I called Volt along with several other companies in the morning. Chris from Volt responded quickly and made room to come check on my issue the very same day. He came within the promised window and was able to diagnose and fix my dryer within 30 minutes. He was gone and my issue fixed before any other repair company I called even returned my call. As a diligent, knowledgeable professional, I would highly recommend Chris and Volt Appliance Repair to anyone looking to have their dryer serviced.

I hired Chris to fix my LG front loading washing machine. He did his job and fixed the machine but dropped the machine on its front side and dented it. I was at work and didnt see the damage until I got home and he never let me know about the accident. My daughter told me so I contacted him and he admitted that he dropped it. I asked that he fix it and he said he would. This occurred 7 weeks ago and now I cant get him to respond. I paid him what he asked for his service and I even threw in a few extra dollars so he could get lunch or something. I believe the total was 268 dollars and I gave him 280. It is a shame that he will not keep his word and fix it and he will not communicate with me. I put this out there because he should be accountable. I will be contacting the Public Utilities Commission and the Better Business Bureau. How sad how something so simple has to be so difficult.*That is a very shady response. You know you dropped my washing machine. And even if you do not believe you were at fault even after you dropped my washing machine you should have still communicated with me instead of playing ghost for 7 weeks and avoiding messages. The boxes you speak of are on the other side of the garage. Nobody lives in my garage. The couch and TV mounted on the wall, and massage chair speak more to man cave then someoneliving in my garage. I work hard and that is where I unwind not that that is any of your business. You are wrong plain and simple and you are talking about whats in my garage and not the fact that you actually did in fact drop my washing machine. Sad.

I called Volt because he was recommended to me. He showed up on time and said he’d diagnose my 25 year old Kenmore washer that would not spin any more. My fault for not asking how much this would be up front. I was remote teaching so I had class and left him to do his thing in the laundry room. About 30 minutes or less later, he stated he was done. He told me to just get a new washer because the repair would be $400. He said, $200 for the part (timer) and $100 for the labor. (This adds up to $300…). Anyway, he said I owed him $99 and I paid him. I had to get back to my students so I didn’t check what he had done. When I finally did, the washer was FULL of water… remember it won’t spin, so how am I supposed to get the water out, and there was a random plastic piece lying on my dryer. I texted him and asked about both. He replied that the plastic piece was just “lying in the control panel area”. Not sure why he didn’t put it back, but whatever. He never responded to the question of how to get the water out. I texted twice about this. No response. I ended up calling the same parts distributor that he gets his parts from and got the timer for $150 (!!!) which seems fair… he was going to charge me $200. And I replaced the timer BY MYSELF and got the machine working in less than 20 minutes. Thank you You Tube. I’m sure Chris could have done a great job and gotten me back to washing, but my biggest issue here is the no response to my texts. So one star for promptness, but no more because I don’t feel that it’s professional to leave a job incomplete (washer full of water) and then not even an apology for it, which I would have taken!

Volt came out the same day I contacted them to see about the repair of a damaged expensive cooktop. Gave a very fair estimate of the repair and spent time finding the parts. We decided to replace the cooktop and a microwave hood. Volt picked up the microwave from the store for us and we had the cooktop delivered. Volt did a great job in the installation, which required the removal of the oven below the cooktop, and the fee was exactly what I expected. They even took care of properly recycling the microwave. Good communication and first class service. Highly recommended.

If anyone is looking for an honest, affordable, helpful appliance repair person - Chris Morales/VOLT Appliance Repair is wonderful! Our fridge starting going on the fritz yesterday. Called Chris and not only was he at our house within 90 minutes, but after diagnostic and repairs it was only $175 to fix something we thought would cost so much more. Highly, highly recommend him. Very nice and professional and gave us tips on future maintenance.

I would not recommend. Definitely overcharged for an hour of work with zero parts needed.

I had owned my Kenmore Elite fridge for 9 months, when the freezer went out on me. It was still under warranty so i called in and a tech came out 5 days later. Fast forward 26 more days and 5 more visits later. My family of 9 is still living out of a mini fridge and shopping daily. I decide to call another repairman, even if i have to pay it of pocket. After leaving 2 messages someone finally answers and tells me he doesnt work on that brand. I try one more number and Chris answers and is in my kitchen within 45min. He tells me its a big and expensive job and he doesnt think i should do it. He said Id be better off putting the money towards a new unit.Ultimately i didnt use there services on my old fridge but i wont hesitate to call the next time one my appliances had a problem.

Our dryer went out at the peak of COVID! In a panic I called the first number I saw online. 😬 Not knowing him or his company I called. I am so happy I did!!I’ve had Chris out to our home twice and both times he was very knowledgeable, professional and honest! I’d highly recommend Chris aka VOLT for any of your appliance needs.

I called Volt this morning and Chris was able to come out in about an hour from when I called. He was done within an hour and didn’t try to up-sell me or charge me for things I didn’t need done. Would definitely recommend!!

Left a side gate open and forgot to turn 2 breakers back on after he turned them off . These served power to garage freezers and sprinkler system. I was leaving town( had mentioned to him) and what he did turned the power off to freezers for 5 days. Worst of all, upon my return I emailed him about it and he denied even going into side yard at all???? I requested a refund for his “diagnostic call” hoping the $99 would reduce cost of food spoilage he caused. and he said if I contacted him again he would file harassment charges?? This guy is dishonest and worst of all - not real bright. I got a certified tech out and issue was neither the control panel or turbidity sensor Volt said was the problem.

Chris was professional, kept in touch & arrived on time. After checking everything out & running all the Electrical tests. He was straight forward in telling me it would be cheaper to just buy a new freezer rather then running up the cost to repair my chest deep freezer. Which is very solid & honest good business on his part.

Our fridge and freezer went out very quickly and unexpectedly. I was scrambling to find someone to come out and take a look at it. After many failed attempts to schedule with other companies, I was referred to Volt Appliance. Chris scheduled me in right away and was at myhouse in less than 45min! Unfortunately, it was the compressor but Chris worked quickly to get one in and had it replaced quicker than expected. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. I will always reach out to him for any appliance repair needs!

Our ancient chest freezer (vintage 1956) failed to run and started thawing. I found Volt on a Google search. My wife said everyone she called you had to leave a message. Not Volt. they answered, and showed up at the appointed time. Chris the Tech did some investigation and ordered the needed parts. He came back 2 days later and we are in business! He is a superb technician, very professional, and wonderful attitude and customer service that is off the hook!! I wish we could give 10 stars!
