Cant recommend Lake Norman Plumbing enough. Replaced my Water Heater 2 years ago quickly and for a fair price and replaced my Pressure Release Valve and main shut off yesterday for half of what another company quoted. Thomas and the other plumber who came out were professional and obviously knew what they were doing. The Owner Steve answered the phone and clearly wants to help his customers. Go with Lake Norman Plumbing or go at your own risk.

My very old water heater died on Saturday morning, and by Saturday afternoon, LKN Plumbing had me a brand new one installed. They were very nice and did a fantastic job that very day, when 2 other plumbers said they couldnt come out until Monday. These are the guys to call!

I called Steve about 1 week prior to the work being done but I had told him up front we were not in a huge hurry. His guys came and did numerous things around the house that were the remaining few things we needed done to finish a remodel. They made some suggestions and I agreed with their assessment. I am really glad I found these folks and I am having them come back to talk about tankless water heaters soon. They were very fair, extremely professional and courteous. They did not leave any mess and the work looks fantastic. Its refreshing when the owner of a company actually answer the phone himself. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

I initially called at 4:30 PM with my hot water heater leaking water all over my garage floor. When i first called it went to voicemail. After a second call a few minutes later, i got the owner on the phone. He immediately referred me to the website to fill out a service request. This was pretty painless, and only took a few minutes to fill out.After an hour, i got a call saying that the plumber was on his way. The plumber (Zach) and his helper arrived and made quick work of the hot water heater replacement. Attached to my review you will see an example of their work.The customer service, quality of work, and parts chosen by Lake Norman Plumbing were all great. My biggest issue is with the cost. After calling around to get additional pricing for other companies (required by my home warranty) it became very apparent that i was extremely over charged. Almost every other company that gave me a quote came back at $800-1300. They charged me $1752. They also pass on a 4% charge to the customer if you elect to use a credit card.

We were having issues with our Hot water tank delivering enough hot water to the rest of our house. When I called, Steve answered the phone himself and was giving me a quote for our issue with in a day. Steve was able to replace our Hot water heater with a Rinnai tankless hot water system( not an easy task based on where our old electric hot water tank was located in relation to our propane tank) Best decision ever especially with 3 kids. He was here the next day and his guys were in and out in 5hours. They made sure everything was cleaned up and left no mess. Steve called later that night to make sure we were happy with everything. I would highly recommend Lake Norman Plumbing and will use them in the future!

Had a supply line burst on my property. It was buried 4 feet underground so not an easy job. Matt, the owner, personally got in there, dug the width of the property and repaired the leak (see pic). Great experience dealing with Matt and his office staff. Would recommend them over the big name plumbing companies if you want to save money and get the job done fast.

OMG!!! Zach and Thomas are the most unbelievably excellent Hot Water Replacement Technicians EVER!!! My Hot Water Heater sprung a leak and I was hoping that just maybe it could be repaired but Owner Steve answered the phone and explained to me that we are looking at a replacement.. I explained to Steve that the Hot Water Heater is located under the house in a 3 ft tall crawl space and he said that they could handle the job no problem.. A couple hours later Zach and Thomas showed up went under the house started disconnecting lines and electric..Then had to roll the old one out and roll the new one back under the House..Poor guys had to crawl in the wet clay to do the job and never once said anything negative..I really felt bad for them they really had some nasty conditions to work in..They handled it well thats what was so impressive about those two.. Very professional, when removing old water heater, they put tarp on floor for protection. Was thorough in explaination of new tankless water heater and water softner. When called to have them come back to show us again how to remove filter from water softner, they came within a day. I would highly recommend this company.

Called with emergency related to water heater failure. Steve called me back within minutes, was straightforward about when he could be there, what was needed, and price. Very upfront. Crew arrived within two hours, changed water heater in under thirty minutes. I see other reviewers talking about price, but having called other companies and having been told theyll be out the next day, I would say - youre paying for the emergency service. To me, the value was there.

Lake Norman Plumbing SAVED THE DAY!! My 13 year old water heater failed yesterday and Steves crew was able to get here and replace the tank with a beautiful new one same day for a reasonable price. Had water pouring out of my kitchen lights at 11:00 PM 2 days before a hurricane was suppose to hit our area, ended up being my hot water heater in the attack, so it traveled down through 3 floors. I called Lake Norman Plumbing and left a message, got a call right back from the owner Steve, he said he could send 2 guys tonight or the next morning, we shut the main water off and chose next morning, sure enough the guys were here by 10 am taking out the old one and installing a new one. I didnt think Id get anyone to address this until after the storm but they were right here and took our worries away. they did an awesome job, very neat and friendly.

