Air-Tro, Inc replaced our commercial warehouse AC/heating units and the duct work into the building. I secured 3 bids for this, not-inexpensive, project and their bid was very competitive, if not the most competitive. What is most impressive to me is that I could not imagine the service and work to have been any better. The company was very communicative, especially during challenging supply times due to COVID, and they gave us plenty of notice of when work would begin/end. The company even went above and beyond by doing some work not included in the bid, but their team felt was necessary to make the entire finished product top of the line. I have a twice yearly inspection of my equipment including filter changes. We have had this equipment for 15 years and it is functioning properly and well. Ill start with all the good. Called for a service call and got one the same day. Tech was efficient and fixed the issue within an hour. Issue is that when it came to the invoice; they charged close to $300 for a $20 part (I totally expect to pay double or triple a real price; just not 15 times). I had the tech call the supervisor and he was unapologetic and not only just said that is the price if it came from the book but also tried to sell me a maintenance plan. He did discount it down to the total bill of $381.23 (of which some portion, it wasnt broken out but I believe around $100 was the service call fee) from around $450. The pictures attached are the part in question. I will not use this company again and suggest that if you do; you are very careful if you need parts.

The workmen were on time, courteous, and professional. There were some issues with my attic that they were able to solve with some creative thinking, and they also installed a catwalk and some lighting in the attic at no extra charge. Everything is installed now, and the heat and AC is working perfectly.

When I called on Saturday, I spoke with a professional, was given a base quote for a repair visit. The problem had become intermittent after that. Mike called before he left, arrived on time, ran tests and made adjustments. He asked if I wanted more in depth testing, telling me what the cost would be. I said yes. There has been no recurrence of trouble since. I recommend Air-Tro. They are pros!1/19/21 Update: The intermittent problem returned. Guess we wait for it to become repeatable and diagnosable. (No fault of Air-Tro, stay tuned)

Great company and used they for 30 years

I needed a mini-split installed with a quick turn-around time and Air-Tro delivered. The estimator/sales person Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive and did an excellent job of scoping out and discussing the install options with me. The installers did a great job, and the mini-split looks great both inside and where all the outside parts are mounted. And of course the unit works perfectly. Pricing was a little high, but not outrageous, and in the end was definitely worth it given the responsiveness and professional job with the installation. Id give Air-Tro a very strong recommendation.

Air-Tro installed a complete Lennox heating and air conditioning system, including all duct work, in a 1905 Historic single story home located in Echo Park.Previously the home was equipped with a natural gas wall heater.After considerable research, I selected Lennox as the vendor and high efficiency specifications for both the heating and air conditioning systems to minimize the operating costs.The furnace installation was completed into the attic with ducting and air vents into each of the rooms.The furnace selected utilizes a variable speed blower motor for minimum power usageThe air conditioning unit was located just outsideof the rear entrance to the home and is very quiet.The installation was completed 100% with no added work required. Overall Air-Tro did an outstanding job!

We had Kevin R come out to service our compressor today and must report, we are very happy with the service he provided. Not only did Kevin diagnose and fix the problem, he took it one step further and analyzed the actual cause of the problem. We purchased a 2 ton AC unit. Air-Tro rep Peter was more knowledgeable than all the other individuals coming to do quotes. He arranged the pricing and crane to meet our needs without issues. They were on time and delivered an excellent carrier machine. Their installers were good. One installer was better than the other but as a team they got the job done. Our other AC repairman checked their work and said they did a good job. They installed the gas line a little crooked but it was installed safely.

Ive used Air-Tro for many years and find them to be very professional, never cut corners and resolve my heating and air conditioning issues. They are not the cheapest service in town, but you can count on the products they provide to last years.

I work long weekdays, and only had weekends free for our yearly service. Received a text regarding a reminder, answered back the text and said Saturday if available. Answered back quickly, with a four hour window on a Saturday. The called at 9am for a 8-12 window and said on their way. He was masked and courteous. Did a check and then I noted an issue that i was having with a vent. He said no problem and 10 minutes later he was done. Just Professionals all around as was our original install.

WAAAAYYY Overpriced!!!! – Shop around for prices first.I had a very poor experience with them. I called for service because my system wasn’t cooling as well as it has in the past – but it’s still working. When the tech arrived, he immediately pushed me to replace the system. (It has half its life left)The tech wanted to charge me $2,000 to “sniff” the lines (with a tester that costs $200.) I was charged $144 per pound of R-22. I know the material cost is less than $20 per pound. I was also charged $422 for a small can of line sealant. The exact same can is available online for $59. All the while he kept hustling me to buy a new system.Before you call these people, you should do your homework and find out how much the materials actually cost!!! I will never use these people again!!!

I called to set up an appointment and was given the customary time frame. Chris, the technician, called me when he was on his way. Arrived right at the time stated and with his protective gear including mask and shoe coverings. He asked me for the location of the equipment. Because it is in the attic, he also brought in covering for our flooring. Completed all the work inside and then went outside to check the outdoor equipment. It all took about an hour to finish everything. Completed the paperwork, explained to me exactly what he did, took payment and left. He also sent me pictures of what he checked so I know exactly what he did. Great!

After our old system broke down, they did an awesome job installing a whole new super efficient HVAC system, professionally and on-time in the middle of a pandemic and during fire-season. Quality work, definitely reccomend.

They were clean, neat and respectful. They cleaned up any mess that was made and left my house looking as good as it looked when they arrived.Oh, yes, the air conditioner works great!

Overpriced and dishonest! My upstairs A/C stopped working. They came the same day and replace the capacitor. They used a Turbo 200 multipurpose capacitor that cost $55 on Amazon. Their charge for the part alone was $243! 15 minutes after the tech left the A/C broke again. They returned and said it needed a new fan motor. 3 days later they said that the part wasnt available and offered to quote me on a new A/C system. I then called the HVAC contractor that my company uses and they were able to locate the parts. I called Air-Tro and offered to pay them a fair price for the capacitor but they are sticking by their 500% parts markup. Now Im just going to fight the charge with AmEx.

We just had Air-Tro install a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Our existing maintenance contract was with another company, who was unable to provide a new unit for 8 weeks, despite being a regular service client. We saw in our paperwork that Air-Tro had installed our original unit 30 years earlier and called them. Kevin came out and assessed the issue. He explained everything with tremendous clarity. We had the units installed within 1 week. They were amazing, clean, professional, and very comfortable to be around. I cannot recommend them enough. Our system was blowing hot air instead of cold and it is 99 degrees out today. Service guy Jaime Orozco came out and not only fixed the problem, but impressed us with his courtesy.
