They were great! From the manager all the way to the wonderful man who brought my car to me at the repair shop! They worked with me even when my car repairs took longer than anticipated and we’re always so sweet. Definitely a great team here!
They were accommodating and thorough. The car selection was not huge but the small Nissan was adequate for the day.
I had a rental for 2 months while my own car was having repairs from an accident. The first vehicle they gave me had a bad smell, and after a few days, I discovered that there was rancid water located in the storage areas under the mats in the back seat. Everyone at Enterprise expressed their regret that this had happened and worked hard to get the car cleaned for me right away. When the smell persisted, they switched out the car. This was an unusual circumstance, but they made it right.
I just dont know how renting a vehicle could be any easier than with Enterprise! Everyone was a delight to work with!!!
Their 933 location is way better. Here, on a 3 week rental I was given an SUV that reeked of cigarette smoke. I immediately returned it but all they had was a minivan that they sprayed air freshener in before bringing it around because it too reeked of cigarette smoke. Those being my only choices, I took it home and literally kept the windows open 24/7 for a week and it still stank. In fact, on nights I parked it in the garage, I found that in the morning the entire 3-car garage stank like cigarette smoke. It also was dirty when I put the second row seats up — they were folded down in the big cargo position when they gave it to me. It also was a total gas hog. I turned it in early and got a vehicle from Hertz, which costs a bit more for comparable vehicle but was totally clean and smoke-free.Update: After seeing my review, they emailed asking for more details and said someone would contact me. I replied with all the details, two weeks ago but never heard from them. Go figure.
I will never waste my time, money or energy again renting from this company, they will take the car from you when you were told they will work with you and they will report you to the BMV if they are not happy with you as a customer. I wasted 5,000 dollars in 4 months being a loyal faithful paying customer for nothing!
I reserved a car at the Mishawaka location. When I got there they didnt have any cars back. To make up for it Quinn upgraded my car. He couldnt have been nicer or more professional!!
Thank you for the email to remind me to leave a review, as I went on with life and forgot about my experience.I left 2 stars for this particular experience, and that was being generous. I am not one to complain, and I have had decent experiences with this location in the past, but not this time. I arrived to the location to get my RESERVED vehicle. I requested an intermediate vehicle. When I got there the clerk for lack of a better word, told me that they did not have the car that I requested, and offered a 2-seater. I guess he thought he was doing me a favor by saying that he could put me in it for the same rate. When I told him that would not do, he offered an SUV, which would have met my seating needs. He goes on to say that he could come down on the price, but it was still 80-100% higher than my reservation price!!! No! That was not going to do! When I asked to speak to a manager, he just stood there. Fortunately, a guy just returned in the size that I reserved, and he said that he could clean it and put me in it. By this time, my ride had to leave, so I was left waiting on the clerk. When I got the car, it smelled of cigarette smoke, despite there being signs in the car for no smoking, and it was almost on empty. I have TWO additional reservations lined up for this company, and Im a loyal customer. I am really considering switching things up. This was a mess!
I had to pick up the car I reserved a day later than expected and it was not ready upon pickup. We had to wait for it to be cleaned which would normally be fine, but upon getting to my house to pack the vehicle for a trip, I noticed it was dirty-- old food in between and under the seats. There was mystery stickiness and what looked to be drink stains on the back seats and center console. The windshield was so dirty on the inside of the car and hard to see out of at night if a car passed by with headlights. I had to stop my trip to clean the windshield myself because it was too difficult to see through. