Tried calling them 22 times over 4 days and never once did they answer. Why even pay for a phone line?
Multiple mistakes made count ask for instructions for anything, on top of that they mailed my outgoing package back to me instead of sending it where it was supposed to go🤦🏽♂️. Do yourself a favor and use ups or some other delivery service
I came here to get a P.O box. Im waiting for a new i.d in the mail. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude. I had ask if there was any other way to give a another form of identification. She told me No. When I left, she then told the man behind me, she was so sorry that he had to wait while I wasted time. I couldnt believe what I heard. I am still a customer, & didnt waste time. The question I had were important to me regardless of her rude thoughts.(ZERO Stars ⭐)
Modesto Kerney Ave. Post office is the best post office in town! Salida post office services our address however I have always had a difficult time with their customer service. I just received a parcel package without the parcel key. The Modesto Kearney office was very helpful and was able to have someone call me to resolve the issue. Thank you so much for going above and beyond and doing an excellent job!
Good service and never lost a package, my livelihood depends on a mail order business which goes thru this post office almost daily....the staff here have never let me down:)

John who works at the post office deserves a raise. He helped with my issue in a timely fashion with professionalism and compassion. The problem was fixed in a matter of days and I am thankful for his hard work.

When you think you can count on your post office to be of integrity and truth you can count on a big disappointment. This being an important level of federal agencies to the community, however if its stamped with federal influence, plan of being also controlled manipulated and non forthright. My mail has been a huge part of my disadvantage and hardship by the lack of creed to hinder and discredit my progress. And its been done so by the USPS. Ive lost my faith in govt and ultimately the right as an American to progress and it has been very effective due to the disregard of my right to mail services.
The old man here is rude.. he talk fast.. treat people like dumb. He don’t have a patient to talk to customers. This is my second time still same how he treat customer.

This place get a -zero rating. I made the mistake of expecting good customer service from this post office. Big mistake! They do not do their job, we have a company P.O.Box and they do not sort the mail daily. Its always hit and miss. One day Ill come in to get our mail and the box is empty the next day is it completely full with multiple post mark dates. They claim they sort and deliver the mail daily, this is not true. Being a business we have mail coming in daily. So they hold up our mail by not doing their job. Today I asked a man to check on a box that said it was delivered. All I got was a rude attitude. I guess Im asking to much to expect them to do some work!
I have repeatedly told my carrier NOT to leave my deliveries on my front porch! Everyone knows about package thieves, I asked him to please walk 20 feet and throw it over my back fence since he thinks leaving it right infront of my door where the whole world can see it is a good idea instead of hiding it in my bushes which are right next to my door. I think he does that on purpose or is a total dumb a!@#, he did leave 1 or 2 in my back patio but was rude and said he wasnt going to keep doing that! Oh excuse me! I then asked him to leave me a note in my mailbox that I could pick it up at the post office but NOoooo! I literally had to call the post master and complain before I saw results.
I think the staff there tries their best to get you what you need. Theyre quite nice if you are nice to them. Its the customer that is the problem. Understand that they are government workers, and most of the time, theyre under paid for their level of service. And now they have to deal with rude customers.It doesnt hurt to be nice.
The Post Office has always done a good job with mail delivery in my opinion however there were times of frustration. The behind the scenes you have great people working there. I honestly could never see any bad intentions. I know customers have incidents to make complaints, but that is with any organization. There is a HIGH level of performance expected for every employee. I know I go home and in pain and exhausted have to take Excedrin to cope with the hard work.
Very friendly and helpful staff. When there is a line, they send someone to check on what you need and will direct you to the right place or help you on the spot if you dont need to wait for weighing and shipping.

Been getting the worst service lately when my mail is delivered. Service at the post office itself is pretty good cause its in person I guess. I live in an apartment complex so we have our own little mail boxes so when we get small packages along with letters, everything is just shoved into the mail box. Lately, getting bigger packages that cant fit inside the mail box, the carrier decides to leave the package where the front door is, thats okay, but the thing is, no one rings the door bell OR knock. The package is just placed near the door and the carrier walks away. This has happened to more than 10 packages in the past month. I have packages worth more than $60 being delivered and the carrier doesnt bother to push a simple button or to even knock a couple times. Its really not that hard.

Having to drive miles to pick up mail due to broken mail boxes for three months. Have to catch 2 buses in this town to get my mail. You should not have to stand in line with the general public to get your mail. In a similar situation in another city they had a counter just for mail pickup etc. Things out here seems to take forever to get fixed. Why isnt there an alternative to get your mail, suppose I was unable to travel miles to get my mail, then what? When you ask if anyone knows when the boxes would be fixed your told it could take several months because they only have 1 guy that does the repairs or replacements, which I find unacceptable re: customer service that seems to be lacking.
Never knocked on my door yet left a package. Said they would return to drop it off and they did not. Absolute garbage.
If I could give this place zero I would . I have to come here for work and mail out items at least once a week if not more. About 6 months ago I was told they dont take my company credit card, when in the past I was told by the supervisor at headquarters that I can use it as long as I have my business card with me. I was just at this post office and this Asian lady (that didnt really even speak English) tells me I have to pay almost $3 extra per letter... I have been mailing these out for almost 5 years the same way with no issue and no extra payment.... As a matter of fact I mailed these same things out late last week without issue. Apparently these people dont know how to communicate and be on the same page. Extremely frustrating and disappointing to say the least. Save a headache and go to the one on Sylvan or Paradise.

