They had what I wanted and we made a deal. When I went to my bank to see the paperwork the numbers had changed. They doubled back and said this is what we agreed to. The sales person had given an extra $1500 towards my trade and an additional $170 for an option I wanted and the new car didn’t have. The manager argued with me about what the agreed terms were. Since I was driving the car on an extended test drive, I told him I’d bring it back. He was fine with that. I ended up buying another vehicle at a higher trim level for $500 over what they were asking for that vehicle. The other dealership gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade. Kunes messaged me the day before I signed paperwork on the new vehicle to tell me that the manager would honor the same offer that I denied. Clueless! Did I mention, financing? They got me a great rate! 4.97%!!! Chrysler is offering 0% for 48 months and $3000 rebate and that’s what I have on the new vehicle. They salesman argued about financing and rebates as well. Do your homework and double check what they put in front of you!!

Terrible service. They had my truck for 7 months before it got fixed and it was under warranty through them. I would not recommended them. They would not give me a loaner I finally got on after 6 months of my truck being there. It’s a scam dealership stay away!!

Was told my warranty work would be done by a certified technician...only to be told at the appointment time that they didnt have a Chrystler certified tech, but they should be able to do the work...it would take 30 to 45 minutes. Had I not needed it fixed before a trip I would have schedule elsewhere. An hour and a half later I finally get my vehicle back...they left it running...I turned it off and back on...STILL an illuminated check engine light. No doubt they reset the light in hope Id just leave since my vehicle was running.2 hours for a 30-45 min repair I finally get my vehicle back, at which point my husband has shown up and he is told the plug for the sensor that needed replaced didnt fit so they rewired it! Now super concerned they messed with my electrical system on a vehicle with LOTS of electrical components. Needless to say it will be going to visit a certified technician and my husband took the plug they took off of it. NEVER will we be visiting this shotty place again for ANYTHING.Lets not forget to mention their staff was smoking in the shop doorway.2 week update....hey guess what....2 weeks later and my vehicle is in a different shop for the EXACT same issue! These fools wired it BACKWARDS and the sensor burnt up. Take my advice and travel a bit further south to Macomb. They are treating us right and taking care of the mess these fools made....Ill be making the trip to Macomb from now on. Avoid the Monmouth location like the plague!!2nd update...still dont have my van back...Kunes in Macomb has been taking care of me, brought me a loaner after discovering the issue these fools in Monmouth caused. However I just got a phone call that their negligence also caused a module issue so now we are waiting on those parts. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

If you are looking for a used vehicle DO NOT purchase one here. Even if they agree to fix an issue with the vehicle they will not help you and make it a complete hassle to get the issue taken care of. I will personally never buy another vehicle used or new from them.

When I went in the car that was presented to me was nowhere on my list to look at but I am completely in love with it. Kyle who helped me was super awesome and the whole process was quick and painless(unless you count handing over money youd rather go shopping with as painful😂) but I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend them!

A great price for the service I was looking for. I needed my 4 tires swapped out to winter tires and Kunes got me in on an appointment in two days. The only thing that wasnt great was the wait time while I was at the service center. I was quoted a time of an hour and a half but I ended up waiting two and a half hours on the day I went in. Not sure if all repairs are like this but I would recommend having extra time when you visit for service!

Sumer was very helpful and had answers to our questions about the car we were test driving. I recommend Kunes Country to everyone and see Sumer or another sales agent.

***SPOT DELIVERY AND YO-YOSaturday afternoon on 7/11 drove 30 miles from Iowa to Monmouth to look around with no intentions to buy and ended up finding something suitable within our budget. The contract was decent based on my credit.my trade in, $500 down,$330 a month at 8.58% through I H Mississippi Valley in Moline Illinois. So I signed the contract and paid them the 500 downpayment and gave them title and keys for the trade in.Over the coarse this week they kept requesting more information. I gave them everything they requested in a timely manner. I wake up Friday morning with a message stating your financing fell through the lender denied my loan and I needed sign a new contract with a different lender that will honor the terms of original contract but at 19.19% apr and $425 a month payments with Green State Credit union in North Liberty Iowa. This is over budgetI got to thinking this is not right. If the original contract was signed by both partied,downpayment was made,lender approved the loan then its legal and binding after researching dealership fraud and scams. Everything I read matched most of my experience with this dealership. They are in Breach of contract,lied to me,used a fraudulent date on the second contract to make it look like it was the original.I plan on returning the car asking for my downpayment money back and walking away.You people are deceitful crooks

