I have lived in this apartment for 3 years. I recently moved into a bigger unit in May and have experienced a big roach problem. When I reached out to the manager she stated that pest control would come out and exterminate on the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and as I was walking back to my car she came and notified me that they did not have a key to enter my apartment, (mind you it is 4:30pm and no one called to see if I could provide them a key) and that she would need me to go and get a key made. she handed me 4 trap stations to go place in my apartment even though I am charged monthly for pest control. It has been 3 weeks and still no extermination has happened. They filed eviction because I refused to pay $1500 to live in a roach infested apartment. I have asked for corporates number and she avoided the question. Not to mention the parking is HORRIBLE. Yesterday there was a note left inside my apartment stating that my apartment looked abandoned even though all my things were still there. What makes this so crazy is that now after eviction was filed they found a key to enter the dwelling.
Be prepared to not find parking, literally having to walk to an opposite side of the complex and having to leave your apartment 10 minutes earlier just to get your car! Be prepared to have massive roaches entering your space, ants coming out of your outlets, earwigs, and bugs I’ve NEVER seen before, to share your same living space! If you ask for pest control to come spray, get ready for them not to show up! Yes, it’s a quiet complex, but so outdated for the price. Needs remodeling and lots of repairs and totally not worth living here.
I live here now. Nice complex, but the biggest issue is parking. If you want to park close to your building forget about it. Then they charge tenants for reserved parking. It should be already included. Pool area out dated and trash pick up comes whenever they feel like it. For the price i pay monthly i excepted better.
Moved here 3 months ago - chill complex with nice pool/interiors and not too much noise. Staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance usually takes care of things same day! Pool area is great!
These people are a rip off! After explaining the requirements and telling me to fill out the application. They kept my 210 dollar app fee, after telling me the reason being is my puppy was a pitbull. On the page of the rental, it says ANY dog, BIG OR SMALL.They took my money and now they say they will not return it.
I have been living here for 10 months and it has been a great great experience. The front desk are really helpful and welcoming, and make sure that everyone is well attended to. Also, the maintenance service is super fast here, which further eases things a lot.
Excellent management and maintenance crew. Apartments are clean and the community friendly. Family and I have loved our stay here for the last year!
Wonderful staff! So friendly and welcoming! They really make this feel like a neighborhood. I absolutely love it here!
I have being staying here since 2019 and I have never had any problems with the services or coming to the front office these guys and women are awesome also even maintenance. Emily and I’m not sure what the other guys name are but they are treating us all well we love it here.
The manager at the sync is amazing very helpful and the apartments are in a great location. I recommend anyone to stay here
Living here has been great! The management is amazing and very helpful. Maintenance is quick (when needed) and very friendly. Great location.
Just moved in today makes a week. Front desk is very nice and easy to get along with. Bri is awesome. I had a very easy move in and the steps were pretty simple and smooth. Atmosphere is very quiet and neighbors are calm and chill. I do however prefer you to get reserved parking or garage parking spaces fill up very fast.
I have only been living here for a week an a half so my review is premature. I moved from California and am experiencing really good vibes in Houston Texas. So far living at SYNC at Sienna Plantation has been a really good experience. I love my manger and assistant manager Adriana Emily. I could not have asked for a better Management team.
Tires get slashed more than once and office doesnt want to add cameras
I am looking for a 2 bedroom home as I just gave my 60 days notice. I just spoke with The Sienna Community to an Adrian and was amazed by the friendly and professional service. You just dont see that any more. With all the places I looked I was ignored, floor plans and prices shoved in my hand, taken out to tour without even a hi whats you name. However at Sienna was different, so informative and was so proud to share the community with me.
This is the most amazing apartment complex that I’ve stayed it. Extremely quiet and clean. Also the management is always helpful as well as very welcoming and respectful
Thumbs up to Adrian and Jessica for the exceptional customer service and level of professionalism! They made the application and move in process seamless. The warmth and care demonstrated made us feel like we were old friends being welcomed back home after a long journey. The apartments more than exceeded our expectations. Beautiful! Awesome location and minutes way for everything you need! Thank you, Adrian & Jessica!
Went to tour property and got GREAT customer service!! Every employee that I met there was very pleasant and helpful. Property looked very clean and quiet. Definitely choosing to live here is the best option we have seen from multiple properties we toured.
