I called Customer service, twice, they hung up on me twice trying to transfer me somewhere. To no avail still no response. Thanks for wasting my time!

Im waiting on my refund from the big lawsuit that the state of Alabama won against Terminix. I got a letter from Terminix in February saying that I would be receiving my refund by check in the next 60-90 days. Its now June. No refund yet. Also Terminix stated in their reply to the state that there would be on charge for the next termite inspection. Yeh!Right! Why was I charged?

The Terminix technician was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. He checked every single room in the places where termites can invade a home, he checked the bathrooms due to the moisture content & sprayed under the tub (in the cut of the slab - I didn’t even know the builders did that!). I have never seen anyone else do that before! Termites swarm in our area in the spring, so I told him of the areas in my house where I had seen them when they got in. He checked each place to make sure there was no moisture to sustain them. Everything was just fine & now my home is very well protected!

The services we receive at the house have been good. The technicians that come are helpful & informative. The only complaint we have is that it is very difficult to get anyone by phone when we have questions or trying to set up appointments. It’s been very frustrating. When you fix that, I would give you a ten & be more likely to refer people to Terminix. Thanks.

My home is completely clean of roaches and spiders and other insects that were here before we used Terminix. At certain parts of the the big tree roaches come in. But all I do is call Terminix and the come right out. Even spray the trees. Im dont have to worry with Terminix.

I have attempted for seven consecutive days to contact Terminix via phone and voicemail, email, and text messages regarding an upcoming appointment. I am blown away at how a company of this size doesn’t have the resources to answer my phone calls or even return them in any sort of reasonable manner. I have yet to even receive an acknowledgement to any of my emails.The techs have been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable but the company’s inability to maintain even the essential framework of a customer service department is mind-boggling. I would not recommend their services to anyone. I guarantee your local pest control service will more eagerly accept or return your calls.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with Terminix. This company has been nothing but deceiving. I do not recommend them for any service.In 2018 it took nearly three months to complete installation of mesh vent covers around the crawl space of my raised foundation home.In August 2019, our termite bond was up for renewal, but we were planning on selling our house. Terminix said we would be able to transfer the bond if we sold the house. In September we began the process to sell the house, but Terminix was now stating that the bond was nontransferable, but we would be able to get a refund on the current bond. We ended up getting a new termite bond with a different service provider for the home buyer. In October, when the sale of the house closed, we contacted Terminix to end the termite bond and begin process to receive the refund. Terminix now decided they would not issue a refund. We ended up being out around $500 that we were expecting back from the refund. We would have never renewed if we knew we could not transfer the bond or receive the refund.

When I received a bill last year for $1498, I was quite surprised. I called to get this amount adjusted and was willing to pay for the dual protection system, which had never been installed or recommended over the 37 years I have had this home and termite bond. However, I paid for this last summer but the system was not installed until last week. The workers were courteous and explained what they were doing. They were accommodating and moved items around in the garage as needed and put them back. No complaints on the work. I have repeatedly called and requested call backs, waited on the line for service as well. But with every call i get the same response, sounds like someone answers and then hangs up. Brandon was very caring and professional. He took ownership of the situation and did whatever he could to resolve previous issues caused by previous tech Joe Newman who is the worst technician I have ever had in the history of my life. I feel bad for anymore who has to have Joe as there service technician. Needless to say I am very pleased with the services Brandon has provided. If you had more technicians like Brandon and not like Joe you would have better reviews and more satisfied customers.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. When receiving a phone call regarding technicians coming out for our quarterly check up, I told the rep on the phone I did not want anyone in the house due to having a newborn. When the technicians came, they told me they would have to come inside or threatened the bond to be canceled on the house. After telling them that is not what the rep on the phone said prior to them arriving the technician hung up on me and then called me back asking if I had a receptacle inside for him to plug in his drill - once again I told him I did not want anyone inside.So he hung up on me again.After they left I went on our back patio, and they moved all of my outside furniture (including my couch that I cannot move back by myself), tipped over the trash can and spilt trash in my yard (Accidents happen, but at least pick it up!) and left my back gates open on all sides of the house and both of my dogs got out afterwards!! Completely unprofessional. And now that I am trying to call someone to get ahold of them, I’ve been on hold for 1 hour now.DO NOT USE!

