I reached out to Hembree heating and air on 7/21/2021 around 9pm due to having issues with my central air and heating unit not working properly. I was told a service technician would call me back but they never did, so the following morning (7/22/2021) I called back around 7am and left a message and I received a call back from the receptionist who said that there was an opening between the hours of 8pm and 10pm which I accepted because we were without air for the last 3 days and need some relief immediately. So I called around 6pm to make sure that we were still on for 8pm and 10 pm and I was informed that Id receive a call back from the technician with a status. Around 7pm I received a call from the technician named Randall who stated that he had just finished up a job and he was headed to another one and that he hadnt forgotten about me and hed be over to service my air conditioning unit, so we waited. 9:09 pm rolls around and I receive a call from Randal stating that he had just finished a job that he considered urgent because there was a 2 month baby in the house and that he was on the way and that hed be to my house in 45 minutes. I told Randall, fine, I get it I totally understand but please come tonight because weve been without air for 4 days now. 10pm roll around, no Randall, 10:30 comes around no Randal so I call him back and he didnt answer! I called the office and spoke with the answering service and he did not call me back. So today 7/23/2021 I call and speak with someone in the office regarding the issue and i was told that Randall said that he called me back and left a message and the earliest that they could come to my house was on Saturday! I informed the clerk that it was unacceptable as I never received a call from Randall and I reached out twice with no response and that it was unfair for me to be penalize because he didnt show up. All she did was apologize and said that Saturday was the best that she could do. I repeat, this man did not call me to say that he wouldnt make it nor did he leave a message.. I called him back on his cell and he didnt have the decency to pick up the phone! If this is the way that Hembree runs their business and treat customers I wouldnt recommend them to anyone! Run as fast as you can!

I woke up last Friday to realize that my AC was blowing hot air and the fan outside wasn’t spinning. My entire house was humid and hot and with 6 animals, it was important for me to keep my house cool. I tried contacting a repairman through my home warranty that I got when I bought the house, but the soonest they could come out was the following Wednesday. I called Hembree around 4pm and they said they could be there at 6. He got it fixed within a hour of being there and I honestly can’t be more happy with the service we were provided. As hot as it is down here, I hope I don’t have any more AC issues but if I do; They’ll be my first call! 10/10

Great company. Responsive with quality technicians on call at all hours of the day. With their local partnership with Lowes we were able to finance our new unit to help spread the cost out over a longer period of time. New ac keeps the house cool on these hottt days. The owner is also amazing nothing but positive experiences with Hembree!

Very professional from first contact until job completion.I called to request a quote for a new heating/cooling system. A day/time was set for a representative to meet with me.Jacob Hembree came to my house and sat down with me and discussed my concerns/needs. He reviewed/inspected my current heating/cooling system and measured the inside dimensions of my house. He determined what was needed to heat/cool my house properly. Jacob answered my questions and we discussed pros/cons of various SEER options.I got several quotes from different companies before making a decision. Hembree gave me the best price quote for what I wanted, so I decided to have them do the job of replacing my heating/cooling system.Technicians Walter and Colin did an excellent job installing my new heating/cooling system. Both were professional and pleasant. They made sure not to make a mess inside or outside of my house. The technicians answered my questions and reviewed how to use the new system once it was installed. The technicians cleaned up nicely when the job was completed.I would definitely recommend getting a quote from Hembree regarding heating/cooling needs before you make a decision on which company to use.

They scheduled the appointment for 6pm-8pm and then they said he was in the area can he come between 4pm-6pm, well yes you sure can sir because it’s hot. He came in checked the inside unit and outside unit diagnosis the problem told us very informative information for preventive maintenance highly highly recommend this company

Great experience all around with Hembree and a great price. We had our entire AC system except the ducts replaced. Our air handler was originally in the closet, but they were able to install the new one in the attic. I installed the attic access ladder the weekend before they came. When Jacob came for the estimate, he was very knowledgeable and helpful with where exactly we needed to locate the attic access. I also appreciate the communication from Jacob throughout the process, both before and after the install. At no point did it feel like our job was just a number. For the installation, Chris and Mason showed up exactly when we were told they would and were excellent. They were professional, courteous, clearly care about the quality of their work, and cleaned up everything after they were finished. Looking around after they had left, it was clear that they had put a lot of effort into the quality of the install and making sure everything with the finished product looked clean and organized.

