After unsatisfactory service from another local AC company I called Grayson Air on Friday afternoon. Graysons technician Will responded to my call late on Friday. Will did an excellent job going over my options on my repairs as well as discussing the new products his company offered. Being late Friday Will had his company bring and set up 2 window units upstairs to give me time to weigh my decisions. After thinking through my options I decided to replace my central unit. 8:00 AM Monday morning Grayson installment team called and they were ready to start solving my problem.Travis, Brannon and Dustin did and outstanding job on installing my outside unit as well as my intake system in the attic. Andrew came out to check our HVAC because we smelled something hot and thought the heat strips were coming on when unit was on Vacation mode, also our power bills were high. He did a thorough inspection and showed pictures of rusty unit, recommended replacement, rather than repair due to cost. We scheduled replacement, but before the new unit came in we smelled the burning odor again, called Andrew and he came right out and turned the breaker off under the house.The following week Travis, Dustin and Brady spent the entire day replacing the unit. They were very professional, neat, informative, and did not leave until everything was double checked and we were satisfied that everything was working. We are very pleased with Grayson and their team, and highly recommend their services.

I was contacted by Will, who advised me what time he would be at my residence. He greeted me with a smile although it was storming and late in the day. After inspecting my A/C unit and discovering that it was a minor issue he fixed the problem and referred their yearly maintenance. I was very impressed with Will and will be using Grayson’s for all of my air conditioning and heating service.

We have used Grayson for about a year now and the service has always been outstanding. So, this past Friday night when heat pump died, I didn’t hesitate to call them. Will came out within the hour and provided several options to meet our needs. We took the next day to decide which solution was best for us before calling Will back Sunday morning to let him know we were ready to order. He promptly came back to go over the order with us and even brought a pair of loaner window units to help cool the house.The new unit was installed yesterday and we couldn’t be happier. The install itself was very neat, actually better than the old system, and the guys cleaned up the job site so well you would never know they were there. Will Whiting came out today to repair my Generac Guardian standby generator. He did a great job and suggested a simple modification that would prevent external tampering with the generator. The generator is back up and working great. I really appreciate the professionalism and courtesy Will and Greysons provided, so much so that I opted for their maintenance contract for my generator. I cant go without a generator as I am dependent on it for CPAP.....and who wants to go without a generator during hurricane season? Thanks Guys!

Having the heating/air conditioning units inspected twice a year gives me great peace of mind. Andrew, the technician, was on time and very thorough and helpful. He explained in detail some suggested upgrades, but without pressuring me. This service is well worth it.

I had a funky smell in my home and called Grayson AC. Garrett was the service man. He was on time and very professional. I bought the annual service plan. He inspected both the inside and outside units. He found mold and dust in my ducts. He offered to either replace the ducts or install this Reme Halo LED air purification light system in the duct that is supposed to kill the mold and get my house smelling normal again. I chose to install this air purification LED light and hope that it works in killing the mold and ridding my house of this funky smell. The light and the service to install this light was not cheap but that was to be expected I guess. It was however cheaper than replacing the ducts. Overall Garrett was very professional and on time and explained everything very well. I would recommend Grayson AC based on the service that I experienced. If anyone has any experience on this air purification system in their homes I would like to hear them.

Initially called Graysons to have them come out to conduct an inspection on our old 15 year old OEM system. Of course it was replacement time for the heat pump and air handler. Inspection team provided options and literature for repairs or replacement. The office got us set up with new equipment in less than an hour. The next day the two installers arrived and conducted the rip out of the old equipment and installation of our new equipment. Work took about 12 hours to complete in 2 days as they had to work around hard rain and showers. But they got it done in a safe, clean, courteous and respectful manner. Top notch performance by the inspection team, the office staff, and especially the installers. High recommendation to them to either service, repair, or replace your existing equipment. Well done and Thank You.

Travis and Dustyn just finished a tear out of our old HVAC Air Handler/Heat exchanger and installation of a brand new unit. It was an all day process and they made it as painless and uneventful as possible.

