Horrible customer service from the manger of geek squad today at 3:30pm short skinny man with a pony tail long hair. He was completely rude and no help! I had an appointment stood in line For 20 mins. To Be told another 45 mins for nothing. And this isn’t after the fact I came in at 12 to Be told he needed a manger to do anything. Waste of had and my to time ! I will Be reaching out to corporate he was beyond rude and not helpful. He gave me attitude not a good Face to represent geek squad. IM a paying customer. $50 for 2 years . This is what I get! Don’t buy geek squad protection. Get square trade. Way better.
Excellent service. We used Geek Squad to install our new Bosch dishwasher and initially had a problem with water coming out of the air gap. This was not caused by Geek Squad, instead it was the more powerful drain pump in the dishwasher. Rather than return the dishwasher, they came back out and spent 3 hours reworking the drain configuration (at no charge) to resolve the problem.
I was told that Geek Squad does data retrieval for iPhones. I even talk to an agent via BestBuy App Geek Squad live chat and she said they do. So I went ahead and scheduled the soonest appointment and headed over to BestBuy Geek Squad center. They straight out told me that they don’t do iPhone data retrieval. Save your time and don’t go to Geek Squad for this issue. Arghhhhhhh!!!
Scheduled a car install to find out it was never made took off work and now being transferrred to many different people having to explain myself.
Called days in advance- Steve in car audio mentioned he could fit me in at 2pm Friday. Showed up and told me he had to reschedule me. Poor customer service and terrible to reach on the phone.
Rip off. Call a local tech.
