Wesley from Dr. Computer Repair provided professional and personal service. Even though he could not repair the problem I had due to parts being unavailable, he was timely and available on short notice.Note: He works out of his home, so yes, your Google GPS brought you to the right place.

Dr. Computer did a great job fixing my mac when it shut down due to the large amount of data on my computer. He was able to get it back working again and even told me what new type of drive and memory I would need to make the computer better. Once I received the products from Amazon, he put the memory and drive into my computer for free. Thank you very much for your professional service.

Had a great experience with Wesley. I had the Blue Screen of Death and my laptop was basically a vegetable and he was able to restore it. Fair price and very available.

Warning: Shady practice with possible scams.I identified to Dr. Computer that my PC had been infected with malware and expressed the concern that my BIOs was also affected which was used as a ploy against me. After leaving my PC at his house, some 30+ minutes later I received a phone call from him telling me that the BIOs password was not working and was incorrect of which I attested that it was correct. I turn around and go back to his house to try my password and upon the screen was an enter password prompt which was not my BIOs password prompt. He was running a bootable USB connected to my device (of which I was presently unaware) as a ploy that my BIOs was locked and essentially bricked. Upon him making a few statements that my PC was useless now (any proper computer geek would know otherwise) I decided to take my leave *WITH* my computer. Im not sure if he was expecting me to just leave it, offer to sell it to him or charge me surplus to fix the imaginary problem. On my way home I pondered over this quite a bit and was very worried that he installed something that would prevent me accessing it. Im also worried that whatever program he was running from the USB recorded my attempted passwords. When I arrive home I immediately plug in my PC in a network isolated environment and the computer boots as normal into the actual BIOs with my BIOs password working as expected. I am very thankful that he did not change the actual BIOs password and truly brick my motherboard.Whatever rogue program he showed me and tried to convince me that this was my BIOs password prompt is non-existent on my computer. Also to note, I dont think I will be able to respond to whatever he says towards this review because of how the reviews here work. No matter what response he has, the man isnt as knowledgeable about computers as he purports or thinks. Im sure he gets away with stuff like this all the time from people that arent very tech savvy. If you really want a trustworthy computer repair, send it in to a legit tech company.

I was losing my mind when my laptop completely stopped responding and wouldnt boot up. It had all of my schoolwork on it and I was in the middle of the course. Luckily I called Wesley at Dr. Computer who was able to get to my computer within the hour. He did a diagnosis and advised me of the potential courses of action. I decided to wait before buying another laptop, and thank god I did. Wesley went the extra mile and took my laptop apart, cleaned everything up, and then put it all back together just in case. Whatever he did fixed the issue and I was up and running again the next day for a completely reasonable fee. Im glad I went to Wesley, not only is he a veteran but he went above and beyond to fix my laptop.

Its rare that I need assistance with a computer problem, but when I do going forward, I wont trust anyone other than Dr. Computer Repair. Not only did he fix a blue-screen-of-death issue with my computer without having to replace my hard drive (which I had resigned myself to doing), but he also ended up charging me less than originally quoted.Whats more, when I called back about an issue that I thought was an honest mistake on his part (as it turns out, the mistake was all mine), he handled the complaint kindly and professionally and went above and beyond to make things right -- again, despite the fact that the mistake was mine, not his.Its rare to find a computer professional whos as honest as he is professional, but Ive found one. And I wont trust anyone else with my computer going forward.

My laptop had a noisy fan for a few weeks. The technician fixed it in about two hours; however, when I got it home it would no longer power on. I returned the following day to have them look at it, but they wanted to charge me an additional fee. I declined to pay again. I then asked for a refund of my previous payment. They refused to return my money. So yeah, I gave them $82.50 to break my laptop even worse than it already was.

I was a victim of a vicious internet scam in which the perpetrator locked me out of my laptop. I called Microsoft Tech Support and they tried to resolve the issue but they couldnt via telephone. I needed to get my computer fixed ASAP so I searched the internet and saw Dr. Computer (Wesley). After a brief conversation, he asked that I drop off the computer. When I dropped off the computer, Mr. Wesley recommended that I return two hours later for pick up. Two hours later, my computer was unlocked, my files were recovered and the system ran better than before. He fixed my computer in 2 hours for $75 which was a fraction of what the Microsoft Tech Support intended to charge. Mr. Wesley knows his stuff; he is an excellent computer repair tech. I strongly recommend him for any of your computer repair needs. The dude is really good at what he does. I hope he keeps up the GREAT work!!!!!

Dropped my computer off, charging port was not keeping a charge. Told me he could not fix it! Did not tell me he tried to solderize the port and did a horrific job. Short circuited my mother board. I had to take it to professionals and cost was $700 because of Mr.Computer’s mess, instead of the $160 cost to fix the charging port. He never called me back or took responsibility for his mess up! I keep the charger port he so badly soldered to remind me to always take your items to reputable organizations that stand behind their work and or mess ups!!!