My Postal Worker Is A Nightmare!!If I could trade our Postal mail carrier yesterday would bring us such joy because this person professional abilities is at its worst there is none.Our mail most times is damaged or and some unbelievable manner from being wet, to halfway open or even ripped apart its weird.But, how can it become wet when theirs no rain on a bright sunny day,.too her carrying the mail to our home its all just a nightmare.When she brings mail or some then too large to fit inside the mailbox and or for other reasons, shes knocking as if we lived in a barn.And that coming from surrounding area outside are the sounds of cows mowing or something to give reasons for why shes banging over and over again, so loudly it will have your heart skip beats.Ouit commutiy, so why that offeal bangingIf thats not enough noise when our neighbors can hear her too its disturbing their peaceful evening, yes evening.Theyre coming to take a lookey out from their own windows ..At whats all that noise could be about her yelling out mail service, mail service! At my front door announcing her present as if this wasnt 2016 .What the heck really!! A simply knock will do just fine, and because shes yelling out who she is will not get a different responds.Do she believes its the 1800s when mail service was brought by horsemen and buggies.I am so done with My Mail Service Carrier she is a total Nightmare!!Where can I file a complaint

THIS POST OFFICE HAS 4 WINDOWS YET ONLY 2 OF THEM GET USED. EVERYTIME I GO IN THERE I HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 15 MINS IN LINE. THEY HAD MY MAIL FORWARDED WHY I NEVER ASKED AND MY MAIL WAS GOING TO AZ. NOT TO MENTION THAT HAPPENED IN MARCH AND PIECES OF MY MAIL ARE STILL GOING TO AZ. I HAD TO PICK UP A LETTER THAT HAD TO BE SIGNED FOR AND THEY SAID THE LETTER WAS LOST AND THEY WOULD MAKE A NOTE AND GIVE IT TO THE MANAGER. THIS BRANCH SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN OR GET A ENTIRE NEW CREW. ALSO THE LADY THAT DELIVERSMY MAIL JUST THROWS PACKAGES OVER MY FENCE.

So i normally pick up any packages that i missed for delivery here with the pink slip and never have a problem something i noticed though is they never confirm anything like ID. name just nothing all they do is take the slip and get what i want and i dont pay no mind since its fast and whatever i never get asked so figured its how there procedure goes.One morning i wasnt feeling well and asked my husband to pick up the package for me and he asked if he needed anything and i told him no since every time i go i never get asked anything only give them the pink slip so i figured just as much.He goes and comes back home saying that they wouldnt give it to him and asked him for his ID.name adress and the adress on his id didnt match the adress on package(his ID is a bit older and weve only been living in modesto for a few months so yeah old adress) and refused to give him the package and he even explained that im his wife and he even had my id on him and they wouldnt give it to him.So now later on i decided to go pick up same day and what happens? Sweet and simple no questions asked NOTHING gave them the pink slip and recieved my package they didnt ask me nothing like name id adress. Like they did my husbandMy husband was so upset because he felt that he was being judged by his appearance and i am aswelldWhy is it i have never been asked anything when recieveing my packages and all of a sudden they start questioning him?I dont know what the rules are on how you handle costumers who are only here to pick up items with a pink slip but obviously not everyones on the same page or is being unkind to others but non the less everyone should be treated equally
No matter how many times i tell them NEVER LEAVE packages in my box or esp. on my porch they still do,my mail gets stollen and they dont care nore do they stop doing it,they have delivered many packages to DIFFERENT ADDRESSES and ive only gotten one kind lady return one,and it just happen yet agin and the person whom i bought it from is slandering my name because the post office refuses to send me a simple email stating THEY DELIVERED THE PACKAGE TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS so i can get the case closed with the seller grrrrrrrrrr
Tearing my stamp off sending it back to me saying that I didnt pay for shipping. USPS can do us all a favor and go out of business. I have had so many problems with these scumbags it is ridiculous. Just use fedex ups or other courier service, let this post office go broke and out of business.

TERRIBLE SERVICE.I sent a package (a box) with two cell phones and a watch, the truth was that one of the cell phones did not have much value because it was a broken iPhone 7 but I still cared about the photos it had and the other cell phone was a new IPhone 12 and the watch was also expensive was an Apple Watch. They were sent to an address but they were not received and they were returned, because the empty box arrived, they went to the parcel to see what happened and they were not responsible for ANYTHING that because insurance had not been paid, insurance that was never mentioned or offered When sending the package, the truth is I am very indignant with the service because it is a lot of money that I lost.
