Wanted to go with a local business to have my rings put together and this place came up on my search. Best choice I made. The Owner and his (Great Great Great Great grandson-J/k) were a pleasure to do business with and the work on my rings was fantastic. First of all, we have used this place for years. I went in for a new battery for my husbands Movado watch. I inquired about a piece being welded back on a gold hoop earring that I had brought in on a Saturday back before the pandemic. The owner was not there but a young man was with an unkempt appearance. He quoted me $45. I told him that was more than I paid for them so I guess I would just sell them for scrap. So currently while in the jewelry shop, I inquired with the owner who informed me they have a $30/minimum. I was not told of that the 1st time I inquired. The owner began chatting saying, You know, I went to the dealership the other day, they told me my tire was going to be $150, I told them, no, it should be $10. Then he said, I went to the grocery store, they said my groceries were $100, I told them, no, it should be $10. While putting the battery in the watch, he stated, You know this watch has the wrong size battery? The battery is too big. I informed him it was purchased at a pawn shop so I have no clue who put the battery in but it worked for a long time. He said, Well, thats what you get buying from a pawn shop, in a condescending tone. I never requested a lower price on the earring repair. I will not pay for something only to be spoken to in this manner. His level of sarcasm was ridiculous. I will not be a patron of his business any longer nor will I ever refer anyone to him again.

I love them. They are quick and great prices. Best place to have stuff done. They listen and achieve what you want. Always impressed with their work. I wont use no one else. Very friendly people too.

I just want to say, I googled jewelry repairs and this store came up as one of the ten best jewelry stores in Mobile. I must say that this store did live up to the google search statement. The owner and his grandson were very nice, courteous, friendly and professional. The ring repair was amazing, fast and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this store if you have any repairs. I definitely will be going back for any of my jewelry needs and repairs. Please do not hesitate to take your business to this store because they truly are one of the best jewelry store in Mobile Alabama.

Jim and his son have always provided excellent customer service and advise on all jewelry purchases and repairs I have had with them. I have been using them for about seven or eight years and have never been dissatisfied. They did a custom build for my fiancé‘s engagement ring that is absolutely beautiful! She gets compliments on it all the time. Best jewelers I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Custom Fast-Fix Jewelry Repair did a great job sizing my ring. The guys are very helpful and take their time to ensure you get the right fit to accommodate your finger. I was very pleased with the outcome of the ring being sized. They sized the ring down. The guys were finished with the ring and it was ready for me to pick it up in less than two hours. It cost me $55.00. Considering this was same day service, taking less than two hours and AMAZING costumer service, I consider the charge to be very reasonable. I cant stress how helpful these guys are when helping you.I will definitely return and as of my first experience today, I have become a costumer for life.Please dont let the other negative reviews prevent you from giving this business a chance. I read the reviews from others before going to this business. I went ahead and gave them a chance despite the negative reviews from others. The good reviews out weighed the bad reviews. I understand that each individual may have varying experiences when dealing with your jewelry. With that being said, I quickly determined today that this business is costumer oriented and cares for their costumers satisfaction. I cant imagine if someone does have a problem with their work, these guys would be more than willing to make it right. Thats the impression I got today from them. They have very strong work ethic, take pride in their work, and are very knowledgeable.Oh, one more thing.... today when we were trying to determine the right size for my ring because this ring was a gift from my husband and is an addition to my wedding set, the guys examined the size of my wedding ring which is now the middle ring in my set. He discovered that my band was a little bent. He asked if I would like him to straighten it. He straightened it, no charge! Thats a real, professional, costumer oriented jeweler!

