Great place to get your haircut. Very professional barbers. Good vibes.Just wish they had an appointment system to cut on wait time but it’s worth it.

I’ve been coming here every two weeks for about 6 months now for a fade and beard trim. Every barber there has cut my hair at least once and I have yet to be disappointed. They are all very skilled barbers and take pride in what they do. If you’re like me and want to stay looking fresh then you can’t go wrong here! And don’t worry if you don’t speak Spanish.

Absolutely wonderful. I walked in there hoping to find a new experienced barber, someone you can trust to cut your hair and trim your beard. These guys are pros. It is very hard to describe what you want, but in this case the guys heard me out and then in a very polite and professional manner recommended something slightly different based on my hair and their expertise. They were so confident that without hesitation I said: go ahead, I trust your advice. I was pleasantly surprised and walked away super happy! Give these guys a try, highly recommend!

Great cut but I got skipped over a couple times by regulars (non appointments) that came in after me. Three stars because it took way to long to get in a chair based on how busy they were.I do want to reiterate that it was a very good cut.

This is the best barbershop in the entire state of North Carolina. You are never ever going to find a better barbershop than this one. If you are looking for the freshest cut then you must come here. Every customer that comes in looking like a hotmess ends up leaving this barbershop looking like a ten. I’ve been to over ten barbershops/ salons in NC and this is def. a NY barbershop. Trust me you won’t regret getting your cut here. My favorite barber is Nan, he has the best customer service and God blessed him with the best skills in town.

I asked the guy to give me a fade and he ended up doing a taper and then he fixed it to a fade but messed up the back and sounded agitated when I told him what I wanted like if the haircut was free Some of the barbers there are really good just one bad apple

Best place in monroe for a fade and beard trim. Been getting cut here for a few months and havent had any issues. Make sure to give yourself a little extra time though, they can be busy at times.

They wanted to talk too much & did not welcome me as I came through the door. I sat for 15 minutes & still no greetings or service provided. They wanted to talk about people, crime, & make degrading remarks about others.🤔🤨🧐😡

UPDATE:The price went up to $20 after the major closings due to COVID. Still decided to keep my business here due to liking the cut. I have made appointments on several occasions and still have to sit and wait for multiple people to be completed before being taken, so I decided to just go in and wait without an appointment. I sat for nearly an hour and was told there would be 1 person in front of me, but ended up being 2. When I asked about it, I was asked if I made an appointment by a different barber - I answered that I did not this time because of what I wrote above. I decided to leave and will be checking out some other barbers/stylists in the area.I will never knock their skill, there are some highly talented hands there, and the fades are all but perfect - but between waiting and not being given better info or being treated like the loyal customer I have been - I think its worth me checking out what else is in Monroe. I think there is still something to be said about loyalty to a business and it should be reciprocated to the customer.FYI- I texted Nan, the owner (who was also my barber) and he did apologize to me. I accepted the apology and hold no grudges, just want to be treated like the return customer and referring customer that I am.********************************************************ORIGINAL POST:I moved my business here to check out my options after my barber left. Im happy with my new barber and even happier that my fade is to my liking. You can speak English and be okay but youll hear open Spanish conversation... FYI. I have been back several times now. Mans cut is $15... Beard is more. I have watched others and all the barbers push out quality fades/cuts etc. There is also a female side. The shop is quaint and comfortable for the wait. Because the cuts are quality, youll wait longer than a chain cutting joint.