Only been a part of the community for 9 months but I love it!! Its a very nice and quiet culturally mixed community. The staff is amazing!! Yes, there are a few things I would suggest changing such as creating more parking spaces, adding sprayers to the kitchen sinks, updating the washer/dryer units and supplying more storage space but beyond that, I feel its a very nice place to live. Theres wasted space on some of the balconys that could be used for small storage closets. It would be nice if there were plans on future construction of this space. It may be the neighbors I have and/or the location of my unit but I rarely hear my neighbors. A minimal amount of kids bounce basketballs at times but theyre kids who live in an apartment complex, noise is to be expected. I love the idea that the residence feel comfortable enough to exercise by walking the apartment community daily. Whether the weather is warm or cold, several people take to walking the area. It would be nice to have a walking path put inside the complex.
We have been here for almost a year. We havent had any issues up until the last couple months. We had some problems in our last apartment so we were transferred to another. Amber is about the only pleasant one at this point. The front desk employees are rude. While signing our lease agreement we were asking questions to the front desk guy and he started raising his voice at my boyfriend and his father. I guess he didnt have the answer or knew how to answer the question and grew frustrated. Just today I went in to see if I could get in my old mail box cause I was expecting some time sensitive mail and she said to give her a few minutes and she would help me. I went to get my kids out of the car and come back in. She tells me it will be 30 minutes cause she has to go show an apt and asked me to wait. I had my kids and all I needed was my mail which would have taken 1 minute tops. She tells me to wait or to come back after just saying it was going to be a few minutes. I wouldnt have been so upset if she would have just told me how long it would be when I asked. This apt complex is lacking basic communication and customer service skills.
My move in process and experience was awesome with Elysian. Shawn, the assistant manager was great during the entire process. He offered assistance in many ways and replied to my 1000 questions without hesitation or annoyance! The apartment is great, the location is awesome and the specials they had were very attractive. I look forward to a great residency here for a while.
There are pros and cons to living here. More cons I would say. One being PARKING! I come home from work everyday and have to walk from the other side of the apartments to go up 2 flights of stairs. This is ridiculous. My partner already parks in the garage we have that’s FAR from our unit, and they have all of these vacant reserved spots and garages when someone like me could park. I circle the block at least 4 times. It’s a quiet, nice neighborhood but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here
Quiet, management is friendly and maintenance deals with problematic issues promptly and professionally. I have been living here for several years and have never had any problems.
I signed a pre lease agreement online and for personal reasons have asked to cancel and its 6 weeks before my move in date and instead of allowing me to cancel and penalties me $355 fees that Ive paid theyre going to require me to give a 60 day notice for an apartment I havent even taken key possession of and pay additional $2,000 to terminate the lease. Now Ive asked around to all the surrounding management properties in that area and none of them do that including my friend who is a manager at one of the neighboring properties so all the reviews on this property seem to be on point because they are not flexible or understanding instead they would like to keep a disgruntled tenant.
They let anyone move in here which means all your neighbors are the rudest people I’ve ever met. From running, yelling, and slamming doors all day and night to screaming at the pool at 1 am. No one has any common courtesy, maintenance takes forever, everything breaks, and no one who works here cares. Run now! Cannot wait to move out!
Been here a few months and really glad I decided to move here. Everyone has been helpful in making sure anything I need is taken care of. Cant wait to take a dip in the pool! Also love the location!
Adrian has really made changes to the apartment the property is very clean and very professional business oriented I recommend anyone to move here
I was a resident at Sync. This is by far the worst apartment I have lived in. The leasing agents make it feel like you’re living in a college dormitory. Not as if you’re living at the comfort of your own home. Communication and customer service from agents are below satisfactory. I would never recommend this place...
While shopping for an apartment with my boyfriend, we stopped by to tour the Elysian. This complex was at the top of our list. During the tour, the staff member who showed us around was extremely unprofessional. After inappropriate questions about our relationship and flirtatious comments, we are no longer considering living here. Its a shame that such a nice property is managed by a company that allows their staff to display their lack of professionalism to the public.
Kudos to adrian and entire office staff for the delicious breakfast that was served to its residents recently...it was my first time and wont be my last! adrian and jessica keep up the good work!
Pro - It is a quite apartmentCon- parking is an issue- I would rate the maintenance a zero on the scale of 0-10. My stove suddenly stopped working while cooking and I put in a work order and I called the office just to hasten the process and a lady told me its not an emergency and they would fix it when ever they are able to. I find that really unprofessional and rude. Firstly of all, My food went bad because I had no were else to finish cooking the food.Secondly, not every family eats out and to stay without a stove for 2 days - thats ridiculous! I have no clue when they would fix it. This is day 2.Thirdly, I pay rent and I dont leave in the apartment for free! Its the apartments responsibility to prioritize especially when I mentioned I had food on the stove. My husband and I have been eating out since it happened.I know every apartment has its pros and cons, but this is ridiculous. If understaff, kindly get enough staff to carter to the needs of the residents.
