I have used Direct Insurance for four years with no problem. Over the last several months, they have not been able to get it together to take my payment out of my acct. automatically, and I have to call them every time, go through a lot of phone time to get that payment withdrawn, invariably, a few days later, in the mail, I get a notice of cancellation. This has been endlessly annoying and time consuming. Each month I am assured I am now on auto payment with my debit card, and every month it happens again! I m assuming they no longer want my business.

I had direct insurance for a couple years when I had my old car and they were great, they used to be cheaper and they were so nice but when I bought a new car a month ago, i called them to set up insurance before I left the lot, and they were very rude and disrespectful and then raised my insurance by over $150 a couple weeks after I set up the insurance without warning or reasoning and they said it wouldnt change. I cant even believe it. I was able to find insurance elsewhere that was seriously almost $200 cheaper. They are just scammers now. STAY AWAY

Gone up $10 every six months. No accident, no tickets just because they can I suppose.I have had policy for 2 years and every time I make a payment its called a renewal. Just because you pay every 6 months you have to renew the policy. Why cant you just pay the bill and go on till the next one is due.They also charge for this renewal. $15.00 . Since I have had policy 2yrs thats $60.00 for nothing plus they have went up$10.00 every renewal thats another $30.00. Thats $90.00 for nothing. The initial payment not included they have got me for $135.00 besides what I pay for the coverage. Its a shame what we have to go through sometimes.

Phone experience was great but creating an account login stinks.Keeps telling me my policy number and email is invalid. And I do not have a printer out of my Id card. So I have nouthing to show I have insurance. Totally dissapointed about this
