We didnt want just any crew with chainsaws arriving and cutting things without knowing what they were doing. Dan took time to go over the plan before his crew arrived and gave a clear, understandable bid.The crew was professional and business like and showed consideration for our neighbors and their property while working. We were very satisfied with the work and with the yard cleanup when they were finished.

I had two sick trees taken down, one dead tree hauled away and dead branches removed off of another tree. I was very happy with the work that was done and the price was reasonable. Dan the owner spent much time explaining what trees/bushes we had and which were good and which were not. Our project including pruning and removing trees from our entire yard. The previous owners had not done any work for many years. The service provided was outstanding. The proactive communication of project status was beyond what you normally get with contractors and was much appreciated. The cost was reasonable compared to other quotes I had. Dan and his team did an excellent job on a very large project. I had neglected a variety of large trees in my front and back yard. Dan spent several hours providing consultation and recommendations on his first visit. You can really tell he cares about taking care of trees and his business. His work crew was very professional; did the work required, did not damage any flower beds or other property and cleaned-up their mess.

Dan from the Tree Squad is a good arborist, who integrates his knowledge of trees with the job at hand. In our case, we had a very tall cottonwood which needed trimming- were talking at least 70 ft high- and he was able to get the job done. We had 3 estimates and Tree Squad was the one to go with. A couple factors that lead us to choose these guys was that they: 1. Listened to what we wanted to have done, not have unnecessary work which drives up the price, and 2. Had the resources (bucket truck) to reach those higher limbs to make the appropriate cuts that were needed. So if you have a tall tree that needs trimming, give Tree Squad a call.

Professionalism and attention to detail are alive and well. They live at here at the Tree Squad. We originally planned to take down several ash trees. Dan came out and assessed the health of our trees and gave us a plan to save them. They removed an old sick Maple that had been scaring me every thunderstorm for the past two years, as well as one ash that was storm damaged that could have come down on our house. They treated the remaining ashes and pruned them to a really stunning canopy.. The work he did in our back yard, opening up the view to our lake channel, is nothing short of miraculous.