Office empty all day Saturday. No note. Closed on Sundays. Residents leave messages, no call back. Not impressed.
Update on previous review:The apartment complex is not bad at all. It is in a great area, zoned to great schools. The facilities are overall really nice. The neighbors can be a little shady sometimes. Frequent car break ins, etc. Pretty normal for most apartments in the Houston area..Office staff has undergone tons of changes and has done well. They have always been helpful, even though not always the most organized and sometimes impossible to reach on the phone. The utility bills are crazy high. My rent was $1050, but with trash, sewer, water, electric, and all the Sienna MUD taxes added on, my monthly cost to stay in a small 2 bedroom apartment was $1500. The utility bills were the biggest problem I had with the apartments while I lived there. The last reason for a 2 star review was the move-out process. I bought out of my lease early. I gave them almost $3,000 to break the lease. I also had a $250 deposit on file for the apartment. Upon my final move out, they still found a way to charge me an additional $165 in move-out charges. $20/each for burned out light bulbs!!! $25 to remove a foldable beach chair!!!!......But the icing on the cake is that the apartment did not even contact me about these charges. I got a call from a threatening collection agency about 30 days after I moved out LOL.Im so glad Im done with apartments. If I ever rent again, it will be from an individual landlord, and not one of these big apartment/leasing companies. Thanks alot SYNC at Sienna Plantation for nickel and diming me for every bit you could.
I have only recently moved into the Elysian. It is very conveniently located - both for my work and also to get to all sorts of amenities.I have had no issues with management - they have all been very helpful when I have gone to talk to them (both Shawn and Manuel). I love the fact that I have a covered garage with my unit.Rent is comparable with any other similar properties in this and nearby areas and maybe even a bit more reasonable. There were some minor hiccups with the move in process - but they are slowly being sorted out.Property is very quiet and peaceful
Disappointed after the mandatory evacuation because of hurricane Harvey that I was told by the office manager that where not any contingency plans for rent to help individuals who had to use up personal resources due to this mandatory evacuation. All you see on TV is people donating and that they want to help but its interesting that the people who actually need help are never included in the allocations of these resources 🤔
Call the office the number of times a number of days no one’s ever in the office to answer a phone call from outside the building no one answered the phone walked in and there’s people sitting at the desk when I moved in they had a five star rating now they have one this could be an issue
Apartment Management,I would like to file a formal complaint. I have been a tenant for 7 months. I have paid my rent on time and maintained good standing.I went to the leasing office yesterday to request a A/C filter replacement and repair for my entry light. The leasing agent proceeded to inform me that they were aware my significant other was staying with me and I did not fill out the appropriate paperwork and that I needed to pay an additional fee. The agent was rude and disrespectful when he told me this. I was offended by his tone. He proceeded to threaten me, stating that l would be removed if I didnt comply within 48 hours.I do not have an issue with adding the additional person and paying the fee. But I did feel he was extremely rude. He proceeded to evoke me repeatedly stating that I was acting as if I wanted to fight. I had no such thought and I dont behave in that manner. I truly felt racially profiled. I am happy with my apartment but I should be treated and talked to with respect
Pros:Great location (near highway 6, in Sienna plantation), beautiful apartments, quiet area, safe neighborhood feel and well kept groundsCons:Management is inefficient & slow, not enough parking spaces, too many rules, expensive rent and lack of transparency (rules seem to change overnight)Conflict Resolution: The contract is convoluted so be careful terminating your contract early. Staff at the office may give you quotes but that doesnt cover all the fees such as concession fee, utilities and other fees. Be aware! Avoid talking to Manny at front desk. Ask to talk to Julie or Shawn if you want accurate information. Shawn personally helped me by waiving fees that Manny neglected to tell me about and helped me save money. Thank you for that extraordinary customer service.
Nice service, quiet atmosphere, clean pools, conveniently located. I love it here.
I have lived here for four years and i like it. The location is good and the property is well kept.
The little black girl in the office, I think her name is Mia, is rude and obviously does not like her job.. She always has an attitude when you go in the office for a question.. Very disrespectful, and you will not be able to turn this place around with rude employees.. She is one of the main reasons my wife and I will not do a new lease.. 3 months count down...
