I am proud to say that I have been a client with them since they opened (I followed my therapist there) and I have them on speed dial if I need to make an appointment. They offer several types of counseling for all of the things that are too big for us to work on/fix by ourselves.My personal experience is about past trauma. My therapist, Crystal Hulett helped me to do the HARD work and without a doubt, she helped me to find myself again! As a fellow clinician, it is important to have local referral sources. I have made several successful referrals to this practice, especially since they accept many different insurance plans. I will continue to utilize Thrive as a referral source.

Thrive Counseling and Wellness is top-notch. Best practice in the area. I have tried a few other practices and none of them compare to Thrive. The office immaculate, warm and inviting. Don’t waste your time anywhere else - choose Thrive Counseling and Wellness.In response to the posts below that are negative, it sounds as if you didn’t pay attention to their financial policy or know your own insurance benefits. I work in a fee for service industry and it is vital they have something in place for cancellations. If you do not respect their time, they do not make money for that session and can’t refill it that quickly. Clearly these negative responses don’t like to be held accountable. Sounds like a personal problem, not a Thrive problem!

This place is amazing. Having a teen in the LBGTQI+ community can sometimes be hard to find a supportive place. The counseling my kid received here was life changing. It was more then just a session. Her therapist actually cared! Saying thank you to them just doesnt seem adequate. I am forever grateful to this place!

I reached out Thrive having never been to a therapist in the past and honestly a bit unsure of what to expect from the experience. I have to say I am so glad that I did! I was set up with an appointment with William and always felt comfortable talking about what I wanted to and never felt pressured to share anything I didnt. I was given tools and support along the way and would recommend the Thrive staff and especially William to anyone!

I was always skeptical of therapy prior to my first visit in Dec 2019. Ever since I was a kid I’ve struggled with intrusive thoughts and OCD. Now that I am transitioning into young adulthood I really needed to find help and get the tools needed to stop the anxiety.William and I were able to trace back and find the events in my life that caused some of these thoughts, I would have never considered them beforehand and believed they were completely unrelated. William is very talented and treats you with respect and dignity throughout the entire process, he also isn’t afraid to tell you you’re wrong (this is good).Thank you William and Thrive. I am now able to live a better life and understand the issues I’ve faced all this time.A turning point in therapy was when I realized OCD is a lie. The constant compulsions dont make a difference in the outcome one is obsessing over.

I had the privilege of working as a counselor at Thrive and have only wonderful memories of my time there. It was so special to be part of a team that truly felt like a family. Let’s talk about if you have any issues or cancel several weeks in advance they will still charge your card as if you hadn’t cancelled. They also will rudely hang up on you when trying to handle the situation with billing, they also will block your number when you try to fix the situation. They will tell you that you are harassing them for trying to show proof that you called to cancel several weeks in advance. So to say I don’t trust this company is an understatement. I have had wonderful therapy here but when I was placed with someone new who was a terrible match I got BLOCKED. Do not go here, they will also tell you that insurance covers then a few months in to therapy go up on price due to coverage. Again DO NOT GO HERE, There are several other counseling offices in Mooresville.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I had no issues with my therapist he is great and I have followed him out of the practice, however the office staff and owner Terri has been a nightmare the last few months.Be careful if you go to Thrive they will over charge you and continue to over charge your card on file even after they have gotten several EOBs. They overcharged my card from June 2020 to August 2020 by $226. Mine was an FSA card then when questioned they refused to put back on the card stating that they would send a check to me, and I could use it however I wished. I said you mean I have to make sure the money gets back to the card. Terri stated no its your money to do as you wish. Tried to explain and kept getting told I was wrong. They obviously have no idea how an FSA account works and if they tell others this same information they will have issues if they dont know the rules.

I am a fellow licensed counselor in Mooresville and I am consistently impressed with Thrive’s reputation, professionalism, and most importantly the good therapeutic work that clients (many of whom are my personal friends) tell me about. We are lucky to have a multi-disciplinary therapy practice like this right in our area!

I have been receiving services from Crystal for the past three (maybe four) years and let me just say I would not be the woman I am today without her. Crystal is a phenomenal counselor and the advice, guidance, strategies, and love she has shown me has made a positively large impact on my life. I received counseling for minor anxiety, family issues, and basically just the stress that comes with becoming and adult. The knowledge and assistance I received were so impactful that as I was preparing to get married, my husband and I asked Crystal to be our pre marital counselor! These sessions were tough — but our marriage is strong now, because of them! As Crystal transitioned to Thrive I knew she would only flourish and the old saying is true, “birds of a feather flock together.” The other counselors at Thrive are fantastic and all have their specialities. I highly recommend — and I do actually refer friends quite often to Thrive — to any and everyone. My hour/week with Crystal is one of my most anticipated hours in my week! Treat yo self!!!

What an awful experience! I was referred here by a friend and did not receive the treatment than I expected. Therapist was rude and seemed preoccupied during my session. I will never go back.
