NEVER AGAIN! This location doesnt even know the meaning of customer service or professionalism! The manager Mindy didnt acknowledge or even attempt to rectify the issues I had. I spent close to $3000 in 1 month on rentals at Enterprise - Never Again! ...by the way, maybe a dress code should be enforced, beachwear is not a good look at the office.

My car was going in for repair to service king in Mokena. Enterprise and service king coordinated so that when I dropped my car off at 9:00 in the morning there was a representative there from enterprise and my car was sitting waiting for me. Could not have been easier. The repair took a day longer and I didnt have to do anything to let enterprise know. When my car was fixed I was able to just turn in the keys at service king. I have rented several other times from enterprise on La Grange road and they have always been great.

They literally gave us a car that already needed an oil change after renting it the first day we got it and needless to say, they were closed on Sunday and the warning for the engine oil read needs to engine oil service now. The car also wasn’t clean from the inside and out! You can do better Enterprise Rent A Car!!

Worst experience... i get an reservation everthink was smooth once arrived they tell me I can’t use my debit card .only a credit card.... i was really frustrated....I don’t have an credit card....Shame on you enterprise never anymore i did not use your services... i will go better to avis,hertz or budget... from today you lose a costumer and i will take care my friends as well do not use anymore enterprise rental service! Finding a car in the class that my insurance was covering was near impossible, and resulted in me calling multiple locations in my area to see what was available at each. Each of the customer service representatives were helpful at this time which is the only reason Im giving 2 stars.After locating a vehicle I went to check it out, and the car was pretty beat-up and smelled terrible. However, it was the only large SUV that was available in the area so I took it with hopes that the smell would dissipate. However, it did not which required me to exchange the car, and begin the quest of searching for a vehicle available at all of the same locations as before. I gave up, and went to the airport as I was told I could switch there. When I arrived I was told I could only switch into these 2 cars which were not the same class of car that I currently had, and after discussing with the manager they found a car that I could take.I didnt get the same walk-around check of the car, and was just handed the keys. This car again had a nasty smell to it of smoke, and I just dealt with it because it wasnt as bad as the last car where my kids didnt even want to get into the car.When returning the car the customer service rep. didnt seem to care about the complaint, and when we called about another reservation we were making to ensure the car wouldnt smell the rep didnt seem to care about our concern and blamed it on COVID.Enterprise needs to work on cleaning their cars better, and invest in a near real-time inventory system available to customers so we dont have to call every location for a vehicle.

Terrible customer service! We rented a car locally for a couple days because one of our cars was in the shop. After we returned the car, we were billed for 2 extra days- they apparently closed early Christmas Eve ( closed sign on door at 2 but websight said they were open til 4:30) we returned car at 3.We were charged for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - 2 days when the store was not open but our car had been returned.When we called and spoke to the “manager”, she said there was NOTHING they could do. They should have told us to make sure we got car there early because they were closing early. No communication- not willing to work with us at all.We will definitely not be using them in the future.

The process of renting a car at this location was a bit crazy; people were everywhere. It seemed like a fight for everything; they have also changed the rules to now require two phone numbers so make sure you have that; the extra cleaning done was a joke. My windows were filthy and there was stuff left in the back seat of the SUV; the vehicle doesnt have a full tank which you are expected to return at the same level; But when I returned it with what I thought was the same level, I was 2 gallons short and was charged for the difference. Other than being dirty, the vehicle was nice. When I rent again, I may consider going to Hertz a little further down the street.

I have rented cars from this particular location (Mokena, IL) in the past and will most likely continue to do so. The representatives working there are polite and professional. My concern is that the car I was given to drive was not properly maintained. I had not driven it very far when the oil pressure dashboard warning light went on indicating a problem. Turned out that this vehicle was low on oil. It required a special grade type of oil and was almost 2 quarts low. Im surprised that the engine was even operating at that point. It caused me undue anxiety with a vision of being stranded on the side of the road late at night waiting for help. There was also zero windshield washer fluid, which I also had to replace. Enterprise did adjust my bill accordingly and hopefully, this wont ever happen again.

Mindy at the Mokena, IL location did great. I had a blow out on the highway on my way to FL. I called Enterprise Roadside service. It was the worst experience ever. Even my 9 yr son and 13 yr daughter who heard the whole conversation said they were not any help. I ended up changing the flat tire myself. It’s not that I can’t do it. But if you pay for a service. It should get done. I felt like I’d rather drive my own car next time.

Checking in for the car was a breeze. However, not very certain the vehicle was sanitized as the touch screen had finger prints all over it. Fortunately I brought my own container of wipes and Lysol to take care of it myself. I did like being able to drop off the vehicle with the keys in the drop box. Would give 5 stars if the vehicle appeared to be sanitized in the Covid world we live in.