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to leave for a 12-hour drive and also drove through the night. Because of this, I did not call to contest the condition of the vehicle; my time is precious and I didnt want to waste any of my vacation dealing with it. But, to pay $555 for a dirty car upon arrival is less than appealing. One hour into the drive, the car reported maintenance required: see dealer!, which is unsettling. It could be nothing, but I expect a car to be adequately maintained when I pick up a rental. This message kept happening every two hours, which caused me to stop and check fluids often. Thankfully, the vehicle did get me to my destination. The wipers were also complete garbage; when it rained during the drive, I could barely see because they wouldnt adequately clear away the rain. It was instead a wet blur so I had to pull over at one point to wait for the rain to subside for my safety. Once I got to my destination, I never drove the vehicle.Upon returning the vehicle, I reported these issues to the staff, who were unsympathetic to these problems. They instead pressed me on the fact that I should have called to find a new location and pick up a different vehicle, essentially saying that I needed to waste more of my time to deal with their inadequacies and inability to confirm the condition of their vehicles prior to pick-up. I asked the manager if this was typical of their vehicles to notify the driver that maintenance is required. They responded, Yes, this is typical, actually. Our dealer doesnt usually remove this alert after service. They then went on to tell me that because I was able to successfully drive the car to my destination and back, I have nothing to complain about, and once again said I should have instead spent my time finding an Enterprise location along the way and pick up a new car. When asking for a discount due to the issues I experienced, they provided just 5% because I already received a 10% employee discount... The 10% I originally received should not be factored as a bargaining chip for proper concession of an unsatisfactory experience. I expect an employee discount with A QUALITY VEHICLE. They then told me they would waive my late fee due to the inconvenience, even though the car was not late as I turned it in on the date originally listed. I was informed by a staff member upon picking up the vehicle that so long as it was turned in by their time of closing, there would be no late fee and the expected drop-off time was just a general notice. The manager I spoke to had an opportunity to give me a fair concession and make me a repeat customer, but instead, they blamed me for Enterprises inadequate vehicle conditions.Overall thoughts: lack of quality control, poor customer service, and inadequate communication between employees regarding rental policies of pick-up and drop-off. I will not rent from Enterprise in the future.
My experience with Enterprise was a very positive one. The reservation was made by my insurance company, and when I arrived, I had a very good selection of cars to select from, ready to go! When my new car was ready for pickup, I was told Enterprise would retrieve the rental car from the dealership to save me an extra trip. I would recommend Enterprise Rental Cars for any occasion.
The Mishawaka, IN branch of Enterprise is by far the worst I have ever experienced. The people who work there are rude and do not understand what customer service is. Usually you walk into an Enterprise location and people are smiling and quick to greet you. Im not sure who was more rude, the woman who checked me in or the guy who checked me out. It started and ended my trip on a bad note.
The price was right and the van ran beautifully. However, the interior had not been cleaned after the previous renter. Seats were visibly dirty and grimy; something had been splashed all over the interior windshield, and there were lots of crumbs and dirty masks left in the back. One other note to Enterprise I might add ... I enjoy listening to Howard Stern (no judgment) which is primarily why I requested Serius. However, the two Stern stations were blocked, for whatever reason. You should consider blocking some of the comedy stations instead. Many of the clips we heard were far more crude and vile than Sterns antics.
My insurance paid for the car and I was suppose to get a ford fusion, toyota camry or something that size, instead they put me in a small toyota corolla. when I called to switch cars all got was a run around and excuses. Even though they knew and admitted I was in the wrong vehicle they made no effort whatsoever to get me into the correct vehicle. Even worse, when I needed them to deliver the car we agreed on 3:30 at the jordan ford service department and they didnt show up until 4:45 an hour and fifteen minutes late with the wrong car. Then to add insult to injury the corolla had an empty gas tank .
Paid for a mid size suv and they gave me a compact, witch couldn`t seat my three grandchildren in the backseat. Two car seats and a booster, ages 3,5 and 7. Needless to say upon trying to rectify the situation, nobody would answer the phone or return my hone call . Very dissatisfied with the experience on this occasion. I would never pay for a compact vehicle when I have (3) grandchildren that need to be in the backseat.
Third time the website or phone reservation confirmed a car that wasnt there. This time they were really sorry. But never has anyone tried to make up for messing up my plans.
Amazing. I was in and out so fast (and in a very nice car), I thought they must have forgotten some paperwork or something. LOL! And the return was even faster! Friendly, fun staff, too.

