I have never written a Google review but I wanted to share my experience to hopefully save someone else. My first experience was fine as I went in with a pair of pants to be tailored and it was a non issue. It was quick, easy, and cost effective. However, my second experience was far from that.I took in a brand new Navy Blue suit to have tailored since it was not a custom ordered suit. They made the measurements to be tailored and asked if I wanted to close the vents and I said no keep them open. When I picked up the suit, the adjustments made were extremely unprofessionally done. The shoulders were pulled in creating basically large shoulder pads on a slim fit suit, the back formed a large bulge because of the material pulled, the area cut in the armpits to fit my chest made the arm hole extremely tight, and the vents were closed. The individual who measured myself said I didnt care if the vents were open and closed. There was no documentation to prove this on either side and it was a he said she said moment and I looked past it as there was nothing to be done there. However the tailoring done completely ruined the suit jacket. They offered to fix the corrections done as best as they could for free which I took, but the damage was already done.According to their policy on their website they would buy it back, and Im sure if I made a big enough stink about the situation I could have received some money back to purchase a new suit, but I left it.If you are doing a simple tailoring job it seems like that is a non issue for the staff, but I would not risk tailoring something expensive like a suit jacket here, hence the 2 star rating. Maybe I was just unlucky and mistakes happen, but I hope this saves someone else from having a similar experience!
Beyond pleased with alterations done by Sonia on a outfit I ordered on line that was terribly long. When I picked up the outfit the next day the work was amazing and I asked if they could quickly fix a pair of pants that I wanted to wear on vacation the next day. They did it on the spot in minutes at such a reasonable price. I guess I thought alterations were more expensive and more complicated but they are so friendly here and get you in-and-out quickly not to mention you can park right outside the mall and its just near the door between lower level Sears and JC Penney -super easy to get to!!SUSAN L.
The part-time worker there is pretty great. Elaborates and explains the different kinds of hems so you can make the most informed decision. Hems anything from prom dresses to work pants to jeans.
They did a great job measuring and took time to ask questions. We would recommend. Quick service and well done.
Ive been happy the last several times Ive been here. Theyve always shorten my work dress pants length. Always perfect length where my pants look great and fit me. I love that they dont make it too short. Just long enough where my pants arent dragging.
FYI: This store has been closed for months, but no signage outside the shop.
Brought in a pair of dress pants to have a button sewn on. Staff was friendl, time quoted and price was reasonable!
Avoid this place. I brought in two wool trousers and a pair of jeans. The jeans were ruined. One leg was 3/4 inch shorter, they attempted to fix them, and turned them into long capri jeans. The hem job done on the trousers came undone in 2-3 wearings and when I went back the seams were botched. Now I have two trousers with horrible seams. The seams were sloppy, stitching was uneven, and basically crooked. They do not give refunds. They cannot do simple alterations. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
They are a professional tailor shop but they would not try to sew vertical ribbing at waist area as I requested, the way the leather flight jacket originally was done.
Love this place! Must visit for everyone!
