I went here to get my oil changed and it took almost 45 mins, a little longer than my regular place, but I just moved to Mobile and needed to get this done asap before I left for a trip. Friendly service, very nice guys. Seemed to be a little confusion as to whether they put enough oil in the car, but they seemed to figure it out. When I got home, something told me to pop my hood and just make sure everything looked good. Well, they forgot to put the oil cap back on my engine. I drove back, told them the situation and someone immediately came and popped my hood, found the misplaced cap and put it back on. He also gave me 25% my next oil change for the inconvenience. Overall, friendly service, just a little concerned over the lack of thoroughness; if I hadn’t looked, I can only imagine how much this small mishap could have cost me in the long run.
I NEVER write reviews, but I want people to be aware. I had great service the first time I went here, but now I am in a nightmare! My husband came here on Saturday, July 24th to get my oil changed. He came home and parked the car. I got in the car about 1 hour later and my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. I took it immediately back to Take 5, spoke to Jeremy who said he was the manager on duty. Jeremy asked me 3 times if I was sure this was the car my husband got the oil changed in. I said yes, and I even had to show him my receipt. He told me there was nothing they could do, that I would need to get a diagnostic run on it because there was nothing they could do. So, I took it to Honda on Monday, they ran a diagnostic, and said that they put the incorrect oil filter on, and I have the codes they gave me. So, I take it back to Take 5 and they said there was nothing they could do, and they would deny any claim because Honda touched it. Frank (his name was on his shirt) informed me that he couldn’t give out a manager’s name, a district’s managers name, and he wasn’t allowed to give out any phone numbers either. He wrote up a claim and said that it was denied, and he REFUSED to let me see the claim and the pictures he took, and informed me that the manager may or may not call me. I have contacted every number on the website and NO ONE will return my phone calls.I finally spoke with Brandon (who is the district manager) and he said that Honda probably destroyed the evidence and that Take 5 needs proof. I told him that Jeremy is the one who told me to go get a diagnostic because there was nothing that they could do. I’m in the process of contacting a legal team.Update 7/31: please know 20 minutes ago they posted the same info as they have on other reviews I see. I have already called that number and spoke with Alex/Alec (I couldn’t really understand), but she was the nicest person I have dealt with. She already knew my claim was denied, and gave me the legal teams information.
Arrived last Saturday @ 7:30am, one bay opened. Waited for 30 minutes before the tech came out. At that same moment 4 other vehicles showed up and now all 3 bays were opened. The tech instantly began helping the other person in the second bay who needed air or whatever. Bad move! When they finally got to my car, the info gathering process was like pulling teeth. Now we move on to the prices....unbelievably high. All tolled, I paid $93 for an oil change and air filter and they over inflated my tires. The factory spec called for 33 on my vehicle, the put 38. Trust, specifications are about the details. Never again!!! $93 for and oil change!!!
I had a great first experience at this location. The crew worked, to use an old cliche, like a well-oiled machine. They even gave me some advice Auto repair I wouldnt have noticed myself. Forgot to honk my horn as I drove out, figure a review would be even better

