We endeavored on this project on Aug-Dec 2020 to replace deck existing deck add roof and enclose the deck, they changed a few crews as they subcontract, every crew promised to comeback and finish when they get parts but never returned to completed the touch ups as illustrated in the photos: adjust loose boards, fill in the nail holes, adjust loose net and replace trim for netting that they used in pieces. Ive email/called Shaun the owner to no avail. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS with such company.

Great experience from beginning to end. We needed siding done for the house and called for an estimate. He came quickly and had a quote that afternoon. What I liked the most is he insisted to call others first. That really made me feel comfortable with him. They started the next week and the crew was awesome. They did a fantastic job. We can’t wait to use them for the deck when we get this project paid off. Whether you decide to use them do yourself a favor and get an estimate from them. Absolutely no regrets. We definitely picked the right company.

My in-laws signed a contract with Green Exterior Remodeling in September in hopes to have a remodeled deck by our wedding (that they hosted) on November 7th, 2020. A slick talking salesperson let them know the timeline wouldnt be a problem and they believed them.Fast forward to the middle of October, and they havent heard anything. With the wedding around the corner they reached out to the salesperson to find out that they didnt have the materials needed to complete the project, because of COVID. Ok, we get it, but no call? Anyway, they pick an alternative, but of course, it is coming up on the wedding date. So will this be able to be done by Nov. 7th? For sure. Fast forward to a week before the wedding and no one has started the project. After numerous calls to the salesperson and the owner, they finally get a response that the project will start Monday. Ok, they say, but the wedding is next weekend. Wont be a problem.Well, its Friday November 6th and not only is the stone not done, but theres no floor on the deck (picture of what the deck looked like on November 6th included). The owner never responded to the numerous calls that week -when they tried to discuss that the workers dont come until 9:30 and leave before 4:00 and that doesnt seem like they are in a rush to finish -but eventually another salesperson reached out, said it wouldnt be done, but got the guys to finish the floor.So, they finish the flooring (barely) and leave the unfinished stone and no railings for our wedding the next day. After creating a game plan during our rehearsal dinner, my mother and bridesmaids went to a fabric store to find something to cover up the undone stone, while the groomsmen found a solution for the undone railing.The morning of the wedding, my bridesmaids took turns getting hair and make up done quickly, to then go sew together linen and hang it to cover up all of the undone work.- My mother in law lost sleep- My mother lost sleep (over the pictures that were paid for, the hair and make up that was paid for then sweat off, & of course because their kids already had to change everything about their wedding during COVID and now get to figure out how to fix ALL of this the NIGHT BEFORE the wedding).- & I lost memories of all of my bridesmaids getting ready because they had to cover up the mess that was left (pictures of them covering it up that morning also included)After all of this, I wasnt going to say anything because my in-laws are adults and can handle their own stuff, but then when they put a hold on the final payment until he completed the job (because there was still small undone work at the beginning of December that no one came back to finish) he wrote a letter claiming they were unresponsive and unprofessional- absolutely absurd and I cant believe someone would have the audacity to make false claims like that after providing such terrible customer service.He then had a few workers come to the house to tie up the loose ends, but not without bullying them into signing a form first that said he was finished (i.e. he said he wouldnt finish until they signed it).Now, based on everything else, I will assume the owner will come back and say in the contract I had 10 weeks to complete and November 7th was before that date. And to that I would have two responses, 1. it still wasnt done in 10 weeks. and 2. someone who cared about their clients would have said, look I know I said it could be done in time, but with the delays it cant and I dont want to start and not finish by the SUPER important date.... wouldnt you agree?So, was the deck pretty when it was finally finished? yes. But, I would assume there is probably another business, with a nicer owner, more focused on what he promises his customers and caring about what they need, who can make a deck pretty.

Green Exterior remodeling are a phenomenal company from day 1 until the Pergola was completed, they were beyond reproach. They were honest and trustworthy. We highly recommend them.

Had Green Exterior Remodeling out to tackle a large install on my home. They removed all of the old Masonite siding and backer board. Installed new plywood, foam, house wrap, and Hardi board siding with new trim and soffit. They also redone my deck roof that needed to be repitched. The transformation is incredible and I basically have a new home exterior.They were easy to work with, fair pricing and got me a great finance rate for the project.I wouldnt hesitate referring Green Exterior Remodeling.

I found GXR at the Columbia, SC Home Show in January 2021. It was easy to get an appointment for an estimate on enclosing our screened in porch. Micky Flynn was the sale rep that came out within a few days. He was punctual, followed Covid precautions, and was very helpful with suggestions at the initial visit and throughout the design process. I also contacted another contractor for an estimate. Micky was patient with all the changes and tweaking I was doing to the plans. I’m very fussy and wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I want. The other contractor was slower to come out and slower in getting the estimate to us for comparison. Micky was professional, personable, not pushy, and very good with follow-up and checking back to see if I had my comparison estimate. The other estimate was a little lower but I thought that GXR had a better product, better service, better sales rep, and was just an all-around better experience. The contract process was all electronic and easy to do. The office help was easy to deal with and pleasant. The technician to measure the room came out within a few days of signing the contract and Micky came with him to ensure that everything was going to be exactly how I wanted it. I give Micky Flynn and GXR a 5 out of 5 rating. I will write a follow-up review once the Sunroom is completed.

I had a very smooth, quick experience with them in getting a pergola cover for my back deck. We needed a cover badly to shade our porch, and from the initial consult with Angelo ( he was very professional and didn’t pressure me into anything) through them getting HOA approval for me and the owner coming out to double check what my project needed, it was a great experience. The crew worked quickly and left a clean work site.

I got in touch with this company through Modernize. They took up the job on re siding our home. The entire job was knocked out within a week and the employees were really nice. Though since then we’ve noticed an outdoor light has been broken and I still haven’t heard anything back from them about it. But overall a four star experience.

Phenomenal company. I had some window trim that needed to be replaced and Shaun sent out one of his foreman to complete the job. They were knowledgeable, reasonable, and on time! Awesome company and I highly recommend them for any exterior contracting project!