I called to rent a vehicle for a specific day and was called a little while later to say I would be on a wait list. Kept the reservation, but called another rental place. The other rental agency was going to charge me double what I was quoted at Enterprise. I was called prior to Enterprise closing and was able to pick up a vehicle. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a problem with a tire going low a couple of times and had to take it in to have air put in the tire. When I brought the car back, I was given a discount for the trouble with the tire. I never asked for this discount and was surprised. I will rent from Enterprise in Mishawaka, IN again and will refer any one I know looking to rent to utilize Enterprise.
This is the worse company. Called and reserved a car due to needing to put my car in the shop. Find a rise up there to be told there arent any rentals available and the people who make the reservations get paid by the number of rentals they set so they over book. Same thing happened to a friend. Please take your business to Hertz. In and out in 20 minutes
Had a overall great experience but had the wheel hub go out in the middle of nowhere. We contacted them and got us in a new rental asap. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I had an amazing experience. Staff was friendly and fast. The vehicle was clean and amazing. I was actually kind of sad to take it back. The only reason I didn’t give five start is that the prices were high, which I get, but still. Overall a great experience.

Car was almost on empty and dirty. We weren’t given a copy of the contract and hardly any cars on the lot. Plus the rear tire was low and had to fill it with air.

This is the first time I will actually say I was not happy with the rental. The windows were dirty inside/out & hard time seeing with sun glare mixed with dirty windows, the wipers did not work when it rained, the lights came on for low tire pressure & needing a oil change the 2nd day I had it, outside of truck was not washed as to inside not wiped down (I ended up doing that, due to virus).....hard to take vehicle back when there was no other rental available per the lady but yet had to work so had no choice. So hopefully next time if I ever needanother rental, it will be in better shape.
Car was great(free upgrade), but rather irritating that website doesn’t say this location isn’t doing pickup service. That is one of the main reasons I use Enterprise. They had plenty of staff to process those picking up and dropping off vehicles. I am renting from them again next month
I had a car accident on 1/23. On 1/24 I went to the enterprise office on Edison rd in Mishawaka, in. I was helped by Marcellus whom was not very friendly and I felt i was bothering him. When asked if he needed to come out to inspect the vehicle he stated there a 26 inspection done and he wasnt coming outside. Then stated that there was 1/4 of a tank of gas and point in the general area where the vehicle was located. As I pulled out of the parking lot the tank was on empty. As I was not feeling well from the accident I just drove the the gas station. On 1/26 there was a notice that one of the tires was low. I drive back to the office and was helped by Demarcus whom was very friendly. I explained what had happened regarding the car being on empty and now the tire was low. I asked to be changed to a suv and was willing to pay a difference. Demarcus stated he would see if there was an suv that was covered by my insurance and if not we could discuss payment. As he was doing this I was waiting in the vestibule and Marcellus was taking loudly and told Demarcus not to up grade me and just put air in the tire and if he gave me an up grade that would take an up grade away from someone else. Demarcus came to the vestibule and apologized for what was said. Stated he would take care of the problem and he had a kia soul I could drive. On 2/2 I returned the kia and I believe I spoke with the manager whom I discussed above. He stated that he was in the office when Marcellus was stating I did need an up grade. But now that I am complaining about what happened he will now have a talk with him. I told the manager that I wished Marcellus was working because I feel he owes me an apology. As we were finishing up Marcellus walked into the office from the back. I turned to the manager expecting him to say something to Marcellus and for me to get an apology. At that time the manager simply looked me in the eyes and said....have a good day. As I walked out I felt as if nothing was going to be said to Marcellus. Its a shame that this happened and Im sure I am not the only one that has had the same interaction with Marcellus. If I have to come to the same office I can only hope Demarcus is working.
They were professional, and timely. Car was clean and they added days to the rental agreement flawlessly. Friendly and attentive. Service beyond my expectation.

