This barbershop is fantastic. Its a simple cut, but your hair is cut well. If you want to talk to Jim you can, or if you want to go my route which is to sit in silence and not have to converse you can do that as well. The prices are reasonable and the visits typically go on no longer than 10 to 15 minutes.

This was my husbands first visit to Dons Barber Shop, and we were impressed with the haircut and how Don took the time to make sure we were completely happy with the cut. I say we because my husband wanted my input as well.

I feel lucky to of found this barbershop. It is a great little gem in the heart of Monroe. The owner was very laid back and easy going. I thought it was really cool to hear him tell me a little bit about this history of his familys shop. He gave a PHENOMENAL hair cut reasonable prices. I will most defiantly return to get my ears lowered again.

Ok so the sign says Dons, but the owner is Jim, and heres pretty cool. A man of few words unless you bring up old science fiction stuff. Hair cuts are standard barber shop fare, decor is old war memorabilia, gun & hot rod magazines, and some old starship models. Fast service, cheap prices, no frills no gimmicks old school barber.

I have been going to get my hair cut by Jim for over twenty years. You know he does dioramas with GI Joes?