Until recently Enterprise was a customer-focused company with a desire to go the extra mile. They couldnt do enough for you. That has changed. The tagline no longer matches the service given. Jacob promised a large comfortable car over the phone. Upon arrival he offered me a car in a much smaller class. He would not adhere to his promise. We left and went to a different company for future use.

Staff was great to deal with. The first car was pretty messy. It had some white sticky residue in the trunk, like something spilled. The staff wouldnt let me take the car in that condition, which I appreciated. The next car was a Nissan altima that was fine, except the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the car. Not sure how to get a handle on the no smoking in the car other than changing the cabin filters after every rental.

I will never use enterprise again! I have used Enterprise exclusively for over 20 years!) Recently I rented in Mokena, Illinois location. Upon pickup, I was not allowed in the building, and was made to wait outside in the rain for an agent. Was quoted a price for insurance and agreed to a price, but it was NOT made clear to me that the rate quoted was PER DAY! As both the agent and I were soaking wet, cold, annoyed, the terms were never explained to me fully.Manager, Mindy, at the Mokena location unhelpful and uncooperative. A bad experience.

Sad to give you only 2 Stars, but I cannot understand for the life of me, why you have a car in the fleet that someone had smoked in. It was not just a little, it was disgusting, if you are not a smoker, it would make you SICK, I left your facility thinking I could get some air fresheners, I purchased 3, it was so bad, it did not help at all, as I am driving, I even notice that the windows inside the car had a film like smoke on tje windows, if I was not in a hurry, I would of, should of taken it back.Still cannot understand how this was still in the fleet, and I only hope the person who did smoke in it, paid to have it cleaned.I am more disappointed in myself for not taking the time to take the car back.I wish you well with times being as difficult as they are in the rental industry. Bit I will triple check any car I rent from Enterprise in the future.Regards

Always a great experience when I rent from Enterprise. The staff are courteous and friendly and always have my vehicle ready to go. It helps if you have an Enterprise membership(free) so that way when you reserve, you are out the door in like 5 minutes. If there is a customer ahead of me, they are always acknowledging when you first arrive and then what the status of the vehicle is. Great customer service! The only improvement comment I have for Enterprise Corporate, is that if there are several cars available in the class that you are renting from, to have the option to choose the vehicle. Also, having the contract sent via email and being able to sign off the contract on a tablet makes things much more expeditious. Will always be a repeat customer.

I judt checked my credit card from car I returned today. I was charged 2 different totals for this rental. One was the correct total I was quoted. The other charge is for $399 which is double. I rented a Nissan Versa June 22-27. I returned the car at 7:35am. I will be disputing this charge. I have rented with Enterprise many many times. Not anymore

Was under the impression they rent out smoke free vehicles? It didn’t even bother me that they gave me a dirty car that wasn’t cleaned well but once I turned on the AC the vehicle I rented smelt of cigarettes and being a non smoker it really bothered me the whole trip making it a very miserable experience. Since I rented it at noon on a Saturday by the time I noticed the smell they were already closed and I had already started my trip. I then noticed 5 air fresheners in the center console so I assume they knew about the cigarette smell in the vehicle. After this I really started to look at the vehicle and noticed burn marks and ash in the vehicle. I had no choice but to take the vehicle on the trip and wasn’t able to switch vehicles on Sunday at a different location since I had a fishing tournament to make. I tried calling but couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the Mokena branch so I left a voicemail hoping they would call back and they never did. The car also pulled heavy to the left at highway speeds. It looked like the rear drivers side was repainted and the body lines didn’t match up well so it probably needed a alignment and was in a accident at some point. I never had problems with enterprise before but I will no longer be using them, I might have to call corporate on this one. I was much better just taking my own vehicle but wanted to save on gas since it was just a shore tournament and I didn’t have to haul my boat. Waste of money on this rental, the only positive part of this experience was when I dropped it off and didn’t have to deal with it anymore.

I planned a rental at this location the other day. I talked to Erin and she told me they closed at 5:30. I forgot my license and had to go back home. After driving 45 minutes I came back arriving at 5:15 they were closed and gone. She knew I was coming back.Unbelievable.