Their technician, Garrett Austin, came out to my house to do my first 6 month inspection. I just bought the house 8 months prior. He was very friendly and helped me to understand just how a heat pump works. He performed the usual maintenance and informed me I was spending too much money on the air filters I was buying and that something a little cheaper and not as high end was all I needed. He discovered mold in the AC ductwork. He even took pictures to show me as proof. All I saw was dollar signs because I thought all of the ductwork would have to be pulled out and replaced. He informed me that they have a system that both shines UV light on the internals of the unit, as well as puts out hydro-peroxides throughout the ductwork that kills the mold, but also gets rid of the typical house smells. I noticed a difference in the smell of the house immediately. What I thought was a neutral small really wasnt. Now there truly is a neutral smell to the house. While that system does cost a little money, it is nowhere near the money replacing all of the ductwork would have cost. So I am quite happy. I will definitely be using them again and hopefully it will be Garrett that comes back out.

I just had my more than 20 year old central air conditioning and gas furnace replaced with a new upgraded 21st century variable 5 speed system. After the installation, there was an immediate noticeable difference in the rapid cooling power of the new system (we knew that part). Just wanted to say thank you for a fast response even the day after Hurricane Sally to get us up and running on our in-house generator that was installed recently. It was a minor repair but mostly appreciated. Really appreciated the quick follow through and professionalism.

I was highly impressed by the service delivered from beginning to end with Grayson Heating and Air. You cant go wrong using them! Below is a more in-depth account of my experience.---------------------------------------------I called on a Monday. The two ladies in the office, Carolyn and Tracy, were extremely attentive and thorough answering my questions when I called the office.They were able to get Will Whiting out to my house the very next day on Tuesday afternoon to take a hands on look at my AC system situation. The entire time he was out of his van he took every precaution necessary to ensure mine and his safety with the COVID situation going on. He got me a range of estimates for repairing and or replacing my system by the next morning on Wednesday. The estimate was spot on. We had gotten a quote for one of the things that Will quoted us a few months prior and he was right in that same range so I knew the prices were fair.Once my wife and I determined what we wanted to do, I got back in touch mid-day Wednesday with Will and he got us set up for a Friday installation.In this day and age, most companies give you a 4 hour window of arrival and you sit and wait for their people to show up. Grayson gave us solid accurate times of arrival and came exactly when they said they would.The install team that came on Friday were super nice and respectful of my wife and 3 month old. Andrew. Travis, and Donald all made sure that my wife knew when they were coming down the stairs or in and out of the house. They took every precaution to protect my property and protect us while they were here given the ongoing COVID Situation.The system is performing exactly like we were told. The house was already cooling off within hours of the system being activated. Our temperature has stayed exactly where we set it. There are no hot and cold spots, its consistent throughout the house.The best part of all? The savings on our power bill. It has been almost a week since the system was installed. Every single day since, Alabama Power is reporting our usage has dropped $5 a day. The system is going to be saving us close to $150 or more a month off our power bill! I have been using Grayson for 2 years now and so impressed with everyone at this company. Had a great experience today with Chase who went above and beyond with his service call today. My sister called them for me after my local AC company had given me an outrageous quote after finding mold in my current AC system. Peter came out almost immediately and after reviewing and inspecting my 2 systems came up with a more reasonable plan and discussed it with me thoroughly and provided a written quote. The technicians that came out the next day to make adjustments in my current system were excellent, keeping me informed of their progress and then reviewing all the work they had done, making sure I was aware of other potential costs and getting my upfront approval. They also cleaned up and left my home looking great after. I now have UV lights installed and have moved my annual service contract to this excellent company. Over The Top Experience!On Friday, I inquired about possibly getting a more energy efficient unit due to mine being 20 years old. Richard came out and gave me several different options to weigh. They told me they could install it as early as Monday! I ended up going with the infinity system. This thing is a BEAST! Grayson Air Conditioner gave me everything I asked for with no gimmicks! I asked if it were possible to complete in one day, and they made it happen! They also blew in 16 bags of insulation in my attic, which before was almost non exsistent! I would say they are an honest group of guys, and would recommend them over and over again. The quality of service is impeccable! Thanks for everything!

