Had Veronica today and she was great! There has been an issue with booking online appointments so I went in to see even if I could make an appointment for later today. Glad I went! Veronica was over all wonderful. We had good conversations and she made my hair feel so amazing.

This place is as effed up as Donald Trump. Amongst the various in-person interviews and discussions I heard going on with outside people and the hair stylist, the shop is in the process of going out of business. Or perhaps new management may be the story. Anyhow, severe problems. Run, Gorest run!

I went in for a haircut and the lady with the long extremely thin blueish hair JACKED up my hair. One side was a good inch or two longer than the other side. She was distracted because her bff was there getting her hair dyed and they wouldnt stop talking. Hair dresser also kept answering phones and checking in guest, which would have been fine IF she didnt mess my hair up so badly. I went back and asked for another lady to fix my hair, and she did great, plus she was very sweet and apologetic. BUT the original lady who did my hair didnt even look at me or apologize... super unprofessional experience. I will not be going back...

I took my 5 year old son to get a haircut and the stylist Erika was the one who cut it, I know there are Covid restrictions and there is the mandatory use of a mask and that’s fine, but it was weird to me to have to wait outside while she cut my 5 year olds hair, she ended up not doing what I had asked and cut it super short. Once she was done she signaled me to come back inside to try to give me a lesson on how to teach my child to keep his mask on during his haircut. 🙄 I ignored it and proceeded to try to check out so I can leave. My son was struggling to keep his mask on because he has hair all inside it so I told him to just go ahead and leave it off so Erika the stylist told me she has a right to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask, the service that was already provided? I told her he had hair in it. She told me “it doesn’t matter, it’s not just about him, it’s about everyone else’s safety” I just told her since she is so scared she should just stay home. She then tells me I am being rude. I couldn’t wait to leave that place. Most definitely not doing back

Every stylist who has cut my hair has done it very well. They are nice, and the place is clean. I reserve 5 stars for fancy salons that do a great job, but I would give HairMasters 4 and a half if I could.

Because they know what they are doing. And the lady who did mine made me look good and braided my hair as well and she does a wonderful job.

Just left the salon and my daughter had an appointment for a cut and color at 4PM. Mind you my daughter had some faded greens and blues in her hair and was wanting to get back as close as possible to her natural brown. Not expecting miracles.Waited for the stylist Diana to show up and she was about 10 minutes late. She took my daughter back started talking about what my daughter wanted. Then she walked away and asked another stylist to take over and this person had just started cutting someone else’s hair. Without saying anything Diana took another customer back and started her hair. After another 15 minutes of waiting the other stylist came over to my daughter and told her “I don’t think all the green is going to come out” and started discouraging her from getting her hair done. She could have at least cut her hair but it didn’t seem like they really wanted to do that either. My daughter just told them to forget it and walked out. Mind you we live in the Yosemite area and drove 2 hours to get there. I would never ever go back there or recommend them to anyone. Waste of my time and gas.

I understand that you want to be friendly with the customers, but when someone says 30 minute wait. And you have already committed to the 30... I really wanted to walk out. Too much chit chat, especially when in front of me they just stop what they are doing just to stand and talk. Nothing is more annoying to be told one thing and not happen because of the chatter. Not the first time here at all. But very disappointing today which has made this a horrible experience today for me. In a Sunday morning. Now I understand why my husband stopped coming here. He has no patience for this, but definitely worth the wait everytime

Melinda H. Did an amazing job on my 1 year old sons first haircut. He has curly hair so i was concerned about cutting it and who to trust cutting his hair for the first time. Melinda H. was very professional, and caring. I was very pleased. She also told me how to care and maintain the look and the products to use in his hair. The salon was neat clean, and had a variety of hair products on display.

Veronica is the best! Ive had my hair cut by most of the employees and theyre all great. I usually ask for Veronica but I love them all!

I was able to walk in with no appointment and be seen after only a 15 minute wait. The staff was friendly and listened to my request and suggest some changes that I believe made the cut look better for my face shape. It was reasonably priced for a good cut and i got an excellent discount on my product purchase.

My wife is too modest to post a review but she came home crying because her stylist didnt understand one simple request at all! For one she was very excited as she hardly gets time to herself too! Overall my wife asked for a simple trim and a layer but got her hair cut WAY too short and she kept going with the layers! Are you in training because if you are--a simple request does not mean to go all out! Well, she is not going here again after charging her almost 30 dollars for messing up her hair and making her extremely upset and stressed out. That is not how you treat customers hair! Businesses these days want money money money and it shows really well.

2 stars only because when I first called in asked for a specific color, and was told yes it was available. Then I got there and turned out they didnt have it...so then I pick a different color and she was trying to throw in highlights and going to charge me like 60 bucks. First off my hair was already bleached and I only wanted my roots lightened. Never asked for highlights. Seems like the stylist is always trying to do their own thing I dont go to salons for this reason. Cut was good and got the lightened roots after going back and forth for a good 10 minutes

My son was a walk-in on Saturday and was asked if he would like a scheduled appointment first thing Sunday. Went in next day, lights were out & sign for working hours.... Sunday, Closed?!

I moved here from the east coast and I was really nervous about my highlights getting done by someone else. I walked in this place got an appointment with veronica. She was great she did my hair with better highlights and much cheaper then I paid on the east coast. Color and blow dry included. Definately recommend this place to get your hair done.

Veronica does a great job on thinner hair. Shes my go to hairdresser.

I want to say to everyone if you want a bad haircut and pay lot money go to this place. My son and I got the worst haircut we’ve ever had.

I agree with Kellie and Raad below: pretty close to the worst haircut ever. I said leave it long in back (down to the bottom of my collar) and its up to the top of my collar. I said LEAVE IT long in front, it was past my nose, now its at my eyes. And I said feather the sides so it lays down better and she left i long on the sides. Did the opposite of what I said. Im not sure what it even is. looks weird. I am going to have to go somewhere else and pay to have it repaired so I look normal.

I got my hair cut at Master Cuts. The hair dresser cut it way shorter than I wanted and made the layers EXTREMELY short as well as didn’t blend the front layers around my face, which I originally didn’t even want. The environment was nice but the haircut was not one I would recommend.

This place is horrible. Messed up on my ladies hair to where she has to get hair extensions. I went in there asked for fade 1 on side and 3 on top. Came out with a gay ass high and tight with this fohawk thing on top. Ended up having to almost go bald to fix it.