Rental mini van was fine EXCEPT that there wasnt much gas in the tank.I drove ~100 miles before I noticed that that warning light for low on fuel came on. Supposedly, the vehicle had a 1/4 of a tank when picked up, but there was no white bars were showing on the gage. Since I was unfamiliar with this vehicle, I thought the blue bar was showing a half tank of gas. Since this vehicle gets over 30 mpg and I only drove 100 miles to my destination, there was no way I had a 1/4 of a tank of gas. I dropped off the vehicle with 1/2 tank and stated my case but wasnt given any compensation for the overage. Nor was I believed that the tank had almost no gas. CHECK YOUR GAS GAGE BEFORE LEAVING THE RENTAL PLACE!
Wasted my day driving to store. Lied to me about prices. Lied about available rentals. Dont recommend to anyone. They dont have a clue whats going on.

I was there about 2 weeks ago, Very nice very friendly everyone was. I was picked up from my location by Big Ben who was right on time and very nice. Then while i had the rental unbeknownst to any of us, the vehicle stopped on me but they fixed the situation immediately and i pleased to meet Ben T and he made my day much better. Plus they gave me all my deposit back plus some for my troubles. Those guys are amazing!

I have had 2 days of bad experiences and Im supposed to be a special customer, I cant think of the name. Yesterday I called, the lady made reservations for me, that didnt go through, they complain about that person, then y let them do it lol...so I then make my own reservation for the next day. it was for 3, I called to confirm, because Im not trusting em, and he put me on hold for about 10 minutes, never to return. I gave up. A guy finally called back at about 3:40, my reservation was for 3. I had 1st called them at 3:35..this is the Edison store in Mishawaka In.So I decided to call the Michigan St store in So. Bend. Im now wishing all goes well there tomorrow. If vehicles has to be cleaned/sanitized... figure out a way to make this work. Each day I had a person here, waiting to take me, this is terrible. Im a good customer, even bring my vehicles back clean, once not long ago I returned it cleaner than I received it, by far.

Second time I rented a car from this Enterprise both times cars were dirty the first one smelled like cigarettes this one just stunk then they tried charging me an extra day that I didnt even have the car because they told me I could drop it off at the repair shop and they would pick it up and they decided to charge me an extra day but that being said at least got my money back

Called several times with no return, emailed with no response, and sat on hold multiple times with no answer. They didnt have any trouble sending the bill to collections though!I was a long time customer, but I rent elsewhere in the future.

As an Industrial Hygienist, I have to travel a lot for work. Company policy states that any travel distance greater than fifty five miles requires a rental vehicle. Ive tried a few of the other rental places around but decided to try this one. Yesterday I went online and made reservations. When I walked into the facility, Allison greeted me with a smile and offered assistance. You would be amazed at how a simple thing could brighten your day. She was very proficient. I was in the rental and ready to go in less than five minutes. While the car reserved was not as fast as mine, it was very clean with about a full tank. It did get me to my destination and back without any issues. Once I returned, she again greeted me with the same smile and asked about my trip. Staying true to her swift professionalism, I was out the door in time to beat 4:00pm traffic. I will now use this facility for all my rental car needs. 10/10 would high five again.

My experience with Enterprise has been good. However, I am disappointed as I am trying to return home one way and the cost is $370 for a one-day drop off back to Mishawaka, Indiana or to South Bend, after paying $81 for the one-way trip to Atlanta. Please help me understand why this is so.

I was in a really bad accident where my car was totaled unfortunately but the great people at enterprise took great care of me. which lighten the situation I was just in. They got me right in and out. I even forgot my sons base for his car seat in the rental car and was able to retrieve it with no issues what so ever. Will use them again if traveling or any situation where I may need a rental. Thank you again.
We rent cars from this location several times a year. Everyone is very pleasant and professional every time. On the few occasions when the vehicle we reserved was unavailable, we have always been upgraded at no extra cost. We always use the Edison Rd. location; we tried the one in South Bend once and it was a completely different story.
Once again for many times, not too satisfied out in Mishawaka on Edison... nothing is consistent....well only my troubles. The guy that took care of me said the price was higher than what he had just told me it would be as I waited in the parking lot, because of the virus. Well, a week before over on Michigan St in South Bend, no such thing happened. Smh always something on Edison.