I just had the summer inspection of my 15 year old Heat/AC unit by the very polite and efficient technician Garrett on Tuesday, May 26. He serviced the unit, and explained why a $2,000 part needed replacement. Garrett took the time discuss my two options: replace the costly part on an outdated unit or consider a new one. He also mentioned that Grayson offers monthly payment plans with no interest for a new unit. I told him I would let him know the following day. We have used another local HVAC company for 11 years and had grown increasingly frustrated with their customer service and maintenance of our home systems. After waiting weeks to have our new generator installed, through two hurricanes and three days of unexplained missed appointments, we finally overcame inertia and our skepticism that any HVAC company would be any better and switched to Grayson. What a remarkable difference! Chase showed up on a Saturday when he said he would, explained the problem (which was thankfully small and inexpensive -- a phenomenon that never occurred with the other company) and fixed the issue. He was pleasant, professional and efficient, but took the time to make sure we understood the problem and solution. Weve had the same experience discussing our generator needs with the pros at Grayson. Not only have they communicated well and educated us on generator-related issues, they communicated with each other which indicates a well-managed company. Garrett Austin did a super job servicing our hvac system! We needed some things done to help it run more efficiently and Garrett explained everything including photos of the problem, and made sure he had permission to proceed. I highly recommend having a service agreement with Grayson Air Conditioning!

I just had a new unit installed in addition to an older unit serviced, and I just want to point out that I will be sticking with Grayson for future business. Garret and David both installed the new unit with good time and consideration. I appreciate their work and look forward to doing business with Grayson again.

AC went out Aug 2019. Called them due to the good reviews. They sent someone who barely looked at it and stated that it was the thermostat and if they replaced it that would fix the problem. They put a thermostat in that was extremely expense (but gave me 15% off due to the service contract I apparently agreed too?) 10 Minutes later the AC went out again and when they returned they told me it was in fact the actual unit and it needed to be replaced or have a new mother board. But they could not do anything about the over priced thermostat they assured me would fix the problem...because opppss it was already installed. Did not offer to refund or partial refund or apply it to a new unit or mother board if I decided to go with them for replacement. The only reason they called was to scheduled my next service (that I already paid for apparently in Aug 2019). I can tell you I would rather have paid the 15% because it was cheaper then the 175 I paid for the service contact. Then I was told that it did not look like I called about the thermostat not working. So I let the person know, that was the call 10 minutes after they left because the AC went out. Which the person did see and all I received was a OHHH. I was also informed they would hate for me not to get the service I already paid for as in there are no refunds. But no worries they were not concerned about customer service because they are so expensive because they have a big company and have to pay for things like the trucks they need to drive. And that a direct quote from the service man! NEVER AGAIN!

I just had them replace my 23 year old Rheem system with a brand new Carrier after I came home to a 83 degree house for a second time! Donald and Chase both came out on separate occasions after hours to address the heat and both were outstanding!! The install techs (David, Billy, and Michael) were fast, professional and everything is spotless! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 🏆 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did you know theres a place in all units that a capful of bleach is supposed to be put?! It keeps black mold and other harmful pathogens from the inside unit!! Along with the quarterly contract costly repairs, parts, labor and service calls for maintenance are offered at DISCOUNTED PRICES. HIGHLY-QUALIFIED techs come out to inspect the HVAC every season making sure everything is in order and working just fine! I have had my current unit for 14yrs now. Maintaining it with their services you know if theres a problem before theres actually a problem!HVAC doctors that come out with a smile and knowledgeable about everything related- inside and outside units, air filter checks and with a few tricks of the trade they keep systems running optimally and for a longer lifespan. Because they inspect and adjust settings my power bill has been consistent and LOWER than before using them! Who doesnt like saving money and knowing what to expect?! I sure do!!!Thank you Grayson for the hard work that has kept my cheapo Adams builder grade AC in PERFECT SHAPE- long outliving almost every other in the neighborhood, even the newer ones!I like it ARTIC COLD here in Mobile, AL in my 1200 ft² home. I pay roughly $120/mo for power with AC set to 70. Theyre working some kind of magic for my bill to stay that low with it running constantly.Again, I cant praise them enough!
