Worst post office ever. Shipped 2 first class packages on 8/1. It is now 8/5 and they still have not left the post office. Tracking has not been updated in 4 days. If I could sue I would.
Zero stars! Please don’t overlook the previous reviews if you have any important time sensitive mail just pay the difference to go with the professionals. Sent a priority letter back on the 1st. It is a local city and here we are late on the 14th and it still hasn’t been delivered.What a waste of postage. I could have just put a regular stamp on it if it was going to take two weeks to make it 20 miles! Better yet, I would have delivered this myself since it is important and time sensitive. This is just a testament to the service that you can expect locally. I just really wish I had thought to look at the reviews before before in trusting such important business with them. Please don’t come here expecting the same quality and reliable service and integrity that the historical US Postal Service has been known for because that is not what this business seems to be about anymore.My local deliveries haven’t been ideal either. They’ve lost some of my mail and I’ve received my neighbor’s mail as well.Attitudes from workers, both local delivery (never a pleasant demeanor or any reciprocated acknowledgement) & inside their facility is never anything but rude and condescending. I don’t let it phase me, but this may not be the place for you to do business if you don’t want to put a damper on your day.Side note, even their kiosk is at a whole different level of service so don’t go expecting to be able to serve yourself.I’m just counting down the days when they will either go out of business, be purchased by private enterprise, or humbly appreciate their dependence on us rather than the other way around.Adding a update today April 13, 2021, it looks like someone ripped open my packages just enough to peek inside. Trusting local post office less and less. I’ve also received my neighbors mail multiple times since my last post. Insurance on everything.Update 7/1/21… another neighbor looking for her books that were apparently delivered to the wrong address. Seriously people! I also never received a 128 gb sd card that I recently purchased, but that was apparently delivered and signed for by some “SSJOHNSON” person. I ended up having to go through the trouble of filing a claim.
Left work early, showed up at 4:50PM only to be told that they were closed though there were still people behind the counter. Was recommended to use the self service kiosk, which did not have the option I needed and tried to charge me double what it should have cost to ship the package.
Worst PO, worst Postmaster. 3 visits to PO for Express envelope. Had to physically track down carrier due to PO not answering phones or email inquiries. Received envelope 2 days AFTER promised. Request of refund Postmaster Joe is delaying & being uncooperative by leaving the office before 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. Hiding Joe, why? Not to mention the 45 minute wait being on hold after calling the 800 number to track the envelope, this is a fiasco that you should avoid. Untrustworthy service, period.
Terrible lost a good amount of my forwarded mail from Cornelius. Rethinking living in this city due to the fact that getting your mail isnt guaranteed
June 2021 UPDATE: Despite assurances of improvements from the rude supervisor, I just had another letter returned to sender, marked “no such street.” It might help to improve service if they’d hire people who are able to read.You’d be better off using UPS, FEDEX or carrier pigeonThis has to be the worst post office in the state. It seems their normal routine is to randomly forward packages and then lose them. Mail is returned to sender for no reason. If you dare to ask for an explanation, be prepared to wait and wait and wait and then be met with rudeness. When presented with facts and proof, they’re dumbfounded. Complaints are not addressed at all.I’d give negative 10 stars if possible.
James has the biggest chip on his shoulders! The rudest people work at this location. If they don’t like working with the public they should really get another job. One that does not involve humans would be more suitable for them and the other rude female that was there at closing today.
I often drop my parcels off here, there is usually a line in the afternoon but it moves fast.