Had a 12 year old, bought with home, direct vent water heater fail on me Saturday afternoon, called around to compare on cost and reputation and landed on Lake Norman Plumbing. Very glad I did. Steve was a can do and very supportive resource who was able to get his team out that evening. They were very polite, positive, respectful and took the time to explain everything; old system failure, new system operation, and the installation process. It only took them about an hour. I had a poor experience with another plumber after my water heater had broken and flooded my garage. I ended up sending that company home and called Steve at Lake Norman Plumbing. He was immediately helpful and knowledgeable about tankless water heater and I was satisfied that he had the right amount of experience to do the job. He came out the SAME DAY to look at my setup and then schedules my install the NEXT DAY! I am a bit of a nerd and always interested in the process of installing these systems so I was an observer during the entire install and they were gracious to accommodate me when I had questions. I have to say that the end result is by far the cleanest and most professional plumbing job I’ve ever seen! Steve supervised the entire install and I felt assured that his long expertise was benefitting the quality of workmanship. The team that did the work also seemed very knowledgeable and committed to excellence. My family now has hot water and I now have a plumber on speed dial for any future needs (fingers crossed I won’t need any soon).

I had a water leak in my home - which came to my attention after being gone for 6 hours and being greeted with 3 inches of water in my laundry room. I contacted the water mitigation firm to extract the water and then attempted to find a plumber. Of course this all happened on a Saturday at midnight.I called numerous plumbers and was told either they did not service my area or they simply didnt respond. A couple of hours after calling and leaving a message, Steve Goodrich of Lake Norman Plumbing called me back. I explained the problem and Steve tried to determine how he could alleviate my issue on a Sunday morning, Unfortunately, the hot water tank that I needed was somewhat unique, and none were available on a Sunday. Steve told me that he would get one Monday morning from a warehouse in Charlotte.On Monday morning I got a call from Steve telling me that the wholesaler in Charlotte did not have what I needed. He called numerous other local wholesalers to no avail. Finally, he was able to find one in Pinehurst, NC approximately 2 hours away. Steve was kind enough to send his crew to Pinehurst to pick up the water heaters at no additional cost to me. After making the 4 hour round trip his crew arrived at my home.They worked quickly, efficiently and carefully to locate the leak. They repaired it and installed the new hot water tank. After installation they found that the water pressure to my home was much too high. They replaced the pressure release valve and concluded work in 2 1/2 hours. I finally had running water.Throughout this process Steve was very helpful. He kept in constant contact and let me know the status regularly. I appreciated his consideration in this trying time.I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Lake Norman Plumbing. They were timely, considerate and thoughtful during the entire process. I could not give them a higher recomendation and told my neighbors about my wonderful experience.

Had a valve pop off the water line to my toilet late last night and called & left a message at 7:45 this morning. I received a call back at 10:15, the guy (Zack) saying he could meet me in an hour. He arrived and was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours (despite having to leave to get supplies). Fast & friendly service, will definitely call again if I need a plumber (particularly on short notice!).

We had a leak spring up on Sunday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. I called Lake Norman Plumbing Co.; the owner Steve answered the phone and he personally came right over and checked out the issue. He and his employee were back first thing Monday morning on Labor Day and got everything taken care of so we could turn our water back on. Very Responsive & Professional sums up our interaction with Steve and LKN Plumbing. Our water heater rusted out and leaked all over the basement floor in the early evening hours on a Thursday. We called several plumbers that next morning and all were 4+ days out with the exception of LKN Plumbing that offered to be out that night if needed otherwise could easily be there first thing Saturday morning. And that is even with procuring our specialized water heater. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, clean and especially quiet. They had swapped both the 75gal water heaters without me even realizing and I was just upstairs. This was a Home Warranty situation as well and LKN was very patient & understanding of the pre-approval process that needed to be followed so that wed get proper reimbursement. I would definitely recommend as well as use this vendor again. Very Pleasant Experience.