On July 20th of this year, i made a reservation for an out of state trip. I was told by a representative at this location that i would be able to haul a trailer with the vehicle selected. A lady named Ashley had reserved my date and sent an email confirming it. July 29th, i received a call stating that they would not be able to honor the reservation because the truck selected cannot haul a trailer. I was very upset and stated i would call corporate office since i was told it was fine. I asked why wasnt i told sooner than this? The scheduled trip was for 7/31/20 - 8/1/20, i would be moving my grandmother from Jacksonville, AR to Kankakee, IL. The lady kept repeating that sorry, we cant tow a trailer. So i called corporate and explained the exact same situation to them, they stated that there were two locations in Mokena, IL that do pick up truck rentals (not shown on enterprise map). So i said okay, well, what can you do? They were able to reserve me a spot at the location, so i was rather relieved. The corporate representative sent an email stating the details. Cool right? Well, i received a call the next day from Dereck Aflec, branch manager of mokena, il store. He would state sorry mr. patterson i been trying to call you all yesterday and i wanted to inform you that we had to cancel your reservation because we are booked for reservations. I would state to him that i never recieved a call any day prior and that i would know if i did, i would check my call log and i didnt recieve a call from any number of that location. I would state, what? what do you mean? Corporate office reserved me a spot at you all location, and i went on telling him about my situation and how i ended up here. He would go on to say, i apologize a million times, unfortunately we dont have anything available at any of our locations, if i hear anything ill let you know. I was heated at this point, and was like, well im gonna file a complaint and speak with corporate office. So i called corporate office again and spoke with a guy(forgot his name). He would state that he would file a complaint and call the branch and speak with them. After being on hold he would state that he spoke with branch and they will try and compensate me for the time lost. In the mean time, i have reservations in Jacksonville, AR for hotel and to pick up trailer, and im sitting here with no answer as i have to leave at 9AM tomorrow morning. Im very upset at enterprise for doing me so wrong and now they will not do anything. If any manager is reading this, i will continue to escalate this until something is done, its not fair you get an easy bailout while people have to suffer from your poor communication.

I had a very poor customer service experience at this location. The vehicle was very dirty, not clean. Red, sticky soda in the cup holders. Crumbs all over the floor. When situation was brought up to the manager, he gave a big attitude and basically brushed it off. Clearly, during the current crisis, I wouldnt be renting a vehicle unless I absolutely had to so the poor customer service was not appreciated.

Ive always had good experiences with Enterprise. Ive been a customer for several years and have not had a problem. Good customer service, and no issues with pick up or drop off service. I typically get the vehicle I reserved or something better at the same rate. There was only one issue recently where I had to add 1 quart of oil to a vehicle and the cost of the oil was refunded back to me. Keeping up with the service on vehicles is very important so this needs to be watched more closely. All in all I am happy with Enterprise and will continue to be a customer.

The mini van was filthy on the inside when it was turned over to me to begin my rental period. I had to clean the inside of the vehicle myself before I would let my family get inside to begin our trip. Something was definitely amiss here.Otherwise the van was great.

For 2 weeks in a row, the Mokena Il. Enterprise stepped up and delivered! I needed a full size truck to get to meetings durring snowstorms. They had BRAND NEW Dodge Trucks 4 door 4 wheel drive made driving threw the storms a breeze. Highly recommended!!!

I had another wonderful experience. Eric Wilson is the best customer service representative in the business. Mr. Wilson immediately recognized me as a regular customer. He was very engaging. While I waited for the car that I had rented to be cleaned, Mr. Wilson and I discussed the types of cars they had available and the Enterprise automobile sales program. He also made a new reservation for me at an available promotional rate When the car I rented did not return in a time-frame acceptable to Mr. Wilson, he offered me an available upgraded vehicle at no additional charge. I will continue to do all of my local car rental business at the Mokena Enterprise. They are the best.

I am frequently renting cars, i travel very often, and have never been treated so poorly, even as an emerald club member . I picked up a premium vehicle from midway, I couldnt tolerate the smoke smell in it, so customer service directed me to Mokena and assured me they have the same vehicle available. I arrive, they dont have anything similar, i ask when there will be one, and am told to come back tomorrow. I came back the next day, and am told now that this location does not keep premium vehicles on site... Why did I come back then??? Im given a minivan with 3/4 tank of fuel, assured i could bring it back that way with no extra charges, Reached out to their customer support number, emailed customer support, and worked face to face with a manager in this organization (nobody can help). I returned this vehicle to Midway FULL OF FUEL and was still charged $40! Dirty cars, poor customer service, they will waste your time by continuously lying to you and offer no help to make things right, and add unapproved charges. I spent $500 for a 2 week rental in which was not the class of vehicle i reserved, and charged additional unjust costs. Go to Hertz, go to Avis, just dont go here, they are there to scam you, and every avenue of customer service is a dead end.

I didnt have rental coverage on my car insurance. I was told Enterprise was around the corner and $25 a day. Picked it up Monday, dropped it off Friday, and got charged $246! I call and was told the rate was actually $30 a day. Fine - thats $150. Where did the other $100 come from? I was told it was something I agreed to in the fine print! Never again will I use this company.

I was traveling for a meeting on Thursday and needed to rent a car from the Enterprise in Mokena, IL on Wednesday evening. I tried getting a car earlier in the day, but they did not have any in stock. When I went back before closing, they still did not have any in stock. I missed my meeting the next day and never heard back from Enterprise about the mistake. Never going back!!!!!! National is my Rental car of choice!!!

