The people inside the building are always really nice and do their best, but my postal carrier, carrier 73 is the worst carrier I have had in MY LIFE. I put a hold on my mail because it was getting stolen, right? The carrier/sub doesnt even bother to read or too look to see that there is still a hold on my mail ( i.e. its been there for over a month.) I know Im not the only person that the mail carrier takes care of, but come on its not that hard to read. My overall experiences with the post office have been decent but lacking at the same time

This usps delivers the mouse that I ordered from Amazon yet the box the mouse was in was not sealed. It felt like soda was spilled on the cord and the sides of the mouse. Then I have more packages that they never delivered to the Ted Gunderson Awarement Organization.

I DO NOT understand the process of the delivery service!!! I track EVERYTHING I order! 2 packages coming in on same day - both small enough to fit in boxes at apartment complex. ONE NEVER delivered and the other left in the front door area hallway of our complex! Why cant they put the boxes in the mailbox IF IT FITS or leave it at the doorway?? Seems like anywhere from 2 to 3 different people delivering in one day also because envelope mail and packages never come at same time! AND NO ONE EVER seems to answer any phone # given for customer service and the complaint link NEVER seems to process completely through!

A certified letter was mailed from here (by my mother, to me) and never arrived. I tracked it for more than a week and it was finally returned to Minot. Problem number two is that the mail carrier just put it in her mailbox... There was no issue with either address so we remain confused. I would like an explanation but no one answers the phone, you can’t leave a message. Terrible post office.

The gentleman who helped me two weeks ago was great, however I didn’t catch his name. Laurel, on the other hand, was an absolute nightmare to work with today. She put more effort into complaining about my lack of education in sending packages rather than helping the situation. All while making sure the lobby knew how many minutes were left until closing time. In the end I shipped with UPS.

They dont even deserve the one star it made me add. This is possibly the VERY worst post office I have ever had to endure. Im not sure who our postal delivery person is, but they repeatedly fail to find our location or make a delivery. UPS and FedEx deliver right to our door, but the post office cant even find a 7 story hospital in the middle of an empty field.

Ive never felt the need to write a bad review before, as a person who works in customer service, I always try to be patient and polite, even when I am met with bad service. But unfortunately, the consistent ineptness and complete apathy of this post office has prompted me to give a 1 star review. Coinciding with all the other one star reviews, the minot post office has lost my mail on several occasions. I have received notifications that delivery attempts were made but failed, even though I was home. I have received forward notifications saying I no longer lived at my address and did not pick up my mail, even though I check my mail every day. The post office has recently lost my voting ballot, new social security card, passport AND birth certificate. When I went in to ask for help they were incredibly rude and acted as if I was an inconvenience and accused me of lying about picking up my mail. They were completely apathetic that they were responsible for losing my important documentation and refused to do anything further. And now, I most likely will not be able to vote in the upcoming election. There is one younger male employee who has always been friendly and helpful, but the older staff, especially the supervisors, are disrespectful and refuse to take any responsability.

I used the post offices machine to print a label for my package. The label came out completely faded. This means that there would have needed to be an ink refill (Im guessing). Anyways, the worker that I talked to about the issue made a big deal out of it. I understand that it is probably protocol to make a customer fill out an application for a refund, but after I filled it out no one helped me. I stood in their lobby for 10 minutes. After I filled out the paperwork, no one helped me or had any interest in doing so. Even though I only spent $2.60 on the label, I think it is extremely ridiculous that not one employee could have stepped in to help me get a new label for my package. I will not be using this post office anymore. I will go to FedEx or something instead.

This has to be the worst organization Ive ever felt with. Ive had multiple packages not show up, the staff is rude and unwilling to help with anything. They could care less about any of the people they service in this city...not only this but I received a package today only to find the box smashed with visible water damage like it had been soaking (was still damp on the inside after opening). I would not trust anything though them, useless organization and a waste of money.

Would definitely give zero if I could. Was expecting packages on a Friday. Saw the mail carriers truck parked on my street when I went to walk my dogs, figured Id be getting my packages within the hour. Day ends, no packages. Check tracking and I have Delivery attempted, no access to delivery location. I was home all day, and there was nothing that should have stopped the from delivery, unless two cars being park in front of my house stopped them from walking to my door. I have received another package but not the ones they said they would redeliver. Previous deliveries have been late and damaged. Staff in this location are hit or miss, Ive had good and bad experiences.

Then 2 weeks later got original medication.Get mail that has wrong address wrote on mail and is still delivered to mail box.