Since the day I moved to Mooresville, NC I have had problems. The first time I dealt with USPS was in the summer of 2017 when they kept sending a package back to my dad THREE TIMES saying our address wasnt correct and it was not cheap getting that package sent. It was a hassle proving that my apartment address for Talbert Woods Apartment and condos was correct and everytime they wouldnt help when the package was being process to be returned-for example communicate with their colleagues to bring it back.Nothing has been easy with this business. Now recently, I used the self service kiosk to send a letter out to Marshall, NC. I accidentally reversed the locations of the recipients and the return addresses on the letter itself BUT the recipients address was inputted into the system and the barcode containing this info was printed and placed on the letter.Even though the letter format was my mistake the barcode containing the information and someone with common sense would understand the recipient would not be in Mooresville if it was being sent out of Mooresville.When I got word of the letter returning to me, I tried to call the P.O. but the number is only for national customer support that had 45 minutes of wait time!! I drove to the P.O. instead and they just shrugged their shoulders. EVEN THOUGH ITS THE 21ST CENTURY AND THEY COULD USE THEIR PHONE TO COMMUNICATE TO THEIR COWORKER IN TRANSIT TO SEND WORD OF THE MISTAKE, THEY WOULD NOT DO SO!MY HERO!The definition of customer service has no meaning here. They dont have common sense and if they do, they just dont care! Im appalled at how much money I have spent over the last three years due to their incompetence!PLEASE, MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO READ THIS AND DO SOMETHING!
Kathy Woodie is great! Very helpful! Weve had some issues getting our mail forwarded to our new address. I called in from out of state and she was cheerful, friendly and happy...and on it! Great experience...if youre having issues, ask for Kathy!
Not all folks are lazy but it really stands out when it’s a government employee... you go to UPS or FedEx or any shipping office and they’ll help you box it. You go to this office and they’ll charge you for a roll of tape when all you need is two inches of tape. It takes a second to be nice and help someone...
Left a slip in my mailbox indicating non-delivery of something from Amazon. No indication of why it wasnt left (nothing checked on the slip). I go online to request re-delivery and the tracking number isnt recognized as being valid. I call the post office for assistance and they can offer me none other than telling me they can re-deliver it the next day, but cannot tell me why it wasnt delivered. This is the worst post office I have ever experienced and the workers cant even greet or thank you. HELLO-Without customers, you wouldnt have a job!

This post office is horrible.Went to New York. Forgot a few things at home. They were important too. Post office told my mom it will arrive to me within 3 day. It’s been almost 3 weeks now. This post office sucks!Lost my package. Smh
The USPS workers in the Mooresville office are the best. they move a line quickly (even at Christmas) and are consistently pleasant and helpful. My delivery man is right on time daily and very personable and helpful and friendly. I think these gals and guys do a great job.
WORST POST OFFICE EVER!! The staff is extremely rude and it’s obvious to all the customers that they hate their jobs and clearly have something better to do than wait on their customers! I would never recommend this post office to anyone! This has not only been my experience one time but multiple times when I have come here! So I’m definitely speaking from experience!
U.s. post offices Hall services including counter service a desk to sell cards mailboxes away station so you can do self service mailing and outside mailboxes. the staff of this post office seeks to keep the line moving and people are friendly in line. The post office is convenient to the neighborhood.
I have had some issues at this post office with delivery and also with the admin. of my PO Box at the actual Post Office.However, I want to commend Theresa who I believe is the Station Manager, for her wonderful customer service and determination to try to resolve problems.Theresa tracked down a lost package for me and personally delivered it to my house - ensuring that it did not become lost at the office again. The package should never have been where it was - but its not often that someone makes such a personal effort to rectify a problem - so kudos & thanks to Theresa.
Since theyve taken over my mail delivery in Troutman my credit score has gone down ten points. Twice payments never made it to their destination and I had to twice cancell checks at 35.00 each in the last 4 months.
If you haven’t figured out from the other reviews, this place is terrible. The drivers are too lazy to bring amazon packages to the door so they put a slip in the mailbox to pick up at the post office. We have even filled out forms from the post office saying to drop them at the door. So you go into the post office and stand in line for over 20 minutes until you are next in line then they tell you if you are picking up then go to the blue door beside the front counter. Then you have to wait another 10 minutes for the supervisor to come to the door to help and then she doesn’t read the slip correctly and brings you someone else’s package so she goes back again. This has happened twice in the past week. So we ask if we have a pick up, can we just wait at the blue door instead of waiting in line forever and they told us that we had to wait in line. Absolute nobody that works there is friendly. I even saw someone working at the front counter hand a tape dispenser to a customer shipping something making the customer tape her own box together because they wouldn’t do it.If you can avoid this post office, do yourself a favor and do so. Drive a mile away to Choice Box Mail beside of Publix if you need to shipanything. They are quick, friendly, and don’t seem like they despise everything about their jobs.
