Joining Modesto Power this summer was life changing! Not only are you getting an incredible work out, youre also getting a supportive instructor, energizing environment and GREAT community. Though its always difficult, my daily workout has truly been my happiest hour of the day. It will be very tough to find another gym that meets the caliber you will find at Modesto Power. Special thanks to Chuey and Roberto! Ill be back if Im ever back in the area.:)

Modesto Power has something for everyone. Fitness classes, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Cardio Kickboxing, Muay Thai, kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, you name it, they have it. This is the only school in Modesto where you will get all of that in a one price one package deal. Led by a team of wonderful and knowledgeable instructors, the owner, Chewy, has created a family friendly environment while delivering top quality instruction in multiple disciplines. Stop in, meet Chewy, try a few classes for free (and make a few new friends while youre at it!).

Owner was very hospitable and made us feel comfortable, while working with us on our schedule. The place is very friendly and has fun classes too.

The owner is super friendly. For one price I am able to do all the classes that I want from Jujitsu, boxing, weight training and Muay Thai. The coaches are super friendly and are willing to help us beginners learn at our own pace. Definitely recommend this place.

I have been a member since October 18. Not long, but I have major results to show for it. Measuring the results via the numbers,I am 20 pounds lighter and 6 sizesdown.It has a free for all feel to the place, but once you become acclimated, you will find the flow that works for you and yours. Now, this is not an easy kickback leisure spot sort of place. Nor is it a hard core.Come in, be cool, listen to the coach/trainer/peers they are all there to help with questions.Now the childrens program is awesome. The coaches all have kind presence and are non threatening. Yet, when teaching they do not mess around and expect the students to do their best. My daughter is learning and having fun. While that is happening I am getting my workout on.It is a beautiful experience to push yourself past comfort zones and have your daughter yell out, Youre strong mom! You can do it! If you are into being present, you know how wonderful that moment was to soak in.This place is not pretty. Their bathroom supplies, fountain area and cement flooring area need minor adjustments (In my humble opinion). A few automatic anti bacterial wall mounted dispensers would be great for the kids. But that is not a major enough of a reason for me to look elsewhere. I can suck it up and embrace it for what it is.A dope place to train with or without your kids.

I have been going here for about 2-3 months and I can only speak from my experience and experiences I have had at Modesto power. What I can say is Im more then happy with the knowledge and skills I have been crafting with the amazing staff here. I didnt know really anyone my first day but was welcomed with open arms. I have also made new friendships with the people here as well oh and not too mention i have lost around thirty pounds in the time I have been here. Once again this is just my experience here and I cant say yours will be the same but what I can suggest is getting off your phone or computer and checking this place out! Im writing this review on a Sunday wishing they were open. If that doesnt say something I dont know what else will. Thanks Modesto Power I really owe it to you for the help in making me the strongest version of myself!

Was in Modesto for a week with my son. They allowed him to participate in the kids MMA and muay thai classes that week for free even though I offered to pay. Very welcoming staff and clients. If I was to be in Modesto for any period of time, I would bring my whole family here. Something for everyone.

I love the place. Weights, Cardio, and multiple disciplines. Its a great all-round gym, and even better to advance your BJJ skills.

Great instructors! Something for everyone, Jiu Jitsu (personal fav), kickboxing, Muay Thai, strength/ conditioning classes ....... Did I mention they are kid friendly ? ( thank god) if you wanna get your body moving for whatever the reason, I suggest this place. In the past Ive dropped into different academies/gyms and just felt like they werent friendly or didnt have great instruction . Ive been a member now for 4 months, I like Modesto Power because of its welcoming environment, and experienced instructors. Very pleased with my experience so far .Chewy, the owner is personable and attentive to his members, beware though hes a talker. lol
