I will never rent from Budget or this location again. When I picked the vehicle up it was okay. It appeared a little worn and had some road gravel on the front floor mat, a stain on the front passenger seat and a couple of dents in one of the doors. I didn’t think much of it at the time. That changed when I returned the vehicle. I had cleaned it out and thought it was in pretty much the same condition as when I picked it up. After a quick inspection by the attendant/manager, she informed me I would need to take the vehicle to the nearest car wash and vacuum it out or pay a cleaning fee due to “excessive” pet hair. I was stunned and thought she was joking since there was never a pet in the vehicle or anywhere near it. When I asked exactly what she was referring to, she indicated the pet hair on the front passenger floor mat. This amounted to a few white fibers that may have or may not have been pet hair and most likely came in on the bottom of someone’s shoe. She confirmed this was the only place in the entire vehicle that they were present, but still insisted that I vacuum the vehicle or pay the fee. In retrospect, she made an odd reference to pet hair in the vehicle when I picked it up which makes perfect sense now. Unfortunately this seems more like a convenient way to increase revenue as many people would just pay it. I won’t be giving them another chance to find out.

Worst rental service ever. We rented an expedition and took our 4 kids and dog to Florida for 2 weeks. Cleaned out the vehicle before returning. Lady comes out, sits in the front seat maybe one solid min, comes back in and insists the vehicle is trashed... what? Theres sand on the floor boards. It needs vacuumed. Period. Thats it and it get detailed before every customer. Absolutely ridiculous scam being run by a so called legitimate business. We will not ever be using Budget again and certainly wont be recommending them to anyone. Poor customer service. Awful woman her name is christina when I asked if it was a c or a k she said thats enough asked me to leave and locked the store putting the closed sign out. Told me I should be ashamed of myself for asking what her name was... she called the cops and we signed a no trespassing paper.... ridiculousreturned the vehicle to a different location and filed a complaint with Budget