Would give zero stars if I could. Literally the worst customer service and employees there. They send mails to the wrong house and doesnt even bother delivering your items, instead leaves a missed you note. Went to the post office to pick up a package and had to wait about 10minutes for the post master supervisor. Then had to wait another 10minutes to tell me that my package wasnt there. If you want to ground your children, just send them here to pick a package up.
Today, I was at this location and I was there to send some papers out of country, and I was inquiring upon the different choices I had for sending them. When I asked the man about the choices that I had and tried to remove any doubts or confusion, the worker, Randy, was very impatient and was barely willing to explain to us. I felt discriminated because he clearly noticed how im not a native English speaker and he didn’t try to help me in the slightest. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues trying to send things at this location. I hope that the customer service here improves for all people, and not just English speakers.
Marked my package as “delivered and handed to resident”...but they actually set my packages down, looked in my businesses window, and immediately took the packages. I was upstairs, got it on security camera. I thought maybe they would just deliver it the next day.Nope. No package. Filing a police report.

Went there to see where my medical equipment I order was. I show them my tracking number and said that the tracking wasnt working properly. Ask if the could check and see if its here and I was told thats not my job I have NEVER in my 10+ years of customer service experience seen an agent of a company talk to someone in such a way. I have literally never submit a review online but this place is the WORST!!

These folk work very hard and take care of a TON of mail very efficiently and effectively. My only issue is long, long lines at times that are very hard for people with back or feet problems, but I dont know how they could hire people on to cover just these rush times.I just feel.ever so grateful for all that they do. People who are critical should check out other countries and their issues, like where things are completely torn up or stolen or even sold. There are places you had best write, God is watching you! and hooe voo doo or God or whatever makes it possible for mail to get through these dishonest handlersWe r so blessed, and spoiled, in so many ways and dont even know it!! All is so professional and wonderf exceot for limg lines.Thank you Brawley School Road personnel for doing such a great job for people that dont seem to appreciate. Just know that I do!!!
I dread going to this post office and getting the man with glasses. Everyone else there is friendly and helpful except for him. He is there every time and I have NEVER seen him smile in the 80+ times Ive been. He is bringing down the entire place with his surly attitude and it is very clear he does not want to be there. I think theyve gotten a bit better about having more people on staff to help with the wait time and everyone else has always been nice to me, so if they could just straighten out that man things would be a lot better. I dont care if hes rude to me because what the heck, its a 5 minute interaction at most, but I hate seeing him be so rude to others. Its just embarrassing for himself and the USPS. If you have the time to go to the post office downtown, I highly recommend it! They are always so nice there with much less wait time.
Horrible, packages never get delivered. Horrible customer service. Leave it to the government to screw up the mail. If you want your packages to arrive safe please use fedex or ups. These incompetent morons dont deserve their jobs.
Randy, The man with the glasses is VERY RUDE!!! First of all, he doesn’t even say hello even after we said hello. He frowned when we walked in and I could tell he was discriminating against me and the people I was with. He thought we weren’t fluent in English even though we were CLEARLY speaking in English He was not helpful and had a frown on his face the entire time we were speaking. He had no idea what we were talking about and he couldn’t answer any questions. So I don’t recommend this place at all and try a different post office. And if you have to come here, try not to get Randy.
Had a package not get delievered because they couldnt fit it in the mailbox. They wouldnt let me just pick it up.
I absolutely hate the mail carrier service that I receive at my house. The people can never pick up my mail out of my mailbox, eventhough my flag is always up. I have found my mail outside on the ground many times and have made many complaints and never once have they responded in any way nor have any actions have been taken to resolve it.