I like the assistance, and honesty although there has been an issue that our bait stations were improperly installed and a few things are missing. They gentleman that did the inspection was honest and assured me that his discovery will be expedited up the chain and it will be corrected. Honesty like that I hold to a high standard, many companies would deliberately ignore their downfalls and start making excuses. His honesty assures me I dont need to look elsewhere. Excuses force my hand to look out to second Estimates & or opinions. His Honesty and Professionalism sets the Bar High and assures me I have the right people for the job.

I purchased a building under contract with Terminix so I maintained the contract annually and a semiannual inspection was performed so quickly I didnt know how they would even know if there was termite activity. For several years I called about increasing swarmer activity and they were very dismissive until I saw a small hole in a wall that appeared overnight and I immediately saw termites. That was in May and they treated the area and found extensive structural damage but made no repairs for 6 months and I was unable to open my business during some of the repairs because the contractors they hireddidnt want to work on weekends and evenings. I overlooked this until my annual renewal of $350 was raised to $1500. I will be using another company and have heard too many similar stories about Terminix.

My prior yearly bond was $400. Called yesterday to set up my annual inspection and was told that my bill was going up to $1,100 annually. Yeah, I dont think so. Ive heard of price gouging, but this one takes the cake. Cancelled my service and now have another termite service with much better reviews for less than half the price. Later Terminix!

After paying our monthly bills for pest service and our annual termite bill for over 35 years - 35 YEARS!!! -, these guys CANCELLED our termite bond without speaking to the homeowner/policyholder. after a deatn in the family, I called the local number 6 times trying to speak to someone in the U.S. and they are always in the field and cant talk. No return call, no nothin. Dont waste your time.....Wonder if they will return a call from my attorney.

On May 8, I received a bill for my annual termite bond renewal with Terminix. It was a tremendous increase. This years renewal was $1499.00 up from $352.00 Last year. I have been with the company since 2015. Our rates have been:2015: $2412016: $2582017: $2712018: $3522019: $1499I called the company today 5/10/2019, two days after receiving the bill. It took 37 minutes on hold to reach their specialist for this specific issue.The specialist indicated that the increase was necessary and they would not budge other than offer me a lower tier of service.This is a 426% increase in one year.

Ive been with Terminix since 1995. Recently they have decided to increase my bond from $300 to $1000. So I called them and asked them to give me another plan. They were supposed to go out in Feb. and give me the new bond as of today which is 4-1-19 they have not done so. I have renters in this house and have scheduled Terminix to go out SEVERAL TIMES and complete this. They would show up at the wrong time frame or they would tell me that my tenants refused them or they would just flat out lie and not go out. Its very sad that this has happened to several people and they dont do a dang thing about it. Whats even worse is when you call them they actually lie on the phone too ! Worst company Ive ever dealt with!!!!!!

My husband and I have been using Terminix for many years, since we bought our home in 2008. Not one time have we had a bad experience. The service techs that have come by the house to inspect, have been very pleasant to work with. I like how Terminix has it set up so that they can send a reminder email that your yearly service is due. In addition to that, they also send me an alert email telling me that our technician is on their way. So far so good. Havent had any termite problems. Knock on wood. ;) As a matter of fact, some of the techs have even told us that our crawl space is one of the cleanest crawl spaces they have ever seen.

I just got my renewal notice, and they expect me to pay $1499.00 for renewal. When I still had Guardian, before Terminix bought them out, I paid $195 a year for 12 years. I saw the warnings on NextDoor that they were doing this and I expected it. I am cancelling after finding a new company. Since Terminix bought out Guardian, I have found Terminix to be unprofessional and I am aware of the lawsuits again them as well.

The price to switch to the dual protection plan and the annual renewal rate was almost exactly what 2 other local companies gave us for either the liquid treatment or the bait, but not both, so we decided to let Terminix switch us to the new dual system for better protection at a reasonable cost. The servicemen that installed the bait stations and treated around my house did a great job. They worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. They were very professional, they called the day before to remind me if my appointment and called when they were on the way. They explained exactly what they were going to do and communicated with us when they were through. The only reason I cant give Terminix a 10 is their phone system is awful. There is no way to reach the local office and I dont want to speak to someone in another state when I call.

