I am considering doing some renovation and I called SCI because they are apart of the Trust Dale. Dustin Taylor came to my home he was prompt, honest and gave what I feel to be expert advice on the direction that I should take. He showed empathy for the situation that I was in and he spoke to me from the point of view that he just wanted to help me with the much needed renovations of this home. I contacted SCI for my place of business due to a roof leak. The leak had come through the drop ceiling before anyone in the office realized it. They came out immediately to tarp the roof. They also performed a thorough inspection in the attic space to make sure there were no other issues. Once I gained approval from corporate to repair the roof they were out the same week to complete the neccessary repairs. Everyone I dealt with at SCI was very courteous and professional. Very responsive.Ive also seen their work in other areas of construction including fencing and bathroom remodeling and have been very impressed with the quality of work.I would highly recommend SCI to anyone looking to remodel their home.

SCI recently completed a full bathroom remodel- Darleen, our project manager, was easy to work with and quick to respond and resolve any issues that surfaced. She efficiently scheduled their top notch trades to keep the project on schedule. Their mission was to ensure that we were happy with the results.

Everything I have to say about SCI could not even fit in this review. A whole lot of life has happened, but SCI has been instrumental in giving me a new outlook and vibe for my home. Good local business that provides a free consultation and roof inspection. After the inspection, David walked us through what he found and informed us of what our options were for getting our roof damage fixed. The whole experience was seamless and customer service was superior.

SCI replaced my roof in 1 day, they were awsome.There was no mess left around my home, they put on an architectural shingles which made my house look so nice. They also redone my deck it was a design the company owner had and I love how good it looks and how sturdy it is. Later I had them build my fence, ounce again it was done quickly and looks awsome. We have an appointment to have our roof replaced on 10/20/20 and have asked for a detailed report of what the roofers will be doing . We upgraded to a metal roof, with us paying the difference from what the insurance is paying. Since they will be using sub contractors, we feel we need this info.While Bobby has been great, the lady in the office (Mary), has not been very helpful. We were told our share would be a certain amount, but then after we agreed to the job, our share as well as the full cost of the job, went up $700.We have absolutely nothing in writing, and are not very comfortable at this point.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with S.C.I.! My process began with Triston who was amazing, and was completed with Petey who was equally amazing! Working with contractors (especially as a woman) can be a daunting and annoying task, but these gentleman and this company worked tirelessly to ensure that my process went smoothly! Even dealing with my insurance company (who was extremely difficult), Triston & Petey made the whole thing easy! Not to mention my roof looks amazing! I would recommend this company a million times over for the professional & seamless experience that I had with Triston & Petey alone!

My experience with SCI was nowhere near what I was expecting. I really should have chosen not to go with them when my project manager joked to me about why contractors are called “con”tractors.From the beginning it took weeks to get the final approved quote because my pm was unresponsive due to how busy he was. Once I finally approved it, I was told work would start the Monday after thanksgiving. Work did not start until December 9. I was told the work would take 4-6 weeks only if we had to wait on permits and inspections. Work took a full 9 weeks and I had the permit before work was started and the inspectors always came the next day.At every step in our process, mistakes were made. For example, doorways placed incorrectly in the framing, plumbing in wrong locations, electrical wiring done incorrectly and fixture locations wrong/missing, and this is just in the rough in process (which took a FULL 4 weeks). Less than 3 weeks into work I requested a new PM because mine was dropping the ball on everything and the mistakes were putting us behind schedule. I was told this wasn’t possible so we kept on. We opted to purchase several things on our own because we could not depend on our PM to get everything in a timely manner. Fast forward 3 more weeks and work still isn’t completed. There have been countless more mistakes and we have at this point had several conversations with upper management and the owner about our problems. They promise to resolve things and get our project back on track. They did keep tabs on my project and have regular conversations with me and visits to check in. I greatly appreciated this from them!Back to the errors: Our PM opted to do the floors himself to save money which only causes more problems. Instead of telling us the color swatches he gave us to pick from were for exterior concrete and allow us the opportunity to pick a new color, he decided to pick a color he had used in the past and liked himself. The floors came out orange at first and we requested another coat to make it darker. It’s not the color we wanted at all, but we accepted it to get our basement back. (Also, during this process, he got stain over every wall and baseboard which resulted in everything needing to get painted again)Every subcontractor that came into our home somehow managed to cause more damage than they were there to fix. The second to last workers that were there to finish touch ups ended up damaging my brand new hvac mini splits that were just installed a few days prior. SCI did opt to replace the units.At the end of week 9, work has finally been completed. There are still some things that weren’t done (hanging of shelves originally promised, reinstallation of the blinds they took down, writing on our exposed cement walls from plumbers, electricians, and framers) but my husband was so sick of having people in our house for 9 straight weeks that we have chosen to correct them ourselves.All of the problems in our home could have been avoided if proper planning and communication was done by our PM to the subcontractors he hired. The teams were not provided with a proper floor plan to help them know what to do. I had hoped to have a better experience than what I did as I have several projects that I would like completed in my home. Next time I will be going with another company.I will end by saying the final result turned out okay and is pretty much what we were expecting, but the journey to this point was a nightmare.

I worked with Tristan Bell. He was very professional and straight forward with what I could expect. No surpise fees or long waits for anything. He took the time to make sure I knew what was going to happen and gave me options for getting the project done in a reasonable time frame. I had storm damage and discontinued shingles. Representstives come to the door in a no soliciting neighborhood and get offended when you tell them that they should not be going door to door.Talked to the owner and his response is that they are not selling anything so its not soliciting.It would be understandable if the salesmen were not aware of the non soliciting policy but when told them, they get hostile and pushy.

Steve with SCI was in my neighborhood working on another customers house when I stopped him and asked him to evaluate my roof. He came over later the same day to evaluate it! And within a week I had both Steve and my insurance adjuster out together and my roof was approved by insurance. One week later my roof was being replaced. SCI employees showed up early, worked all day, and completed the job all in one day! Steve has been extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I would surely hire SCI and Steve again for future projects!

These guys put my roof on my house and after a week the roofing on the corners, in the roofing in the back of the house came apart. Contacted the company and spoke to Danny the roofing manager. He lied staying he would be out on that following Monday no call no show. But Kevin the sales agent keep calling me for the other half of the check from the insurance company. that they not going get until my roof is installed right.They have left their left over material in my yard it s is going on 3 weeks and have not came back get it .Dont hire these guys they not worth the time or the trouble. and I don t believe their worker are certified they are Mexican they found to do cheap labor.
