Chuck was easy to work with, and he did a great job on our heavily deteriorated oak floor. Our kitchen floor featured several areas where careful detail work was necessary, and he took the time to make sure it was done right. We have rough hewn floors and wanted to keep them without having to sand down. We also had used products to clean the floors that were not compatible with HD finishes. Chuck researched and made sure we had the right finish. The floors are beautiful.

Ace did an outstanding job refinishing our hardwood floors. We had one room so damaged from carpet glue/backing that it left our room unusable. Chuck gave us a great price and found a time to get us in quickly. When he showed up and saw the state of the rest of the floors upstairs, he suggested getting them all done (explaining why that was a good idea thoroughly.) Well, he was right! We could not be more happy with our refinished floors!!! They are BEAUTIFUL and really brighten up the whole upstairs! When looking for someone to refinish my floors, I was looking for someone who did a good job and was reasonably priced. Chuck more than exceeded my expectations. In addition to the above, we found him to be professional, punctual, and an all-around good guy. The work that he did was top notch and his rates were very reasonable. Solid company. After attempting to refinish a section myself I decided to call in the professionals - very glad I did. Good price and exceptional service. Hello,For all those DIY folks out there like myself I would highly recommend contracting a professional floor re finisher like ACE Flooring. I began the project myself with a sander from a tool rental. Before the floors were ready I began looking for a product to apply and called ACE Flooring for product help. Chuck was able to meet me the same day to look at the floor that I had prepped (I thought I was ready) but far from it. Calling ACE was the best choice I made as he had a fair price with a crew on site to take over and did a fantastic job. We had Chuck come out for an estimate at our home to refinish our hardwood floors. Even though this was a small job it was not an easy job. We had a long run with lots of dips and grooves from years of abuse from kids and dogs not to mention lots of corners that required hand sanding. Not an easy area to get your equipment in to but we have to say Chuck takes pride in his work and it showed when we saw our floors. WOW - they look amazing. Chuck evened out the floors and did a better job than the original installers 15 years ago. Our floors look better than brand new. He knows this business, uses some older techniques lost in the trade today and boy it sure showed in our home. Thanks Chuck, we highly recommend his services to anyone thinking about having their hardwood floors refinished.

Chuck is the person you want working on your floors. Chuck is a perfectionist. It pains him when he cant get something done perfect. I bought a house that had oak floors that were covered up with carpet. Once the carpet was completely torn out we found that someone had thought it would be a good idea to nail down the wood floors in places where it squeaked. Obviously not what you want to find. Also the people who laid the carpet put deep razor cuts into the wood floors. Chuck did a fantastic job covering up the nail holes. To the trained eye they are still detectable, but given what he had to work with it was nothing short of amazing what he did. The razor cuts are completely gone. We also ran into delays because there was a lot of work being done in our house. Chuck was incredibly flexible and understanding. I really appreciated this. To boot, Chuck had a very competitive bid. You can do no better than Ace Wood Flooring.

Chuck took care of a nasty, stain depleted dirt track in my hardwoods. He did it timely and they look wonderful.He insisted that I pay him the minute they were finished (with one days notice) even though I told him I was in NC (he was working on my rental.) I told him Id mail him a check but he said it wouldnt be fast enough because he had some personal issues going on at the time and needed the money. I found that slightly pestering as I had to take time off of work to keep running to the bank to get money transferred to him. I wouldnt normally do this but Chuck did such a great job I decided to oblige.That aside, he seems to be a perfectionist and I will certainly use him again.

I am more than happy with my refinished oak floors completed by Chuck of Ace Wood Flooring. Very professional in all aspects of the job. He turned my floors which had much abuse including some water damage into the most beautiful wood flooring I have ever seen. His pricing also was the best in town. He never waivered on his quoted price even after finding some damage when he removed the carpeting.