Ive gotten a little work done here. Its a family owned store and the staff has always been very courteous to me and given great advice. The older man is very blunt/honest about things so I can see how people would take offense but hes only ever been helpful to me. They replaced my watch battery which wasnt a normal sized battery, sized and polished my ring, and welded my broken necklace. They suggested I buy a new chain since it was just a simple Walmart one and more likely to break again. They also advised me not to wear it to sleep or in the shower like I have been. Ive never had a decent chain for my necklace and the pendant was a gift from my significant other so I broke down and bought a box chain. I dont regret it at all. This new chain has lasted me over 6 months. As far as the work Ive had done, it was all done within a few minutes (battery) to hours (ring size). The prices are reasonable for the work you get done. Went into store several months ago, as referred by one of the jewelry stores in the mall. First encounter, nice and seemed genuine. He looked at my ring and advised the prongs on each side needed to be replaced and it would be $75/side, totaling $150! He placed my diamond in but said, it was just sitting in there and if I was to wear it, it would come out. I FINALLY get my $150 together and go in last week, only to be told, the prongs around my center diamond needed to be replaced and that was $300 off the top....I was BLOWN away, to say the least. He goes on to say, each side had to be completely re-done and THAT would be $150/side, totaling $300!! I advised him he NEVER said that and he responded, with a smile, Well, you can look at it and tell it needs new prongs on the top. I said, well, I cant, Im not a jeweler, with a smile! I advised him I wasnt prepared to pay $600 for a job that was quoted $150. He just responded, well, thats what it gonna take to have it right...oh, the diamond is loose, I cant tell! He gave me a card(which I tore up and trashed) with his new quote! Can you say SCAM ARTIST!! Im making sure I tell EVERYONE, not to patron him. I REALLY felt like he uped the price thinking I received a BIG tax refund. Hell be out of business soon!!!! :(

My wife went in the store on 12/16/17 to get a ring sized. She said he was nice. BUT when she went back to get the ring the accents (rose gold coloring)was gone from one side of ring guy told her to take it back where she bought it and if she got a new one he would size it for free so I went to take the other ring back to have it sized today 12/19/17 and the guy was rude. His attitude was towards me was not good. He made me fill as if he was surprised we came back with another ring. It made me feel as if he did not want to do what he told my wife he would. We dropped the ring off to him about 10 oclock in the morning. We called him after 2 oclock to see if it was ready. He said he would call when it was done. We never got a call so we went up to his store around 4:30 and he was just as rude when we picked up the ring like he did not even wont us in his store. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ive used their service many years ago to replace a battery and resize the band in my $10,000 watch and they banged on it with a rubber hammer because they dont have the correct tools to push the pins out. I will never let them touch my watch again. My step dad took his watch that he got in Switzerland and he had them to replace the battery and now water moist gets into the watch has they broke the seals and did not replace them nor did they tell my step dad that until he took it back to them. But they did an excellent job fixing my wedding ring. They sized it down and polished it to look like new for $55.00 in a few hours.

Went to get my engagement ring sized and they had it done within an hour. I had waited months to get it sized because of the horror stories I had heard from friends about their rings being messed up once they got them back, plus it taking forever at other jewelers. Been using them for at least 10 years. Went in the other day, he didnt want to help me. He told me 80.00 on a tiny ring, that in the past he charged 45.00 to do. He just totally didnt want my business, and left there and went to Goldsteins and bought my necklace, that he so rudely would not help me look at. He missed that 400.00 sale! As for his work, oh course it was good or I wouldnt have came back several times over the past years, or referred friends. Hate to say this, but I will most likely go back and pay the ridiculous price because I am so impatient and they have it done in an hour. Unless I can find someone else in the area, but I will never send another friend or family member in there to be treated like he treated me.

I live in Biloxi but I was told by a friend to try your store to get my chain repaired and my grandmothers stone replaced. I was worried I wouldnt get it back by Christmas but I did. My grandmothers ring looks like new. I will be driving back again for all my jewelry repairs. Thanks a bunch.

Needed a tiny O ring soldered to a tiny silver chain which cost about $6.00. They wanted $20.00 to do it. Outrageous!! Probably would have been less at a quality jeweler.