2 packages in a row have been delivered broken by some mouth breather working here, being stuck home with covid have heard the last few packages literally dropped at the door, including a set of tumblers that cost more than their daily wage, please teach your delivery boys proper handling techniques

Laurel is the absolute worst. She was so rude and unprofessional, I have never had such a negative experience anywhere in my life. She was so rude I literally am shocked at how she is even still employed.

My package shows delivered to a PO Box at the post office. The problem is I dont have a PO Box. When I went in to ask about it they said it was there and they had a picture of it from when it was scanned in but nobody can find it. They asked me to leave my phone number and they would call when they found it. Its been almost a week and no call. They dont answer the phone when you try and they close at 5:30pm. Im at work till 6pm. What a disaster.

Nothing bad . First time at post office i met one nice guy in the front desk he helped me find out my package cause I did something wrong and I need the tracking number. Second time i have to move to GA and I reschedule to pick up the item at post office. So I met one lady in the front desk she helped me find out the package and told me come back in one hour because the package still in the truck and USPS guys who worked in the Dakota square mall also very nice. Not sure why a phone number is listed if it is never answered and the voice mail is always full. Ive been in a handful of times and always had good help so I cant say theyre the worst post office, but its frustrating to try and get in touch with them and being unable to.

Terrible overall. Honestly. Letters not being delivered in a timely manner, important documents not being delivered at all, and customer service is an absolute joke. I wish there were other options for mail delivery besides the post office because they are the absolute worst dumpster fire of an operation I’ve ever seen.

I am currently stuck living in lodging on Minot AFB due to the COVID restrictions. I attempted to set up general delivery on base for my mail both online and in person at the post office in town and mail is still going to the Minot post office. The address keeps changing to Minot general delivery online. I went to the Minot post office again and was told by the female working there (about 45 mins prior to me writing this) that there is no such thing as general delivery for the Air Force base and it will never work. I went back to the base post office and they said people have been using it for years and even went and verified that there was a piece of mail there with the general delivery address on it. Absolutely ridiculous how rude the worker was working the window in Minot. She even tried to tell my wife that the package that was showing delivered online as of Saturday wouldnt be there yet. She walked out less than a minute later with the package...

Renee is rude as hell, I tried to find a package that was delivered to the wrong address and I was met with rudeness and sarcastic looks and expressions when she was talking to me, the whole staff complains about their job in front of all the people there. If you hate interacting with people how about don’t work in a place where that’s part of the job.

Sent very important paperwork express. The paperwork was due to arrive Saturday, it is now Monday noon with no delivery. I was on hold over an hour only to be told to call the post office in Minot directly. I have been calling them over half hour and no one will answer...just voice mail and hang ups...

We have a P.O. Box here and employee/s here like to steal mail. Especially the stamped Hallmark style envelopes which are clearly a holiday/birthday card. Obviously these stand out as probably containing a gift card or some cash and are easy to fold up and pocket/stash in your pant waist.We are military and not from ND, we have family from various parts of the country and somehow our mail that appears potentially valuable continues to go missing 50% of the time. We have resorted to telling family not to send us stuff because so much of it has never arrived.

Envelope I paid First Class for was suppose to be delivered to Surrey on Saturday. Tracking number showed out for delivery. Never came. Tracked it again. Now says available for pickup in Minot.

Post office employees have stolen multiple birthday cards and anniversary cards. I and family have resorted to mailing everything in plain, small shipping boxes to prevent theft. Writing while on hold after and hour about yet another package that says they delivered but is missing. They never answer the phone or seem to care. All corrupt. Sad what our USPS has turned into. Not to mention after waiting for long periods of time on hold if they answer they dont even let you respond before hanging up on you. Very angry and sad about their service.

Who is running the show here at the Minot post office?, Its almost as if they have to try hard to suck this bad. Havent got my package yet because it said it was an undeliverable address. Which I assure is not because I live at this place and get things here for it is a real life address. Address is 100% correct I doubled checked. So maybe find some different jobs.

If your calls go unanswered, youre unable to leave voicemails because their voicemail is full. It seems like most of the staff take an issue with checking on packages that are currently in the back. Ive met two people in this post office that are genuinely nice people, who seem sincere, but the rest look like they dont enjoy what they do.

