I made an appointment on August 18, 2021. I paid a deposit of $30 per their policy that was posted originally to Facebook on May 6, 2021. Please see attached picture. I called today August 25, 2021 to reschedule my appointment which is not for three days. After speaking with someone I told them I would call back after I checked my schedule because they did not have an appointment on the day I was looking for. Ivy called me back about 20 minutes later and told me that I could not reschedule my appointment and that the deposit was nonrefundable and non-transferable. However per their own policy I was allowed one reschedule for the same deposit. Again please see the policy attached in the picture below that was posted on May 6 2021. After the phone call they updated their policy on Facebook and Instagram both to remove the line that says one reschedule allowed for the same deposit. Please see attached photo of the updated policy posted today around 12:30 PM. Ivy was extremely rude to me she refused to let me speak yelled at me for interrupting her and then did the exact same thing to me when I tried to speak. I know several people who go to this salon and love their nails. I was looking forward to my appointment however I will never step foot in the salon because of how I was treated. The $30 doesn’t matter to me one way or the other but the customer service and not following your own policies is just bad business.RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENT.Actually, it was not a funding issue. It’s a preference. I just prefer to have my appointments on the same weeks that my paycheck falls on because it is the same weekend that my fiancé works and we don’t have other commitments. I do not appreciate that your response seems to be an attempt to publicly humiliate me by assuming and stating that it was a funding issue.I did not refuse other appointments, but I also have a full-time job and I said I would call back after I checked my schedule. My full-time job is an hour away and I cannot get there before the salon closes during the week. So, Saturday is the only day that I have to get my nails done. If the policy was updated prior to the phone conversation then it should have been posted when it was changed. Not within minutes of the phone call ending. The woman that I spoke with who offered to reschedule, according to you multiple times, should have known the policy prior to me receiving a phone call from Ivy and not offered to reschedule. Non-transferable means some thing is not able to be transferred to another person which is not what I was asking for. I never once said that I was absolutely going to need to reschedule for several weeks. I said that I needed to check my schedule and see when I could do it. Regardless of whether Ivy thinks she was yelling or not, she was very disrespectful, cut me off, refused to let me speak and treated me with absolute disrespect. What are your customers supposed to go by regarding your policy when the only policy information regarding deposits was the one that was listed from May 6? I absolutely understand that policies change. I work in an industry where the only thing constant is change, however, I don’t change those policies and post them publicly after a dispute with someone where I argued that the policy was not what was listed on their professional business page.Even in your response, you still don’t seem to understand that the issue has NOTHING to do with the $30. It has everything to do with being argumentative about your own policy, stating it does not say one reschedule is allowed when I clearly showed that it did. All that needed to be said was something like “ I apologize but our policy changed and it seems like we failed to update it, because of our mistake we will reschedule your appointment and I’ll make sure it gets updated immediately.” THAT would have been good customer service and treating someone respectfully instead of the way the conversation transpired. That would have made me WANT to frequent your salon.

Saturday appt. Clean, nails were done neatly, supplies were available as needed. Not noisy. Prices were appropriate for area. Pleasant experience.

Miss Ivys professional care was a blessing, she took such good care of my pedicure! I walked in with practically hooves, (bless her patience!) but left with prettier, softer feet than Ive had in years. Ill definitely be back!!

My visit to Salon & Spa Absolute was great! I worked with Angie. She was very nice, helped me choose a nail polish color that suited my preference and provided a great pedicure. I will definitely be going back!

Incredible service! I started taking my mother here when I wanted to get a pedicure. It was my mothers first pedicure and she loved it. We have been going ever since. The staff is extremely kind, very understanding and patient and the services are fantastic! I am very pleased with the services provided and couldnt be happier with the staff. My mother was so happy to have new friends to talk to.

I love going to Nice Hair And Nails. Kimberlyn absolutely nailed my hair coloring. I told her what I wanted and she delivered spot on. This rarely happens for me. She is professional and personable. Miss Ivey did an excellent job with my pedicure as well. Overall it was a great experience. I hope you will help Kimberlyn build her clientele so she will stay for a long time.

I never realized how important foot care was until I heard about mens pedicures at this salon. I wish I had known about pedicures ten years ago! Nice Nails has my feet in tip top condition and feeling better than ever. The salon has a great atmosphere that is welcoming for both men and women. Literally the best nail shop in the world, Alexis is so amazing she can do nails like no other. She does the best designs Ive ever had, and Ive never had a nail even break. Best bang for your buck and the best value. They are always upgrading and doing new things, and keeping up the the current fashion.

Being honest. I have had much better pedicures. They did not get all the skin out under the sides of my toes so now they still feel sore. Didnt get much of a foot massage and 0 leg lotion or anything. Needs improvement. The paint job by a child was not that great either.

First time here, very happy with the ending results. They do hair and nails. Cant beat that. Friendly staff, must call for an appointment. With an appointment you are seen at that time until you are done. Positive atmosphere, friendly overall and sociable. Two-thumbs up ladies!!!

Have been going here since September of 2015, have never been disappointed! Started taking my husband with me and Ivy has done amazing work on his feet! He doesnt have any pain or roughness anymore. My nails are naturally long and I want to keep them that way, Alexis knew exactly how to do that and make the look beautiful for any occasion.

Every time I walk in I’m greeted with such warmth by all the girls working. I schedule my appointments and have little to no wait time. All the girls do such an amazing and professional job. I would go nowhere else but NICE NAILS and HAIR.

The new management is amazing, lots of younger people who know exactly what you have in mind. From foot massages to the detail in the nail art, they really take the job seriously here. I will definitely be back and spread the word about nice nails!

I used to think pedicures were only for girls. But after my first pedicure my feet felt great. Getting pedicures really helps my feet stay healthy and fit between running and playing sports. I get a pedicure and manicure every month now! The staff is very friendly with each and every client. I highly recommend for everyone to make an appointment at Nice Nails and Hair!

Got a pedicure. It was alright. Nothing special. $25 but no massage or schluffing off of dead skin--which is the whole point of pedicures right? It was fine and they got me in quickly--just not special enough for me to return.

Im new to the area and decided to give this place a try, when I walked in and saw no customers that should have been my que to leave. There were three employees (one the owner) none of them greeted me or gave a hint of a smile. The young girl that started my pedi had to leave early for an appointment so the other women finished no big deal. But she too didnt even acknowledge me. The phone rang and the owner made her stop working on my feet to answer it even though he was sitting there watching TV! This happened twice! She did a poor job scrubbing my feet, barley massaged my feet or legs, and no hot towel. When she was done painting my toes she failed to put my shoes back on and make me walk on their nasty carpet barefoot. I had to dry my nails with a hot fan which was unpleasant considering it was about 90 degrees outside. For $25 you can get better service elsewhere.
