between jobs, car trouble...pretty much down on my luck. Came into 18|8 Fine Mens Salon for a Classic Haircut with a Hot Towel Finish. Soon after getting this fresh new look and confidence, I received an immediate VP job offer on LinkedIn, the car dealer gave me a 7 Series loaner vehicle in lieu of my 89 Civic, and somehow I had six figures deposited in my checking account through a glitch in the bank system (same thing that happened in Superman 3, I think). Nothing but positive vibes from this place! Definitely recommend!

Ive never really spent more than 20 bucks on a haircut before so I decided to spend a little more on this place. It was 40 dollars for the mens haircut. But because it was my first time, they gave me 10 dollars off :). When my appointment came I was taken by Vanessa. I hadnt a great idea of what I wanted, so I have her the general idea. She took it and did a great job. Even dried my hair to ensure the final result would be what I wanted. I never manage to find a decent place to cut my hair, but Ill be coming back here.

Josh is a great Barber. He will take his time making sure you get exactly what you are looking for and will give you his two cents without pushing any ideas on you. Very precise and neat, can’t ask for more.

I came across 18|8 as a walk-in and had a fantastic experience. Jenn provided a professional and efficient cut that received a number of compliments (from some very tough critics)! And the hot towel at the end was NICE.

The only problem with this location that I can see is parking (I didnt have issues on either of my visits, but if it gets busy I can see this being an issue). If you work/live in Morristown, this location is very convenient to the square. I used to visit the location in Burlington, MA when I lived up there, so when I was in Morristown and needed a haircut, it was a no-brainer.

I had a great experience at 18|8. I was a little apprehensive because this was my first time at a new salon in many years. Distance was the main reason in changing Salons. The staff was extremely courteous. I showed the haircut I had previously and Johanna was able to match it perfectly. I feel confident in going back to 18|8 for my future haircuts.

So, finally decided to get a haircut.... Lets skip over the part about it being slightly too long since my last cut.... And, living in downtown Mo-town, I decide to try out 18|8 - Treat Yo-self, my inner voice said. Looked like a nice place from the website, so I booked a time online (super easy!) and headed over about an hour later.I was greeted by the cutest girl on the planet, and before I could propose marraige, I was wisked away to an awesome waiting area, with chairs that appear to have been constructed from old airplanes and stolen royal leather. (Sorry, Vegans - I didnt see any animal free seating options). I literally only had moments to enjoy the chair, when Jennifer lead me off to fix 7 weeks of hair neglect....Jennifer was awesome. My hairs have never looked better, and rarely have had as much fun getting a cut - and Im pretty sure I was invited to a pool party before I left.... In short, great haircut, friendly place, and good atmosphere.Thanks, and see you soon for that cleanup! 💇‍♂️