I know a lot of people have given bad reviews but Ive had such a great experience with this post office and their staff. Sometimes I think customers walk in with a bad attitude already thinking their experience is going to be bad so their experience is then bad. But I go here frequently because I have an online business and do a lot of shipping. These folks have a lot of rules and regulations to follow so its hard for them when someone is asking for something thats outside the guidelines. The postal workers dont make the rules they just have to carry them out. Overall the staff here is extremely friendly. Ive enjoyed light conversations with them during my check outs which is often. Ive witnessed customers complaining and giving the staff a hard time and I feel bad because its truly not the staffs fault, but they have a thankless job and have to take the brunt of everyones frustrations. I have a PO box here and have never had an issue. Its a clean facility inside and out.
Not only does this branch not answer the phone, their mail carriers apparently cant read addresses either. Package not delivered because of an insufficient address where the full address was 100% complete on the tracking information of my shipment. Not sure what failure here I am more disappointed with in regard to their service.
I am writing this with regret due to the fact I have been in the customer service industry for 40 years. However, I feel I have no other choice at this point. Our residential postal service has been terrible for the last year. Our outgoing mail will sit in our mailbox for days with incoming mail placed on top of it. I have had to put a big sign up saying please take our mail! We continuously recieve mail that is not ours and have had to resend for our W2 forms 3 times this year!! Within the last 4-6 months our postal carrier has place a package on 2 different occasions at our garage door, which when opened is directly in the path of our vehicle. The first time my husband was driving home and noticed the box, however on June 11,2017 we were not so lucky. When we opened our garage door, we backed our car out and realized we had hit something..... there was the amazon box, delivered via USPS with the corner crushed by our tire and the contents were shattered. The worst part about it is when I took the damaged box to the Mooresville Post Office the supervisor, Cathy put the blame on amazon for not packaging it right and concluded that her carrier denied placing the box there. She suggested I tell amazon the box was delivered damaged......however it was only damaged due to the carrier placing it behind our car....who does that?! So frustrating. I will contact amazon and I will ask that all our orders be delivered via Fed Ex or UPS. They place our boxes on the bench we have next to our garage or at the front door!!

I have my business since 2000 on 548-5 Williamson road.So many problems since.Last week I found that carrier decided for my business is not existing anymore,so returned all mails to senders or just put in the trash.I called since Monday and talked to Denise and Kathie, just yelling and no answer.Who in the world has right to trash my mail bc my mailbox was full?????according to them??????Instead to apologized they yelled and screamed at you bc you dare to asked them why!?I am writing to Post master Taris Cherry letter to see if she can do something about this unlawfull action which hurt my business.Also I will address the issue to my representative in Congress too.This has to stop .
This is a terrible facility! My parents are 87 years old and have no received mail in a week. When my mother call this facility she was told her complaint was untrue and then hung up on! Someone really needs to get a hold on this facility and make some desperate changes! Terrible!

Our previous mail carrier was exceptional! However our new carrier(s) apparently cant read addresses on the mail because we got a box full for a different suite in the building! Lately the service has been HORRIBLE!! They even sent a box back to sender saying we had moved (??). It seems to me they just dont want to deliver packages to our door. You should question why your carrier does not deliver to my plaza on Saturdays. Second time I needed a parcel and she marked it un-deliverable.
Absolutely offensive service from the manager. He stated his name as Rodney. He was rude, he would interrupt you constantly and was completely unhelpful. Does this office have any customer service standards whatsoever? I will be using UPS or FedEx every chance I get because USPS believes they can get away with anything. Its embarrassing.