The community is quiet for the most part and the grounds keepers keep everything nice and neat. The maintenance team is VERY slow to respond to service requests. As of today, I have been waiting a week for a service call to be addressed in my apartment.
Good, quiet community. Maintenance is very responsive to any needs. Management has been very helpful and nice.
The new staff is AWESOME! Very prompt and professional!
The worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Worst management. Cheapest, most outdated interiors. The residents should come together and sue, file a lawsuit against the ‘management’ for negligence.A week ago, 50 cars were broken into in our complex. Why? Because the gate sat broken (open) for weeks. I’m sure they’d say ‘it was parts’ ya da ya da.. they could have closed it.I put in a work order for my ceiling fan in the den. Still doesn’t work. Third time I’ve asked for them to fix it. The best part - the previous resident installed it ( not my fault ) and they cant work on it. But they charged the previous resident. Why did they charge them? They didn’t fix anything or change anything. Crooked management. It also took over a month, A MONTH for someone to come out on my previous work order. And on the tour, the guys were playing pool. Awesome. Glad they’re staying busy.they delete reviews on their own website as well, just an fyi - you definitely can’t trust these folks. So I’ve already told a few people in person but do NOT live here. It’s crooked management.
The office staff are not the slightest bit concerned about pest control and the comfort of their residents. Instead of being proactive with pest control, they are reactive and you have to wait until a specific day, no matter how urgent it is, to have your apartment treated. This is my second experience with roach issues and I am not happy about it! I asked the assistant manager to have someone come out and try to nail down the source of the roaches and they couldn’t even do that. Beyond disappointed and disgusted! Also, my toilet overflowed this morning and I called after hours maintenance, took them over 2 hours to come to my apartment and the first thing the maintenance guy told me was “we don’t help clean up the water, we will come fix your toilet though” RIDICULOUS! Never mind the fact that the toilet clogged because I flushed a roach in a paper towel down the toilet! If you would’ve helped me with my first request 2 months ago about the roaches, none of this would happen! Not thrilled with this place at all!
Dear Jonathan and Mia thank you so much for helping me make SYNC at Sienna Plantation my home! You both rendered great service, but because of Kellys actions and her verbage about my family and our situation, I am declining to move into the property. My family just moved to the Houston area and just started working and we chose Sienna to call home, but because we were receiving help from Fort Bend Social Services until we got paid, Kelly made the following unpleasing remarks to the social services representative: It is company policy that we can not take the vocher we need a cashiers check she also stated that if we need help now, we will need it later and the situation did not sit well with her.The social services representative, was floored and shocked, I truly feel like I have been racially profiled! I have Asian friends that applied there and changed their mind, and she gave them their whole deposit back, but she told me I could not have mine back due to liquid damage, or something of the sort.As a result of that my attorney, will be in contact with the owner.Mia and Jonathan, nothing against you two, and I am sorry that you work with such a vicious person, who has no regard to human mankind, but I simply cannot subject my family to an organization who hates African Americans.I make 27.00 an hour, have two degrees and was racially profiled for having a misfortune in life. Kelly never looked at my face, shook my hand, nor talked to the owner on my familys behalf, but she gladly took my money order!I am not pleased, and I will make sure that goolge, Facebook, the public and the owner hears me out!
Pros;- New office hours (open on Sundays)- More care is being given to the facility- Responsive staff- Good neighborhood and good schoolsCons;- Rent is a bit too high!!-There is still no solution for the 118.00+ dollars water bills.
I love it!!! Its very nice and quiet. Im loving my new home and I am very grateful!!! Management Rocks!!!
Great place to live. I just renewed my lease.
Terrible Service!!! MIA at the office should be fired for her rudeness- I will turn down every client that wants to move in here- REMOVE MIA SHE IS COSTING YOU POTENTIAL CLIENTS
This place is horrible parking is terrible they change management like every other month. They also over charge for apartments and maintenance are so damn slow all they do is drive around in golf carts on their phone I would never recommend this place to anyone!! Stay away from this place you will never see your deposit once you put that down. my wife and I cleaned that place top to bottom and the drip pans and they still charged us what a joke! and then they want to keep charging you for pest control when you dont use it. Wish i coukd give this place a negative stay away trust me
Great location and nice apartment!
Really horrible, had issues since I moved in. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Great apartments and great staff
They will keep your deposit. Make up stories about how you left the apartment.
Horrible Management!
