I signed up for a trial class online. I was surprised, unprepared and unhappy when, upon arrival, I was told that I needed to buy $16 SOCKS in order to take part in the class (I was wearing regular socks and sneakers). I felt like it was totally unnecessary and purely a money grab. The class was ok and the instructor was kind but for this reason and all of the incessant calls and guilt ridden texts that were sent to me after the class to ensure that I paid for the totally unnecessary socks, I will not be returning to or recommending this studio.

I have been going to barre every single week (multiple times) since September 2017. When I graduated from college and moved home to Montclair I was worried I wouldnt find another studio that I loved...I did a little barre hopping around town and finally landed here and I am so glad I did! Pure Barre Montclair has been an amazing experience since I started going in June 2018.The instructors are upbeat and motivating. The workouts are great - especially the ab workouts!!! I always feel strong, relaxed and happy after a 50 min class. I also love that they offer pure barre empower which is a little more upbeat than the pure barre classic its nice to switch it up sometimes.You dont have to be a good dancer (trust me haha) or anything along those lines to do well and benefit from these amazing, sculpting workouts. Everyone who knows me know that I swear by barre!

Awesome class. Great staff. Love, love love PURE BARRE. Pure Barre is not only helping me to become a stronger dancer but a stronger person overall. As soon as I feel like giving up, I hear the instructor say - You are stronger than you think! My body feels and looks amazing.

The ladies at Pure Barre are lovely. All the teachers are very welcoming and encouraging. It’s different from other workouts I usually do but extremely challenging. I’m ten classes in and feel improvements.

I was doing a trial class today...never attended to these type of class or this place. Class started at 1045am, and because of a construction traffic on Bloomfield Avenue and parking I got there at 1046am. I stood outside knocking on the door and calling for like 5 minutes. Finally, the instructor comes to the door just to tell me I am late with an attitude. I tried to explain but she just kept saying class started at 1045am. When I go to a place to workout I make it my home, and the people there become my family. Obviously, this place is not a place of that nature. For future, you should explain that the doors are locked and that is very time managed. You guys have no idea what I went through to make it there to just leave because of the lack of welcoming at this place. I was considering becoming a monthly member, you lost a customer.

The customer service here is incredible. The owners are so friendly and very helpful! The classes are excellent and the instructors really take the time to keep an eye on your form. The music is always good, its clean, they always have lovely products in the bathrooms, and super cute clothing to top off the experience.Highly recommended!

I love this place!! The classes are small, there are women of all shapes, sizes, ages ethnicities and no feel of competition......the instructors are helpful, if you need to modify something, they will help you......the instructors and owners are so nice and practically remember your name from day one!! The only negative thing I could say is sometimes the music is to loud, however Im sensitive to noise.

LOVE pure barre right from the start its an amazing workout. I have already seen changes in my body in just a few classes. I am hooked. I love to do an early morning class it gives me energy for the whole day. The studio is clean and new. Location is right in the heart of Montclair.

Everyone here are friendly and sooo helpful! Wendy and Chrisel are welcoming and they really get to know their clients. In addition, my favorite teachers (Jenna, Kaitlin, Lisa, and Renee) are the best! They push and challenge their students, while guiding you to perfect your form. I definitely enjoy coming in for all the Barre workouts!

Classes are fun, but definitely work. All instructors are great too. Overall a nice studio and good workout.

I love going to Pure Barre in Montclair. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and the classes are hard! Easy location to get to and good class times too.

Ive been going to Pure Barre Montclair for a month now! Wendy and Chrissel have an amazing studio and the instructors get to know all of their members! Each one has a unique teaching method and skills, so each class is never the same. I just finished my intro month and Im already seeing results. To top it all off, they run great specials that make it affordable and keep me looking forward to every class.

Pure barre montclair classes and instructors are fun plus challenging. The retail section of clothes is great .

Great workout! Challenging and enjoyable, stick with it and you will see results.

This studio is awful with rude people. Even when your 5 mins late to a class you get charged and not let in!

This is a great place to come for a horrible workout with FAT instructors and RUDE owners. also they sell the TACKIEST retail. seriously instructors stop chewing!!!!