I highly recommend this location and have been treated very good. The reason for 4 stars is cars need to be cleaner and windshields must be cleaned way better. Learn corporate accounts and how to handle account items like jump start. All of this is minor except for the windshields in my opinion especially when driving in the early mornings and all you can see is smears and what seems to be a billion fingerprints and suction cup marks.

Had a couple issues when picking up my car I applaud the hole staff for helping me get issue solved and got me out the door and on my way very helpful and courteous to my situation would highly recommend this location
Service was excellent. The rep helped me with the walk-around and then sat with me in the car to make sure I was aware of the vehicles features. There was one small caveat; I was given the car with 1/4 of a tank of gas which I thought odd. In my experience with most car rental organizations you are given a full tank and youre expected to return it that way (or choose one of their refueling options). The car performed well on my journey and I was called the next morning as a courtesy follow-up on my experience and the bill. Overall the in-store experience is the best Ive ever seen. Great Job Enterprise!

Allison was awesome with my rental. Helpful and friendly. Initially there were no pick up trucks available, but she managed to miraculously find one after a few minutes and coordinating with other agents. Returning the vehicle was even easier with her.
I was in a car accident and started renting a car through my insurance agency. When the reservation was made through the insurance agency, I was given issues when I came in. I had to call my insurance adjuster and put him on the phone to settle the issue, because “enterprise doesn’t normally rent to 22 year olds.” Once the insurance agency stopped covering my rental, I was made aware by my insurance agency that I would be responsible for the payments until I was able to find a new car. That’s fine. However, I was not made aware of when enterprise would be charging what I owed to my bank account, or how much would be removed. My bank account was consequently overdrawn and I had to pay an overdraft fee. When I came in to settle the situation, I was told that I needed to give the keys back to the rental and that I owed an additional $160. They continued to tell me they couldn’t do anything about it. 100% do not recommend this location or company for that matter.

Its ok.We scheduled with the 800 number for a rental vehicle. As we are arriving I was informed that they didnt even have that vehicle and, in fact, they didnt have ANY vehicles. I had to go home, try reserving once again and called numerous times to try and get an update on where the heck a vehicle was. Yall, it was the middle of the week.
How much do they charge for a security deposit when paying with a debit card? is it negotiable? Ive tried calling all day today. do they answer the phones?
I got there are 3:30 PM and because I had stated my pickup time as 12 noon they let my car go to someone else. They said I had to pick it up in a 2 hour window. News to me. I could not find that in the rental agreement. They could have called. They had no other cars, so they rented me a pickup truck that had not been cleaned. Other than that, is was great.

I have always rented from Enterprise when I rent cars. This was the first time that I picked up at a different location and dropped off at another location. All went very well and I had superior service. I would definitely do it again with Enterprise! Excellent new car and service!!
The Enterprise location on Edison Rd in Mishawaka, IN is always excellent. The service is terrific, the staff is well trained and everything is very customer focused. I rent cars there every chance I get.
I rent from Enterprise at least 4 times per year and its always been a good experience. Ive never had any trouble with the service or the cars. Ive even gotten a few free upgrades when the car Ive requested became not available. Ive been using them since 2000. They are conveniently located in close proximity to my home. They would come a pick me up if I requested but Ive never felt the need to use that service as yet. Would highly recommend using their services.
I had a reservation through my insurance company and when I went in to get my car they didnt have anything. If you want a place that doesnt honor their reservations then this is the place. Im done with them. They screwed up my wifes car reservation late last year. I will be going to Hertz on McKinley. They claimed that they called and left a voice message which they did not. Pretty much a blatant lie. Dishonest. I had pretty good experience before these last two times.
Rented a full-size pick-up truck again this year. Everything was working as expected. Customer service at Enterprise is always great! Both here and at the location on Michigan Street in South Bend.