I decided I wanted a gas stove in the kitchen and the gas line is located on the other side of the house. Lake Norman Plumbing came to my rescue. Steve had the gas line installed in no time. A couple of days after that my garbage disposal died and, there again, Lake Norman Plumbing was here johnny on the spot and installed a new one. I highly recommend Lake Norman Plumbing and with good reason. I was looking for a local company and found them via google. I filled out a form on the web site and the owner, Steve, called me within 30 minutes. Steve came out that afternoon to discuss my need to replace my hot water heater. I wanted a tankless system and Steve was able to help me understand all the pluses and minuses without using a bunch of jargon so that I could understand everything. Steve and his crew installed the tankless system the next day and they were very professional. Steve’s 2 man crew did a great job. The true test in a company is when there is a problem and this is where LKN plumbing shines. Unfortunately there was a problem with the new gas regulator and I called Steve late Friday evening and he called me right back to discuss the issue. The crew, including the owner Steve, were at my house Saturday morning to diagnose and fix the problem. They replaced the gas regulator and I haven’t had a problem since. We love our new tankless hot water heater and would highly recommend Steve and his crew. Thank you LKN Plumbing.

Always goes above and beyond and arrives quickly. We used them two or three times so far replacing toilets, faucets and most recently updating our worn out water heater with a new tankless one. Prices were good and never felt pressured - Steve just layed out the options and let us choose. The big plus dealing with them is that they call you back.... We went through 5-6 plumbers who said they would schedule a time to come out and they never called back, some didnt even show up when we scheduled a time! It feels good to deal with a company that actually does what it says. If you have any issues or need anything please so yourself a favor and call them! A++

This guy is a joke. He installed two Rheem Electric Water Heater, 36 gal,240VAC,1 Ph PROE36 S2 RH95 which can be bought for under $700 each, but my total to install was $3600 and they were here 3 hours. Amazing they make $2200 for 3 hours to install. I think I need to quit my day job! I even called to get a break down for a price and he couldnt give me one, saying they buy in bulk.Check out their Better Business Bureau. They are not accredited, and have similar complaints.Look elsewhere!

I will say that this company provided excellent customer service, called back promptly and the worker who came to my house was very courteous and profession, as well as helpful (telling me what tool to purchase in the future to do it myself next time). However, I am rating it lower for two specific reasons. First, there was there was no estimate given prior to the work being completed. I understand that in some cases, like mine, that things need to be taken apart prior to learning what the problem is. In my case, My shower handle was no longer working and I could not shut off the shower properly. I had taken the handle off myself to see if I could fix it, realized it was more complicated than I could handle, and called Lake Norman plumbing for help. But based on what I described and what he saw, the worker could have at least told me an estimate, hourly rate of labor, or anything prior to completing the job. Especially considering that after it was done he said that my brand of shower handle does this every once in a while. If that was know, and you knew the parts needed, which he walked in with, I think giving me a price would be fair before starting. Second, the price itself. For being there a half hour and replacing one part of my shower handle, I was charged $240.00. As another reviewer indicated, if I paid by charge card they would add another 4% to the bill. In all good conscious I cant recommend this company based on the lack of communication about pricing and the price for service itself. Which is a shame, because as I started with, they are very professional and responsive.

Nick came to install my garbage disposal which I bought through Lowes along with the installation. He is very professional and polite.Before installation, I went online and watch several Youtube videos. I was on the fence about installing it myself. But ultimately go against the idea because eventually I want to find a good plumbing company close by for bigger repairs later.When Nick was doing the repair, I asked him whether he is ok with me just watching. He cheerfully replied yes and he had no problem with it. I saw him installed the disposal with every single step that I saw online and doing everything properly that those videos suggested. He also tested the leakage with the ways video suggested. He even wiped down all the smudges.A good experience and will definitely use the company again.

Unbelievable experience!! We had a customer of ours that we were working at her house call and ask for a price to have 5 toilets put in. The OWNER told her $165 a toilet and so the lady said she would call back because she felt like that was a little high. He then proceded to talk to someone in the background and say This lady wants 5 f****ing toilets put in and she is b****ing about the price. I am pretty sure he though the phone was cut off. I then called back and spoke with him. He first said that he talked to her and then when I told him why I was calling he said on it must have been one of my guys and he just left...YEA RIGHT!!!! I would NEVER send anyone to this company EVER!!!!! Amazing what people say behind your back!!!!!!!

Woke up to frozen pipes. Advised me on how to unfreeze the pipe rather than charge me eventually for a service call for busted pipes Thanks for putting customer service over making a buck!

Our water heater went out on a weekend and Lake Norman Plumbing made it out the same day and quickly got the job done.

I felt we were WAY overcharged TOTAL RIPOFF ! for 1 hr and 18min worth of labor and maybe 60.00 worth of material that came to $650.00? then charge you 4% of the bill if you use a credit card?, I also uploaded a pic of the gaping hole they left in my kitchen, they DID NOT inform us before hand that this was to be the end result, (was told this is the norm and took the sheet rock with them after I asked them NOT to)