I have a brand new car and they messed up the the cap trying to get it off and stripped it and tried to tell me it was like that when my husband and I watched them when they did it. They were very rude. Definitely will not be back
I have to rave about this place. After having a rough experience at the other Mobile location last week, this was a welcome departure. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and that was with another vehicle already being serviced in the bay when I arrived. The staff were very pleasant and professional. Tanorious assisted me and he was extremely professional and helpful.
Crew threw me off they didnt have automotive jargon down. Bit unnerving having someone service vehicle and invent words to use.
My partner had her oil changed here on Wednesday 5/20/21. On Thursday 5/21/21, after driving less than 23 miles after the oil change, her engine locked up and the car stopped on the side of Airport Boulevard. There was no oil in the vehicle. I immediately called this shop and spoke to Demetri the shop manager. He told me what information he needed from me and I went to hunting it down. I called him on Friday and Saturday of that week. I could not get him on the phone or to return my calls. On Monday, 5/24, I finally got through to a district manager named Frank. He told me that they would inspect the car the next day at 12:30 pm at my mechanics shop. I was waiting on them at 12:20 pm. Frank calls me at 12:40 to tell me that they are running late. Supposed to be there at 12:30. Demetrius, the shop manager, doesnt arrive until after 1pm. He and his helper inspected my vehicle and discovered that there was no oil in it and it would not start. He then tells me that he has to talk to his district manager, remember Frank, and see what needs to happen next. Demetrius calls me the next day and tells me that if my mechanic can tell me what caused the oil to run out and pin it on Take Five then they will pay for it. My mechanic tells me they never put any oil in it in the first place or didnt put enough or allowed some of what they put in to run out. I explained this to Demetrius today. He tells me they have the whole thing on video and his guys did everything right. Sure, bud. A car goes from operating just fine, to you clowns touching it, to 23 miles later it has no oil and needs a new engine.Dont take your car to these guys. They will trash it. Then theyll give you the run around and waste your time. Then they will not take responsibility for it.We have tried to get in touch with someone via the email address and phone number that this companys internet person has posted below my review. Absolutely zero response or follow up from these clowns. If you take your vehicle here beware. There is a good chance they will ruin it. Then they will not take responsibility for their mistakes. Then they will show fake concern for their customer on the internet.

I’m a new customer, but my husband and daughter have been getting oil changes, here, for quite some time. Today, I was helped by an employee named Clarissa. I would like to pay her a high compliment... She was very professional and pleasant, providing me with superior customer service. I thought, for surely, she must be a manager, because she appeared to be a leader. I feel strongly she should be given a management opportunity. I also hope you will reward her in some small way, because she’s doing an excellent job. I look forward to coming back, again, for my next oil change.

I always have a good experience at Take 5, no matter which one I go to. The techs seem genuinely happy to serve and smile while doing so. If you want to feel better when you leave a place than when you entered - go to Take 5 and interact with the people working there. And dont forget to honk on your way out. They truly like that.

They had a couple of newer employees with them so I got the training experience. The manager was there for the trainee when she needed help while also making sure everything went smooth in the other bays. Personality and energy was very positive. Highly recommended!!

I went in in a 2019 nissan versa wich holds 3.7 quarts with a filter wich is not much got an offbrand air filter from them cost me 120 bucks. Never again my sole purpose in life is to make sure they cant continue buisness taking advantage of people. Stay away from places like this the actual dealer wouldnt charge this much. And the place took twenty minutes not five.

Usually I have an excellent experience. I think yesterday they were short staffed. The guy was unable to get my check engine light to go away on my dash, but besides that, good service. It took about 35 minutes in and out since they seemed a little short handed but they were kind.

The guys were very professional and accommodating. It took 10 min and I was on my way. They give you the option of oil needed in your vechicle. They were all about business and getting the cars serviced in time allowed. I usually go to Markxxxx and sometimes be there for hours to get an oil change. I will return to Take 5 for my next oil change.
I went there this past Saturday. It was a little busy that was fine, the problem I had was they did not check my tire pressure,clean my windows or put the oil change sticker on. If I didnt say anything they would have not taken my oil change light off either it might sound petty but if I was getting that service before l still want it that is why I go to take 5 thank you

This was my 1st visit aside have always been a dealership customer, but waiting 2 hours for an oil change is simply unacceptable. This company was fast and I got back to work within my break period with 15 min to spare! Will definately be back!
Oil change was fine, even though it took 45 minutes (and they were finishing up the guy in front of me when I got there). The issue is, they had a trainee doing the service apparently and this morning when I got on the interstate north I heard a terrible noise. Pulled over to the side of the road and saw that the splash guard under the engine had been loosened. Not a happy situation.
The reason i use take five is because of the professional service they give. Yes i could go where an oil change is cheaper but cheaper is not always best. The employees are very knowledgeable and pay attention to details. No matter the cost i will remain a loyal customer of take five.
