No frills, in and out while still in the car. Brought in a RHD postal work vehicle that is beat down. They filled all fluids, kicked the tires, and put us back on the road for another round of back country road abuse. They even replaced the oil plug that I rounded trying to change the oil myself. Definitely will be back and definitely recommend they to others.

I was so impressed with the staff. I’m very nervous about vehicle fluids and the staff was willing to manually enter my card and made me comfortable. They were friendly and knowledgeable.

Walmart is cheaper if you want to wait several hours for your car to be done. This place isnt too bad on the price, they show you your dipstick when its done so you know everything was done right. Just avoid the upsells, some of their upsells are worth it like if you are low on a fluid just pay the extra have them put it in but you can get better deals on air filters and wiper blades at other places.

Assistant manager Rich is the man. He provided quick and knowledgeable service while getting my oil changed, and then manually sprayed down my vehicle after I ran into issues with the car wash. Definitely feel he went above and beyond. Valvoline is lucky to have employees like him.

They are really good guys, friendly and helpful, sometimes I go there after I have been driving for 5 months still didn’t reach the 3000 miles and the guys tell me to come back when it reach the required miles to be changed. I was wondering if that was safe for engine driving with old oil even though is not 3000 miles, but it’s over 5 or 6 months. Other than that they are fantastic employees.

I was disappointed that they wouldnt check the transfer case without doing a service on it for $74. It only holds a little over 2 quarts of oil.

I have 3 vehicles get oil changes here. I sometimes use the carwash on separate times.The Carwash has had multiple problems over the years. This morning it wasnt working properly and one of the employees was being a complete d*** about it.Thanks to the manager for righting things!

Went there due to the review of 4 stars. Asked for an oil change. Saw the three options and picked the $45 dollar option. I change my oil every 3000 miles. Plus I need 7 quarts which always cost an extra amount. Anyways, when I said just give me the cheap one the tech shook his head no and mumbled something under his breath. The other tech decided he couldnt read an air pressure gauge and lowered my tire pressure on one side to 25 psi. Needless to say I wont be coming back. Plus they charged me $5 for a skid plate removal. Really? Didnt realize these small skid were so hard to get off?? If I would have gone full synthetic it would have cost me $100+ oil change.

They don’t stand behind the corporate coupons that they send out with their own address.It’s an overpriced oil change and they regularly try to upsell services that aren’t necessary to be completed.Update (since I can’t respond): the excuse from your employee and customer care was that “it’s a corporate coupon and we don’t honor those”.I called customer care and they were no help either. Find another place to service your vehicle in town.

They do not accept Valvoline coupons. If you google “Moorhead Valvoline”, the first link to come up is a Valvoline instant oil change coupon. I clicked on it, went to VALVOLINES WEBSITE and saved the coupon, which they still did not accept. A normal oil change was $90! Absurd pricing. Robert, the technician was rude. He expected me to know I couldnt use a coupon.... he also called me bro. They try to up sell you on unnecessary products. I will definitely not be going back here.

Took my wifes car in for a oil change, was very pleased with their professional approach, when we got home noticed two valve stem caps missing,tried to use the complementary car wash, the code was accepted but was not allowed to enter the wash, due to the high quality of the service I thought I would use the Fargo one, i couldnt believe it the exact same thing happened to my car, Make sure you check your car before leaving and dont do the car wash after hours, we both work in Fargo but live 45 min away and thought this company would be good company but when parts come up missing and part of the service is not working,not at only one but two places I think Ill try jiffy lube next time

I went in to get my oil changed almost 3 thousand miles ago now . A couple weeks after I got my oil changed I noticed a small oil leak (which was never happening before this specific oil change . I called and told the person I was speaking what was going on and he told me that it wasnt there fault and they couldnt do anything about it . Now, MAYBE a month has passed since I called and my car is leaking oil terribly . Ive called around to some mechanics and they are pretty sure my oil pan bolt was put back in wrong and caused a cross threading . I will never be going to another valvoline again ! My car never leaked oil before this last oil change at this particular shop . If the techs dont know what they are doing, then maybe they shouldnt be working there.

Its like going through a drive threw, tell them what you need done, (for me it was a oil and filter change). They even checked all my liquids in my car and air pressure in my tires, ect. Then I got a free car wash. It was nice to not have to get out of the car...The guys that were working at the time, were very nice, polite and professional.

Wife took the vehicle in for a standard oil change. Got upselled HARD on things she 100% didn’t need. She wasn’t told exactly what they were doing until they gave her the total at the end. Thanks for being the cliche stereotypical automotive service.

Never had a problem with my truck. Owned it for over two years went here for a simple oil change on a recommendation from a friend. They proceeded to check rear and front differential fluids. They talked me into changing the rear walked out paying over $300 and now the back end of my truck has a shake while driving over 50 mph. They must have screwed something up. NOT happy and I would not recommend this place.

Its nice to get the oil changed without having to exit the vehicle. Last time I went there, they fixed my cruise control, just in the process of winterizing my antifreeze and windshield washer! For under$6!!!