My wife and i needed passports. This office requires an appointment to make the application. Called. Got answering machine. Left message and name and number.10 days later I get a call back!!!I return the call. Turns out the hours shown on line are incorrect. NO Saturday appointments. Have to check with working wife to see when we can go on a work day. Man who called - named Robert - says I can call back and leave a message with preferred time. If its already booked, hell call me back, otherwise come ahead on that date and time.Call back with preferred time; leave message; get no call back, so presume were good to go.Show up at Mooresville main branch only to be told no record of any appointment.A large black man (didnt get name) but who acted like some kind of manager started a rude and obnoxious rant about how they only do appointments and no way Robert could have told me anything...essentially calling me a liar. This is a man who has no business dealing with the public in any fashion! Talk about giving postal workers a bad name. Hed last about 20 minutes in a private sector job.The good news is that a clerk named Tiggs said he would take care of us...and he did...quickly, efficiently and very professionally. He needs to give the obnoxious fat man some lessons!Thanks Tiggs!!
Looking at the other reviews, there apparently seems to be a serious issue here with someone answering the phone. The United States Post Office wonders why its failing. Thats because they run it like a government agency not a business. If it was a business, it would have been closed. Ive been trying to call all afternoon to try to book a passport appointment but by looking at the other reviewer who needed a passport, Im afraid to even talk to this location. NOTES: Between 1 and 2pm on Friday August 22, 2014 the phone rang (and rang, and rang, and rang) but there was no voice mail option. From 2pm to 3:45pm, they had obviously taken the phone off the hook. At 3:55 I now was able to leave a voicemail but its probably just about closing time and they have a foot out the door. UPDATE: They called back on Monday August 25 to schedule my appointment for Thursday. They called me today to cancel the appointment and said they are no longer doing Passport processing at this location. I told other post offices that in the Charlotte Metro area and they looked at me like I was crazy and said thats the first they heard of that. Whoever the Mooresville guy was that called me gave me a number in Greensboro and said that is the only number to call to schedule passport appointments in the state. Another post office flat out confirmed that is not a true statement. BOTTOM LINE: Stay very far away from this post office. No one here apparently wants to work or help people get passports. If you do need a passport, I highly recommend the drive over to Kannapolis (Dale Earnhardt Blvd location). Its about 30 minutes from Mooresville and the staff, especially the Passport lady, is EXTREMELY nice and makes the process quite and painless... about $230 for an expedited passport book.
The staff always seems miserable and their hours are never accurate. During the week they could open at 8:30 or 9 or 9:30. Every sign both inside and the entrance door have different hours posted.
They cant read addresses!!! I put the address that they have on file for me!!! And they still want to return package to sender because they couldnt find it. Customer service will not let you talk to anyone live - there is no option for that - all automated! Worthless!!! Use other carrier if you ever get the choice!!!
Worst customer service ever! First time I came in with a orange sorry we missed you slip for an item that had to be signed for, I waited over 20 minutes in the main line only to be told when I got to a customer rep they couldnt get the package I would have to wait by the half door. You think thered be a sign, but no. So I wait another 20 minutes before someone comes to get the package. It takes them 10 mins to find it. Next time I come in with the same slip, I go straight to the window. A man in front of me is being helped. As soon as hes done the guy helping him disappears. I wait about 20 mor mins and ask the foks at their stations if anyone can come help us (people are behind me in line). The guy says, oh that person is on a teleconference call, youll have to get in the main line!!! All three of the workers walked by me at the window at least twice and saw the slip. They knew I was waiting and if I hadnt asked they would have let me wait indefinitly. No wonder people hate the post office and would rather use another service. They just do give a damn!
I packed a bowl that I made for an engagement gift and asked if it seemed secure enough, the woman said yes, it was plenty... It arrived in 3 pieces...very disappointed...
Late bills, past due notices! Please make sure your employees can read basic numbers and words. You are ridiculous. Since Mooresville took over My. Ulla things have been terrible. Running the mail is not for the mentally challenged community, they have work shops for that!
Very rude people who work there!!!! I come in weekly to ship things out and not once have they been kind. Always have attitude and a chip on their shoulders. Talk to you like your an idiot and that they have no time for you! Especially the manager!!!!!
The worst delivery company ever, they drive by our house and then mark as either unable to deliver or mark as delivered but dont leave my packages, just deliver my packages like your supposed too!!!.