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW- Terminix has responded to my problem listed below and has assured me that an error on their part had been found and has been corrected. Their response is appreciated. I will say that when we had a termite problem several years ago the repair work was fast and professional. Fair is fair and I wanted to mention this point.November of 2019 I signed a new contract with Terminix and paid half of the amount. I paid the other half in December when the treatment took place. Both checks were cashed and I have copies. In February of 2020 I received a letter from Terminix stating that I was past due. My wife called the call center number and was assured that we were paid in full. Later in February we had a call from Terminix trying to collect a past due amount. The rep said the call was in error and we were paid in full. Around March 9th - another collections call. Again, I was assured we were paid and the call was in error. You can not get a call returned from the local office. I tried through the tech who signed the contract. He texted the request to the office. I was not called. I tried through the call center. They stated that they had spoken to the local service manager and he would call. I have not been called as of yet. On March 10 I called the service center again with the problem. The rep assured our account was paid in full and said she would look into it. On March 11 I called back and was told our payment had just been posted to our account that day. March 11 - the checks were cashed in November and December. How can that be since we were being told all along to ignore the letter and calls because the account was paid? I can only hope this nightmare is over but my opinion of Terminix could not be any lower. Several years ago we had a Termite problem in an addition to our home. Terminix had treated the slab but we were told by the local manager that there was no record of the treatment. Only after my wife produced a time stamped photo of the treatment in progress, with a Terminix sign in front, was the damage repaired. We have been Terminix customers for over 23 years. My anxiety level goes through the roof at the thought of what is next with Terminix.

We dont use Terminix. We are happy with the service we have with our current company. HOWEVER, someone from Terminix was going door to door in our neighborhood trying to get people to sign with Terminix. We told him we already had a service and the guy was extremely pushy in wanting to know who it was we used. My husband told him to leave. Why have door-to-door sales people go out? No one likes being solicited in their own home, especially at dinner time. No one likes a pushy salesperson to begin with. Its rather creepy these days to just send people door-to-door. After reading the reviews of rate increases, I am very glad we are with the company we have.

I called Terminix about any options that would be open to me after I found out about their increased rates this year. They made it impossible to contact my local office like I always did by re-routing to a 800 number. First, I was told that I didn’t even have a termite bond (been with them for 12yrs pest and termite), then when I was able to produce a customer number they admitted it. They said they would call back within 24 hrs and get someone from Mobile to come by. Never heard from, called again and was able to get someone from the US this time that took a detailed message, never heard from them again. I called and cancelled my pest control and went with someone else in town. After 1 month the Terminix Pest technician showed up at my door irritated that I would not be paying because of the cancelled acct. With this treatment I can’t even imagine how horrible it would be to get them to preform their duties if I had ever gotten termites.

After being a way from this Pest Control service for a little while, I decided to give them another try when attempting to reset up my service they automatically billed me before I even received an appointment and then after an appointment was scheduled decided that I hadnt paid them already for original service and that they came out two weeks prior but left no notification. Since then Ive been back and forth with automated services and customer support to try to resolve the issue but after multiple attempts Ive decided to no longer pursue it. Moving on to someone that actually wants my business!

These guys are among least professional people I have ever worked with. They sent a representative out to do a free consultation, he diagnosed the issues on my property and scheduled a service call for me in the middle of the following day ( a work day). My roommates and I scheduled time off work in order to meet the team for the service call at the house, they did not show up. Only after calling numerous times did I realize they did not show up because of a system error the rep was in no way proactive in helping me find a solution. Their customer service is awful and I will be cancelling my business with them as dealing with these people has been a nightmare. I would absolutely recommend reaching out to local company instead of paying a ton of money for some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. These guys are amateurs.

We love having Terminix! Mr. Frank Goss has always taken care of us and is so thorough. He never hesitates to tell us to call back if something comes up. He always lets us know what may be causing a problem or why something is the way it is. We like that little bit of education when he visits. We love how easy Terminix makes pest control since we are first time homeowners and we recommend them to as many people as we can. Especially if they are in our area so Frank can take care of them too!!

Huge rate increase. No annual inspection.My annual service contract increased from around $400 to $999. Why? I have not experienced any issues and never made a claim.I am still waiting on the annual inspection. When I returned their call about an inspection, they atated all of their time slots were booked and they would get back with me. That was two months ago. Now I get a huge price increase. Andrew was awesome! But after he quit, 2 appointments in a row (aug and oct) a tech will lie as they completed service at my home on the outside, and claim no one was home and charged my card. Luckily I have cameras that showed no one ever came, and also the fact I was at home the whole day! Local office does nothing but fake file a dispute that never gets resolved. no refunds, just set another appointment date so the same thing can happen again!