I’ve had my last I’d say 4-5 oil changes there and I went to do it myself and the plug was stripped. Called them told them what I saw and they said they could replace it but when I got there they refused to do anything about it.

Usually good. This time failed to hook up air venting after checking filter. Car shook and ran bad until wouldnt start at all. I immediately said upon starting thst something was wrong twice and ignored. Car sat 3 days until i could get it looked at and then it was just a careless error. Could have saved a lot of hassle had they listed when I said something was messed up as doon as I started it. I am now leery of returning.

Id have to agree with the other review done within the last week. First time with them was great. This time, not so much. My engine light was on - told the guy when I drove in. Told him a second time when I paid. And a third time when I had to sign for my card. He said if it didnt go off to come back. Umm - it was on when I came! Ill be on the road Tuesday - now I have to waste my time/money finding another place that can actually address my problem. I wouldnt recommend.

I have been driving my Honda for five years with no good heat or air, even has it to Crowin Honda to fix blower fan. Didnt help. Took it to Thors and Billy changes a filter behind the glove box..I have awesome cold air and heat flow. Thank you guys so very much.

The first time was quick and efficient.. this last time yesterday wasn’t as great. They didn’t have the bulb so I had to wait for o’reilys to bring a bulb... then they did my oil and and headlight but then asked to get my computer in the car reset so I don’t have my change oil thing pop up every time. That didn’t happen... was a poor experience and am questioning if I should give them another chance... we will see

I feel as if I was treated like a dumb female by chauvinistic males. Not only did I end up spending close to $100.00 for a $40.00 oil change, my car is running terribly now! Problems have arose now that were not there before I had them change my oil. So to the mechanic I go. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

They really charge more money than I expected. We have agreed to change thermostat only, Which costs $49.99. And they changed my good coolant, which I didnt agree with them. They charged me almost $160.I dont recommend to go over there again.

Wow!! Just horrible, even Walmart would do better. My 2017 Toyota camera with less than 50,000 miles on it. They charge me $90 and put high mileage maxlife oil in. This stuff says on the label recommended for vehicles with over 75000. I call they say full synthetic is full synthetic. That’s not true. Gotta take them to court! Had to change my oil 2 days later. They are clueless as to what the manufacturer recommended oil is for newer cars.

Did not care for the customer service or the way they did my oil change. So found . They never even changed my oil or oil filter. I ended up taking my car to mechanic because I was leaking oil .Thats when the mechanic Informed me they didnt change my oil or the oil filter.

Dont bring a fleet vehicle here for service. I brought a 9000lb gvwr for transit that they couldnt do a tire rotation on because the service advisor said their lift was only rated for 6000lbs so they are lucky if they could rotate on a 1/2 ton pickup.

On 8-17-17 they changed the oil on my daughters Ford Taurus. When I did the next oil change myself I discovered the drain plug so loose I removed it with just my fingers! Luckily it never fell out and caused any damage. Consumers beware.

The word of the day is upsell $120 oil change for a gas Silverado when the dealership does it for $59. I brought my truck there to see if it would be a cheaper alternative to the dealership and I was wrong. They told me my coolant was low which I had checked a week earlier and it was fine then. So I checked it after I left and they filled my reservoir to the top with coolant when the full hot line is half way and they charged me $20 for about a half a quart of Premium coolant! I bought the winter deicer washer fluid upgrade for $3 too. They drained my tank and refilled it with new fluid. Now my low washer light comes on every time I start it up. I will continue bringing our fleet vehicles to the dealership after this experience. Luther GMC in Fargo has done a great job for us I just hate the wait....

No stars. This was by far and away the worst oil change Ive ever experienced. Ive never been treated so chauvinistically in my life. Id rather go to Walmart than come back to this place.When I pulled in, I asked for a basic Oil Change, and to please double check my tires, since 2 were showing low on my vehicles indicator. While in the waiting room, I watched them change the oil but not check the tires. When I brought this up before leaving, one of the Service Techs checked the tires, but did not add any air. He said they were all at 32 PSI. As I was exiting the bay, I noticed that my Oil Change indicator had not been cleared, and I was still showing 2 low tires. I mentioned this to the Technician that had checked me out, and referenced the owners manual for my vehicle, which states that the indicator for the tires will not come on unless they are under 30 PSI. He told me that after driving 5-10 miles the tire indicator light would go off. I told him that from my past experience, the indicator on this particular vehicle will go off immediately, and that typically I do run the tires at 38 PSI. He told me that in was winter, and I should lower my tire pressure to increase traction on slippery roads.I drove across the road to check my vehicle out for myself, and found the following issues-*2 tires at under 30 PSI*Cleared Oil Change indicator myself*No windshield washer fluid addedNeedless to say, I will not be back to this place ever again, and I would recommend that no one else go here either. I get better and cheaper service from Walmart!!!

They dont do anything other than change oil. If you gasket is shot they dont replace it. They wont tell you it needs to be replaced or anything. My cars engine was destroyed for that on reason. I was leaking oil around the little bit of gasket left and no one told me. And they dont want to take responsibility for it. Had to total the car and donate it. Find another place if you can!