I ordered a chest binder from Amazon. Seeing as though it was my first one, and I could be more confident, I excitedly waited until the expected date on Amazon. Id never before cared about any order so deeply. I would sift through the notifications. I was notified around 1:00 am it arrived safely in a city 2 hours away. So I was thrilled to know it would come on the expected due date. Today, each hour of school dragged until I finally came home from school expecting the package on my doorstep. I was thrilled it was coming on a Thursday because I thought Id be able to rock my flat chest at school on Friday. To my disappointment the package never came, I excitedly waited at my window until night when I looked on my phone to find they closed at 5:30. I was just really disappointed that it never showed up, Tomorrow I guess I wont be feeling that confidence I longed for. I know this is a first world problem, but all week Ive been longing for my package and it didnt show up on time. I honestly hope it will be here tomorrow, if not Im going to lower my rating... However, I did order something the 20th and it arrived safely at its due date, the 23rd. So props for that.

Every time I place a hold on my mail, and ask for a delivery date. I don’t get my mail delivered until I complain. It’s frustraiting not getting my mail or packages.

Been in my apartment for six months now and I’m still getting other people’s mail, even though I have personally gone in to the post office building on three separate occasions to tell them that only I am living here. (Granted it’s also the fault of the people living here prior that didn’t fill out change of address, but still I’ve tried to correct it three times). Also, this holiday season I have been expecting three different packages from family (me and my husband are military and not from ND), I tracked all three packages daily, not one got here on the expected delivery date, and when I continued to check the tracking, it said that they attempted to deliver but nobody was home and there was no place to put it. I was home all day, including the time of delivery, and heard no knocks at the door (even though my neighbors have packages at their doorsteps with no problems, why should I have to go pick mine up, it was a DELIVERY for goodness sakes). Terrible service. Absolute garbage.

Ive been waiting on a package for days and online it says out for delivery but when I went to check my mailbox, there was a slip that said they couldnt reach us and it would be redelivered. I was home all day. Never got a knock on the door. And there was no attempt to re deliver like the slip said. & on multiple occasions, my mail was left at the wrong apartment and neighbors had to bring it over. Not b/c they know me b/c Im new here. If the neighbors could identify my address on the package, why couldnt the delivery people?? Im very unimpressed w/ the service here.

When they were interviewed by the press they passed it off as theft from locals, they wont accept any responsibility. There needs to be a true investigation on the post office in minot. It is very poorly organized and people stand in line like cows in a chute.The website states passport assistance M-F 10-3 and after standing in line for 20 minutes: that is not true. Only by appointment. I asked why the website was incorrect and if they could correct it. I was told they had Emailed national and its their problem. I wanted international stamps and they were out. :( What a typical poorly run government business

I have had 2 packages go missing when marked as delivered even if Im home and I check as soon as I get the notification. These packages where for items small enough to fit in my mailboxes, and other peoples packages were at the mail room. Either the carriers are not reading the packages correctly and dropping them in the wrong mailboxes or even at the wrong address, or they are stealing smaller packages.

How in the hell does a package ship all the way from California to ND, tracking says its out for dilivery, then all of a sudden there is a problem with the address.. Everyday i see the mailman at the same time sitting at a gas station drinking coffee when i know he hasnt fished his route. When you call the post office no one answers, when you go in everyone is rude. Worst post office in the nation.

In the past, have had multiple packages mis-delivered to wrong address (a street or 2 over). Most recent package is just missing. Got delivery confirmation for a package, but no where to be seen.

Had a package that was “delivered” today at 2:15 and I have been here all day and there isn’t no package left at my door as the tracking states. I called to find out where my package is and spent over 30 mins on hold with no answer.

I cant think of a time I have ever had any problems with USPS other then here in Minot, they have lost a package of mine worth $30, it said delivered and gave a time online and when I went out to get my mail it wasnt there. The next day it still wasnt there, so I called the headquarters office and they filed a complaint and I had the Minot office contact me back. The delivery route manager for my area told me she would look into it and call me back, she never did call me back. I ended up having to call her and she told me I should have had insurance put on it and they didnt know where my package was and that they would not do anything to refund me back.I frequently buy off ebay and thats not always an option. Its been about 8 months and I still never got my package. They also deliver mail to my box that belongs to another address. If your having anything shipped USPS try and get insurance so you dont get the short end of the stick. No wonder this company is having so many issues.

Absolutely pathetic! When you call there is only a recording telling you that you need to leave a message but their voice mailbox is full. There are checks thats been mailed to us and other mail that have either gone missing or returned to sender without any apparent reason. I pay for this mailbox and expect service. I would have given it zero stars if that was possible!!!!!!
