Red Dragon is an amazing place to be. Our youngest son, who is 6-years-old, was struggling. He needed an outlet for his anxiety and extra energy. Enter Shou Shu. I honestly am not sure where my husband found this place, but we are embracing it and never going back. His patience with explaining, modeling, practicing and then doing them all again is beyond comparison. I feel confident that my son is learning how to protect himself; and the lessons instilled within this are pure and true. My 11-year-old daughter and myself are planning on joining soon. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Shun Shi fu bonds great with my kids. He cares about them like his own. Teaching them by getting to their level but also keeping his authority. Its a great balance.

My family started training here about a year ago and we absolutely LOVE it. As a woman feeling comfortable while training in a martial art setting is so important. The head instructor and owner (Shun Shifu Cardona) goes above and beyond to make everyone feel important, accepted, and safe. No matter your age, race, ethnicity, beliefs, everyone is treated as an equal and a part of the family. I encourage everyone to come in and be a part of the Shou Shu family!

My sons began training at Red Dragon a few months ago with shifu Cardona. They have loved every session so far! They look forward to learning new things and getting stripes on their belt. The shifu is patient and always makes sure they get the correct training. Each student learns at their own pace and he helps them as individuals to reach the next goal. The beginners classes are smaller and allow Shifu to give each student the attention they need. We are happy to have found Red Dragon and look forward to our kids future in Shou shu!

My family and I joined late last year and we absolutely love it. The school feels like a community and all the black belts try hard to keep that feeling. The main instructor and owner (Shun Shifu Cardona) is truly awesome. He is very passionate about the art and likes to break up training with a little humor. You can feel desire to teach the art and spread it to those who want to learn. I highly recommend red dragon for kids and adults. It’s a place where you can leave the outside world at the door and train in a safe and inviting environment.

I love sho shu, the environment is very home like, and everyone at the dojo respects eachother.

Our kids enjoy it. I asked them what they enjoy and they said they enjoy the rolls. As a parent though, it takes a worry off their plate and mine when they are out and about in public in regards to self defense.

Knowledgeable and thorough on all aspects of the techniques and criteria of Northern Shou Shu. Great in breaking down the fine detains of each movement. Recommend for any leave from beginner to advanced

Red Dragon Shou Shu is a great martial arts school for self defense. If you are seeking an in depth, kung fu based discipline in the valley, I would highly recommend looking into this school. Shun Shifu Cardoza, and his team of Shifus (black belts) take the time to make sure your form, techniques, and other criteria are understood, and executed correctly as you advance in rank through the schools unique fighting system.

My Son has become very confident in his self and was able to fend off a couple of older high school bullys that tried to take his backpack on the way home from school