Since Enterprise does not match a car to a renter there always seems to be issues at pickup. As a result you have to watch the billing when turning the car back in. I have always had the billing resolved but it takes some time at the counter.And please, start cleaning the inside better. Last weekend rental had grass on the floor and inside windows were foggy. Not cleaned since the car was built.

After having experiences years ago with a Hertz car with the speedometer disconnected and another company overbilling me for insurance i did not ask for, I have always rented from Enterprise! Their commitment to customer service is great. This particular location was a first for me, but it was, as always a great experience, asked for a ride, rented a clean and well-cared for vehicle, just all around easy.

Reserved a 15 passenger van two weeks in advance, got confirmation then three days before our trip I get a call saying they overbooked and wont have the van. Zero help from enterprise. They offered me a 12 passenger van for the same price. Really? Same price for a smaller vehicle? If I could give negative stars I would. I will never ever use this company again. I would walk before I give them my money. The purpose of a reservation is to hold the reservation. Anyone can just take them. Place is a joke.

This location has good service from a professional staff. The cars are, mostly clean. I say mostly because my last rental did have an annoying smell of cannabis. Which, if you arent a smoker, is not pleasant. After a few miles you become nose blind and its like meh. I would certainly rent from these guys again.

The new manager, Miles is so incredibly rude. He gave me and my family a car that over heated during our 16 hour drive. No enterprises near the area that the car broke down had any cars to accommodate my family. When we went to return the car he gave us nothing but more problems. He actually laughed in my face at one point after I told him he should have cars looked at before renting them out to people. We rent there every year for our vacations and Im glad to say that we will no longer be renting cars from that location. Shame on the manager for poor customer service.

I rent vehicles regularly from Enterprise for my work. Although I usually frequent another Enterprise location closer to where I live, I did stop in this location to try and switch out a vehicle I had. Even though I wasnt a regular there, the branch manager, Chris, took care of me and helped me find a solution I was looking for. I would definitely go back again in the future.

For the 4th time, Enterprise in Mokena IL has charged my card and booked a reservation to my account for a reservation I did not make. I simply receive a email showing “my” receipt and the number of miles they say I drove, and see the charge come through on my credit card statement.The prior times I complained, the people at Enterprise told me there’s nothing they can do because I have the same name as someone else and they have my card associated to his corporate account. Corporate said I have to talk with the local office. Overall they both were so useless. I removed my card from my account yet this happened another time. It’s complete negligence.This last time, I was upset so I called in and yelled at the guy because it is just unreal. This should be illegal. Instead of helping, he just hung up on me. I called back and finally their new manager/supervisor...maybe his first month or even week on the job...thinks he resolved the issue. He was helpful, but we will see how long this continues on.If you were wondering, I tried to get my credit card to block these and they said they can’t proactively block something like that. They also said that if a place has my old card in file and I get a new one, they somehow are still able to charge the new one with the old number. The best course of action if this continues is to completely close my account with them. It’s all drowning in incompetence.

Im a elite customer meaning Ive rented several cars especially from the Mokena location. First the rep didnt honor my free upgrade and second he presented a car with filthy seats. And the only 2 excuses he gave me was this the only car available at 8:00 am. And the car has light color seats but it its clean. The seats had stains in the front, passenger and back seats. I was in total shock that this customer service happened at one of my favorite locations.

We had a very bad experience and it was a result of poor communication. My father went to pick up his rental and he was paying with a debit card. The office failed to notify him that you needed a utility bill to accompany the debit payment. So, I had to drive my father back home to pick up a utility bill. When we returned, they told him it was not within 30 days. He had his most recent water bill, which is on a two month cycle and it could not be used. So, I had to drive home back home again. At this point I had spent 1.5 hours driving him back and forth through traffic and construction. I called the corporates office and we filled out a formal complaint and the gentleman at the Mokena office would pick up my father. Well, when my father called to have his pick up, the guy told him he could not get him because he was the only one there (5:20 pm). My father had to call several neighbors before he got a ride there.Corporate said they would contact me within 48 hours to rectify the situation, and I have yet to receive a phone call from them or anyone.This was truly a nightmare and an incredibly stressful situation for my parents and a huge inconvenience for me, as I was to drop him off.We have used this location for many years, and after this mess, the new Budget/Avis On 159th will be our go to rental for our family’s future needs.Update 6/26The corporate office said they would call within 48 hours and it is now one week later. NO word from corporate or the Mokena location. So much for a “family” centered business.

Was very efficient and positive when renting my car here at Enterprise with the help of my insurance company after an accident to replace my damaged car. Even when there were maintenance issues with the rental car Enterprise took care of the problems.

Great customer service, everyone was friendly and helpful. I came in to get a economy and they upgraded me to a full size for free. I definitely recommend renting from the Mokena location.