I had to have a new A/C installed and Chris and Collin came right on time and they were so nice and professional. They worked together and got it installed in no time. (Even with my dog Gracie trying to help I would recommend them 100%

Long term review.Tyson came out and said my two 20+ year old AC heat pump systems were dying and he could fix them but it would be a continual battle. So I said ok, replace them with a similar system. At the time my elec bill during the summer was around $275 per month.So here comes the sales pitch. That SOB started explaining this and that, seer ratings, unit size, what my house needs, Trane is the best, Yada, yada and so on.Well I bought it all; the best stuff available. But you know what? Tyson did it, that SOB really came through and my electric bill is now around $150 / month in the summer!In all seriousness, Tyson was awesome. The install team was fantastic and solved some hot room problems with new and expanded size ductwork. I highly recommend and just do whatever Tyson recommends. Its all been great and my house value went up to boot. Nice!

This company is BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, the absolute best company that Ive ever dealt with period!!! Very professional, on-time, courteous...every great possible word that exists describes this company! They went ABOVE and BEYOND for me when my air unit went out, and gave me by far the BEST deal on the planet for the best branded equipment (trust me, I checked around and everyone else were quoting me thousands more for the service and equipment that this company provided). They ran me the figures, showed me the data for best a/c brands verses the lower end brands, and provided me with paperwork showing and explaining everything that came with their service (new wiring, patch ductwork, etc.).. Hansons air and heating didnt do any of this, nor did they even tell me what brand of equipment they were going to install (in which I found out that they were going to install a Goodman brand unit for nearly the same price that this company quoted me for American Standard brand). This company also installed a really nice portable a/c for me until they fixed my a/c unit, which was JUST the next day (Hansens didnt offer me a portable a/c). Im telling you, GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! You will 100% not regret it!!!!

I needed a new system installed so I called four different company’s for estimates. Jacob came out and he was the most professional and knowledgeable of all of them, also the cheapest! Walter and Collins came out to do the install, unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to meet them, but after reviewing their work I was highly pleased. Not one corner was cut, top quality work! If you need any ac work I highly recommend these guys. Cheapest guys around with out sacrificing quality at all!

The fan on my outside condenser unit stopped spinning last night about 8pm. I immediately called Hembree and expected to get a recording. Instead, someone actually answered the phone and submitted my service request. I then expected to get a phone call the following morning. Instead, Stephan called me at 10pm last night to tell me hed be able to be at my first thing this morning. Im not impressed easily, and this was honestly one of best displays of customer service Ive ever seen. Stephan showed up this morning shortly after 7am, and replaced my capacitor for a minimal fee. Having an honest, super responsive air conditioning company you can rely on is super important... And I will be referring everyone to not only Hembree, but Stephan specifically. Thanks again guys.

I highly recommend this company. I called to get some information regarding a noise I was having on my ac. The lady who I spoke to, Jenny, was super helpful and answered all my questions. I will use them for all of my ac needs because of her willingness to assist me.

We needed a new upstairs unit, but we also learned about some issues with the install of our recent downstairs unit with a different company. They were also able to install Hepa filters and a Reme Halo. The install team stayed at our house until the whole job was finished, when they could have opted to come back another day. We recently had a new ac/heating unit put in by Hembree. Weve been living in our 1970s home for about a year so were not real familiar with it yet. Of course because it was built in the 70s, the attic space and layout is not very convenient for renovations of such. The guys that came out were very knowledgeable and productive while working to install the new system. Even Mr. Hembree came out to help with figuring out a good solution for us. Im so thankful for all the insight he gave us into the new system. Now we feel more confident in knowing we have an efficient unit we can count on. Our AC condenser unit died on a Friday night (Memorial Day Weekend, no less), so Saturday morning, we tried to get the home warranty company involved. No luck there, so my wife Facebook Messaged Josh’s wife (my wife had her as a student at UM several years ago). Josh quickly called me, and he had the Mobile office set up an appointment. Maybe just over an hour later, the tech, Zion, comes out to the house and replaced the capacitor, took maybe 15 minutes. Which was good, because the interior temperature had already climbed to 90 degrees! Very pleased with their responsiveness, service, and professionalism, and will not hesitate to use them again if/when our HVAC system dies!

These guys are the best. When my A/C was destroyed by lightning, Hembree came to our rescue and installed an awesome unit that has also cut our electric bill by about 25-30%. The service plan that we have keeps our warranty in effect and Hembree comes out twice a year for a very reasonable fee. My previous el cheapo A/C unit died almost every summer for nearly 15 years.... Ill never go back . My new American Standard unit is one of our best home improvements. Thanks Don Hembree and crew!

Hembree H&A came to the rescue after a sudden loss of heat. Turns out my 22year old central unit had hit it’s final day. Our service man gave us a full assessment and options. We decided to go with a replacement and he and the office set up a timely replacement day, financing and did a temporary fix so we had heat until they could do the work. They came within 4 hours of our call, and we were set up for replacement to start in less than a week. Professional, courteous and clear understanding of all that would be done.