I was in contact with one of their salesman prior to driving to the Monmouth location. Currently 36 weeks pregnant, sick with a cold, and had my other 2 children with me. I asked if we could verify everything via phone before driving in only to be told no. Confirmed what I owed on my current vehicle with salesman, provided pictures of my vehicle as well as VIN number. Was told they would pay my existing loan off and could get me into a new Journey. I expressed confirmation that they would in fact make a deal as I am obviously in need of a 3rd row vehicle with expecting my third child very soon! Confirmed they would pay off my loan. He was excited to set up an appointment and get things rolling. I went to the location per our arranged appointment and I must say, walking in the store I did not receive the customer service I expected. No one said hello or even acknowledged me. I walked to the first desk and informed the gentleman I had an appointment. Troubling to look up from his phone, asked who I was here to see. It turns out it was him. After spending 2.5 hours in the store reviewing vehicles online and driving a couple they had on the lot I made a decision on which one I wanted! I was pre-approved through my bank, had already been told we could make a deal, so I thought this process was about wrapped up. I was so wrong! They come back after about 15 minutes to tell me they won’t pay off my loan and cannot make me a deal. When I expressed frustration they shrugged their shoulders and told me “sorry.” I confirmed I had messages saying they would and also brought up the add that states “We’ll pay off your loan NO MATTER WHAT YOU OWE!” Again was basically told too bad, it’s not happening. So now that I wasted half my day, took my kids to a sitter, and was made to look like a fool I’m leaving with the same vehicle and confused on what their point was. Why was I told yes one day and the next no?! I have never been treated so poorly and made to feel so stupid!! I called the corporate office and felt like I got somewhere when she told me I should be expecting a call from the Monmouth branch. Never received that phone call. I received a generic email about my experience and that they hoped I was able to get into a vehicle..... 😳🤬😤

Someone forged my signature for a cancellation on the warranty for my car (without my knowledge). The current finance manager Melissa was extremely rude and condescending, dismissing my claims because the signature was there. Travis was sympathetic to the situation and offered to have the shop take a look but still was trying to sell me a monthly warranty.Below is a comparison of my actual signature on the left and the forged signature on the right. The second image is the cancellation request that show many inconsistencies--handwritten notes, incorrect cancellation mileage, and my forged signature of course.Shop here and risk identity theft! I had asked information on a Jeep. (I am from 1.5 hr away) I was scheduled to go in for a test drive, had that all set up. Only thing I asked was for someone to let me know if they were able to get the Jeep to their Monmouth location. Never got a call... I had to call them, they said they didn’t even know I was coming and that they had to see if the Jeep was on the way. 10 min later “Oh Im sorry it sold this afternoon.” I found that a little fishy. So throughout the week I would check their website and see if the Jeep sold... it never did. It’s still up in their website... in fact the price was raised!!!! Same Jeep. 2015 Rubicon.... same exact one. I knew they had forgot about my test drive. I knew it. So they came back and said that it was sold. I have the messages to prove the original price it was for and the messages where “oh so sorry, sold this afternoon.” Tells you how their organization is.

Went in to get two tires switched on my friends new vechical and they were very quick to get it done!!! Got there had the vechical pulled in before we sat down took them no time to get us back on the road!!! Nice little sitting area with refreshments and a vending machine...all the workers were very friendly!!! Great location right off the highway and good selection of new and used vechicals!!!

When we came to Kunes we were not looking to buy a car the same day, but after testing driving vehicles, I fell in love with a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and knew I had to take it home! Gabe was absolutely wonderful, from showing us vehicles, to making us feel at home and like he was a friend weve known for years, theres no other words than absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend was an extremely hard nut to crack, but Gabe sold me the car of my dreams and my boyfriend was so happy about it at the end of the day. Manager was really hatefully to my mother when she called about her car transmission, my dad had a massive stroke this year, and then the transmission went out of there car lucky it was under warranty but that be said after the replacement they have had trouble with it, which caused a wreck. My mom told the manager that she just couldnt afford to buy a new car and manager was like you could afford to he one you just wrecked even after she told him that my dad had a stroke and they live on one income now. Needless to say when they do buy a new car it wont be from them.

My sister & brother in law bought a car in October. My brother in law had a stroke in January & was in the hospital for 3 months. The car sat for almost 4 months & when it was driven the transmission went out. It was replaced & went out again causing my sister to have a wreck. Now they refuse to replace it Said since my sister was a new driver she probably stepped on the gas instead of the brake..Shame on you Kunes for taking advantage of 2 senior citizens.You also screwed over a pastor. Just remember that God doesnt like ugly or greedy people.

Went to look at a used pickup and was impressed with the vehicle and the service. Didnt over sell us and let us express our concerns. Worked with us over the next 3 days to give me a good trade in price and a good selling price. Did all the service work I asked prior to me driving it off the lot. Also let me take it home for a day to have my mechanic look at it.

Decided to stop in after seeing a promotion they had on Facebook Get up to $4,000 Over Kelley Blue Book for Your Trade and well pay off your car NO MATTER WHAT YOU OWE and TERMINATE your existing loan or lease!. I knew what car I was looking at trading mine in for. After a few hours did some paper work was happy with the monthly payment and even had my credit ran and approved for a loan. About 4 hours in I was told they could not proceed because they could not take over the lease and buy it out. This wouldnt have been a big deal if they would have told me this before we were over 4 hours into the process. The sale guy (Adrian) I worked with was great however the sales manager was extremely unprofessional and was letting his emotions get involved. Overall they didnt even offer me a cent over KBB for my car and I wasted half of my day off for nothing...

They Brought a vehicle from Macomb we were wanting to test drive. Was the wrong vehicle. One which they told us was gone through and inspected. Although there were still kids french fries and stains and filthy throughout. Wasnt even cleaned. Didnt know anything about the vehicle or why it was dirty or where it came from but assured us they knew there was nothing wrong with it even though it had just got on the Macomb lot that day and never cleaned or inspected . Told they would fix the chipped windshield, never did. Young salesman selling vehicle had no idea what he was doing. Or anything about said vehicles. I will go out of my way to not be forced to shop there again.
