I have contacted blackfoot communications in the Island park area three times for internet service. They say they will call me back with availability. They never have. Going on three months. They are in my area, my neighbor has it. I guess I will pay for half my neighbors bill and get a directional antenna. They are spending millions putting in fiber optic, why?skyline is a viable option in a few months!

Tim (servicing the Granite county area) is the only reason Im leaving a positive review, and it is because of him Im giving 5 stars. I had the worst customer service from previous IT employees at Blackfoot, that is until Tim came and fixed my WiFi connection. For over a year I experienced intermittent connectivity and it was never fully resolved. I had several techs come out to fix the problem and never actually remedied it. Until finally they sent a tech who actually cares. Tim took the time to uncover multiple causes of my connection issues. Since he fixed the issues my WiFi has not had a single glitch! Not only is he professional and knowledgable he shows genuine interest for the customer, and is a funny guy to boot! Blackfoot should hire more employees like Tim!

Internet is the worst in the area (Alberton) fiber at the corner of the property. You dont get what you pay for. Paying for 15 down 2mbps up. Usually 12 to 9mbps down. upload is 1.5mbps directly from modem. the only choice for internet without paying a premium.

This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with! I have never left a review, but this company put us off for over 3 months giving us the run around and now we can’t even get internet till maybe April and they still want me to keep calling so my work order doesn’t get put aside. I wish I didn’t have to use them but they are the only company for the area. I see by the reviews they aren’t very good and only responds to good reviews.

We have repeated had great experiences with Blackfoot. We live way out, and they fixed any issue very quickly, answer the phone quickly, no outsourcing... everything they do is local. I really like Blackfoot and would recommend them to anyone!

We just had Tim help us install our new internet at two locations in Drummond. Overall he did nice work! Efficient, friendly, intelligent and willing to trouble shoot when we had a few issues with our old wiring. Thank you Tim for a great experience!

Been without Internet for almost 2 weeks. How to repair ticket done told that would they would be here on Tuesday. called me that morning saying they wont be coming out till friday after I called off for work. No consideration. I will be leaving Blackfoot.

Blackfoot is by far the best internet provider in the world or at least in the United States. The service is reliable. The employees I have interacted with are efficient, knowledgeable, and polite. If you have a choice, pick this company.

We used the e bill site to pay our phone/internet bill and the next day we came home to no service at all! Needless to say we were unhappy. We usually get home from work around 6:00PM or later, so Blackfoot was closed and we can do nothing about it!

Waited on the phone for over 40 minutes, listening to their wait message EVERY 30 seconds about how valuable my time is-They really need to let people know how insanely long they are going to wait to talk to someone-or get more people hired to answer the phone

I had Blackfoot internet for two years and never had any problems with them. Customer service was great and friendly whenever i had to call in for something. Sadly Im moving and they dont reach where Im moving to, but i would definitely use them again in the future!

The service it terrible, people came to our house and cut off our internet for a mistake they made. The Internet speed are horrible. Pay for high speed and get 10 megabits on a great day, it cuts in and out, it’s horrible. I wouldn’t wish this internet on the worst of people

Poor out of state technical support Dont even know how there equipment works. Poor customer relations Pay your bill to out of state firm. Why buy blackfoot ?? They dont care about montana or its customers. If you cant use Montana employees or business to operate we shure dont need blackfoot.

Worst experience I could have had. We were lied to throughout the whole process by Dennis the owner, manager. Zero communication from management when service was down. Multiple service and internet issues. Took 2 years of complaints for them to come and replace faulty dish. Once we cancelled due to terrible experience they hit us with a contract breaking bill to the tune of $2,000.If you are a business I would never use this company. They are dishonest even on their best day.There is better providers out there.

How can anyone say anything bad about Blackfoot Telephone? I have been with them for over 30 years. Ive always, always gotten a friendly person who answers the phone, who is knowledgable and cheerful. Their products are excellent and it a co-op...it local and personal. They are the best at what they do.

The worst customer service weve ever had, PERIOD. We spent over 3 hours on the line with customer service and didnt get the problem solved. So were moving to a provider who actually knows something. (Were cancelling our phone service with them too.) I think youd be better off without Internet than to go through Blackfoot Comm.

Called to set up internet service. Answered all the normal questions. I was iinstructed on how to hook cables to phone jack and power source inside also to hook outside line from external phone jack to our home. When I asked a service person was coming to do this I was informed yes they could but it would take 2 months. Who in their right mind hooks up their own phone and internet service? No thank you Blackfoot, Ill go else where

My internet went out from a storm in the late hours on a Tues. Called wed. Morning. Got a recording saying that they were aware of it. Waited all day nothing fixed. Called later afternoon. Gave me a couple things to try, nothing worked. He said he would put out a repair ticket. Called fri. Morning as thurs. Was a holiday. Nobody came. Called later in the afternoon. Apparently nobody could come out. Maybe Monday someone could. So pretty much a whole week with no internet. Lousy customer service.

I love their customer service. They always find a solution to my issues and I have had some issues that took unique fixes. I am on my internet all day long and am on with people all over the world. I do go2meetings with people and have had very little issues. When I have issues the tech support will work with me to resolve them and they always get resolved. I have had other internet providers in the past and I never have had as good technical support as I do now. I did not have their phone service because they did not have unlimited long distance but they do now so I have gone to their phone service. I love Blackfoot.

Paying for high speed, but I only clock 1mb with 3rd party speed test. They dont deliver what you are paying for!? Also they get bogged down every evening. Dont charge for high speed when you cant deliver! Its like paying for unlimited minutes on a cell phone and only getting 500. Whats the point? Customer service is okay but they are not skilled or knowledgeable any anything except processing your payments. Avoid if you can but they have the monopoly here. Guess thats why they dont care.

Took me 45 min to post this review as I had to wait for the Internet to work for just long enough to go though been off and on for about a day now I dont call them anymore as all there training is turn your modem off and wait one min then turn it back on ...did that work hummmm well then we dont have clue as to why we suck so BAD but can still charge you for a service we know we cant provide ...I have all but stopped trying with this company when it comes to reliable Internet I just use my phone Verizon but I live way out so I am forced to use this joke of a company for my home Internet and they know that a lot of use would leave but cant at this time but one day we will have more choices of providers and this company will be laughed out of business by the tech world when it get here...
